JosieTash Posted April 29, 2010 Report Share Posted April 29, 2010 My UNOFFICIAL title for this ep, ” Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow “ [ Screened in Australia on Wed 28 Apr 2010 – Episode # 5063 ] SUMMER BAY HIGH Amongst the audience in the hall, Miles kinda fiercely tells an unknown woman that she can't sit net to him. He apologises of that outburst – and then bails. The play begin – with Mel as the narrator in a half male/half female costume [see IADL]. Backstage, Annie admits to Ruby that she couldn’t tell Romeo her decision. On the other side of backstage, Xavier “suggest” to Romeo hat he should focus on the play [patter Romeo sees Annie and comments to Xavier bout how beautiful she is]. PIER DINER Leah sound rather impressed when Elijah talk bout his foot massage skills. Colleen tells them that she is going t close up early – as every1 is at the play. She tells Elijah that the interpretation is too modern for her taste. After Elijah bails, Leah insists to Colleen that Leah & Elijah are just friends, but it dent look like colleen is “buying” that. SUMMER BAY HIGH During a scan in the play, Xavier [deliberately or otherwise] is rather hopeless – and gets many laughs from the audience. Backstage, Ruby tells Annie tat she not nervous bout acting in the play, but the singing bit is still quite a concern. PIER DINER After Colleen bails, Miles arrives. He sound/looks distressed – and sakes Leah for some headache meds. SUMMER BAY HIGH On stage, we see Romeo & Annie perform the “where for art thou Romeo” scene, whilst in the audience, Irene or Alf comments that Annie’s a natural. Backstage, Ruby continues to stress bout signing. VAN PARK HOUSE Miles vehemently verbally attacks Rabbit – insisting that she is ruining his life. He tells her to GO … and is kinda stunned that she does [i.e. one second we can see her, the next she is gone]. SUMMER BAY HIGH Romeo & Annie’s current sitch really heightens their performances doing the “parting is such sweet sorrow” scene. Backstage, Liam commemts that everting is going great, and his fave bit is yet to come. That leads to further stress for Ruby. LEAH'S HOUSE Leah isn’t too pleased when Elijah tells her he knows why Miles is troubled, but he can’t tell Leah as it’s confidential. VAN PARK HOUSE Miles is, like, pining for Rabbit for now SUMMER BAY HIGH Once more, the real life sitsh REALLY brings some terrific believable emotion – Anne’s in teras etc – she & Romeo do tee “shall we meet again?” scene. They kiss at end of scene. VPH Miles wakes, and bails. LEAH'S HOUSE Whilst Elijah is gibing Leah a foot massage, Miles arrived. He not looking the best – but he insists, although the details are scratchy, that Leah & Elijah should steer clear of cows & little horse. Whilst Leah wonders who Rabbit is, Elijah wants to hear everything bout the impending danger. SUMMER BAY HIGH It’s the final scene of R&J and with Romeo already dead, Juliet stabs herself … nice touch that they use rose petals for blood. Ruby is very nervous when she gets on stage. Indeed, its not until Liam starts singing that song that Rubes starts singing. When she DOES start singing, she’s GREAT – and the audience REALLY loves it. LEAH’S Miles also warms Leah & Elijah that Rabbit told him bout the danger invaliding farm & school kids. Miles then bails. SBH After the play, Mel congratulates everyone on their great performances. Also, Romeo confronts Annie – who confirms his suspision tat she IS going back to Japan. He’s a little shocked when she says she is leaving morrow morn. NEAR SURF CLUB NEXT DAY – Anni & Irene head for Irene’s car, having just [off screen] said goodbye to Alf. Irene begins driving - but Annie sess Romeo running behind the car, so she gets out of the car [after Irene stops of course]. Romeo joke he slept in, but then tells Annie tat he didn’t sleep at all lat night. He tells Annie he loves her, but Annie wonders how long that will last. Romeo says forever – but it doesn't change things for Annie. After she asks him, Romeo whispers his ral [1st] name to Annie. They kiss – one last time, before Annie goes bask in Irene’s car.
