JosieTash Posted August 31, 2010 Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 My UNOFFICIAL title for this ep, ” Spine “ [ Screened in Australia on Mon 30 Aug 2010 – Episode # 5151 ] VPH Leah tells Miles she thinks she kinda crazy of writing those letters, but he counters by saying ta she is crazy in love. He also suggests maybe she made the wrong decision braking up with Elijah. FARM Dex is practising yet another speech he’ll say to Maze – telling her his feelings. Sid overhears Dex saying something [bout doesn’t hear what]. When he sakes, Dex covers by sting it’s a speech for school. VPH Marilyn is about to phone Sid when Alf says she make soo many calls to him that it would be cheaper if Maz moved in with Sid. Maz tell Alf their ‘shop isn’t at that stage yet. She then phones Sid. MF Dex phones Maz – but, of course, the phone is engaged. VPH Leah & miles talk further bout the sitsh – incl miles suggesting she send some of tee most recent letters she wrote to Elijah – or write a new one. He also commit Elijah obviously still feels for Leah & VJ – as he’s writing to VJ. ANGLEO’S HOUSE /ANGELO’S RESTAURANT Angelo & Charlie are lying in bed in a room with the lights off. Charlie remarks on how Angelo isn’t really “here” atm. She’s annoyed at he won’t open up to her bout all this Paulie business as its family stuff. Indeed, Charlie is so annoyed that she gets out of the bed and walks away. Btw, nice shot of her naked [street light lit?] back before Charlie put a top on. Angelo has a flashback to a chart with Paulie we’ve not seen before. Paulie’s got money trouble – he owes $30, 000. Angelo is disheartened that Paulie used the parent’s restaurant as collateral. LEAH’S NEXT DAY – Leah & VJ talk bout Elijah, incl the remark that if Elijah stayed, Leah DEF would have married him. Beefer VJ bails for school, he tell Leah that she can read Elijah’s; letters to VJ, but she declines. DINER Leah talk to Irene bout Elijah – and Irene suggest the letters Leah’s been writing to Elijah are like an alcoholic seeing he/she will have just 1 more drink. SURF CLUB Paulie talk to Alf bout how the juice & gelato bar her near the beach is a GREAT idea. When he makes another comet, it lead to Alf talking him bout April’s plan to ban the sales of bottled water. Angelo & Charlie talk to Paulie – with Charlie REALLY want to know what the sitsh is. She gets knower though. ANGELO’S RESTAURANT Angelo. Charlie, Angelo & Paulie talk bout possible option for Paulie to repay his loan. It doesn't help that Charlie isn’t fully “on the loop”. VPH Maz is in the kicthen when she hears Dex [who is at door practising his speech to her]. She lets him in – hoping that he’s her for reasons other than her. Dex looks in his pockets for his speech – its not there, so he bails. ANGELO’S RESTAURANT Angelo is stressed – as he recalls a recent chat with Paulie, in whish latter told him the $30,000 loan ISNLT from a bank. BEACH NEAR DINER Leah talks to Maz bout her sith – esp. Te Miles & irne have very difrent view on what’s happeing. Maz tells Leah to follow her heart. ANGELO’S RESTAURANT Paulie talk to Angelo – insisting he known how hard this is for Angelo, but Angelo insist paulie DOESNLT know [or he wouldn’t have asked]. LEAH’S Leah reads the letters Elijah sent VJ. Looks like she’s rally enjoying it. VPH When Alf sees there’s tofu for diner, he tells Maz he's off to the “highway to summer bay” project meeting. He also sys everyone else won’t he home for diner eirther. After Alf bails, Maz decide to have Sid over for dinner. FARM / VPH As Dex preps for THAT speech to Maz, tee phone rings. Dex wangles his way into getting an invite along with Sid form Diner. The call ends. FARM Dex tells Sid that the hospital was on the phone – Sid was to “stand in” for one of et other Doctors tonight. ANGELO’S RESTAURANT Angelo is on the phone with the bank, hoping to refinance - to get an extra $30,000. doesn’t sound like it's going well. NEAR DINER Leah joyously posts a letter – presumably to to Elijah.
