kaciexox Posted May 20, 2007 Report Share Posted May 20, 2007 Story Title: Kiss the girl Type of story: one shot, Main Characters: Martha, Jack, Lucas BTTB rating: G Genre: Mixture Does story include spoilers: Yes Any warnings: Spoilers Summary: Jack has fallen back in love with Martha after the whole cam thing oK so i know this is my second one-shot for the day but i was extrmely bored so don't expect anything too great. It's not very good KISS THE GIRL Jack looked over at Martha across the room. Jack had just moved into a new house and they were having a housewarming party. But for some reason Jack couldn’t take his eyes off her. “Jack, mate, are you listening?” Lucas said. “mm,” Jack said, still looking at Martha. Lucas followed his gaze over to Martha and laughed. “Mate, you gave that up ages ago!” “What?” said Jack finally turning to look at Lucas. “Martha,” “Oh no, I wasn’t…” “Yes, Jack you were,” Lucas said smiling. “Fine I was. But can you blame me?” Jack said turning back to Martha. Lucas just laughed. At that moment Naomi walked into the room and looked around. “Now there’s something to feast your eyes on,” Lucas said, looking at Naomi, “She’s beautiful isn’t she?” “She is,” Said Jack whispered still staring Martha. Lucas looked at Jack and laughed. “Not her, Naomi,” Lucas said. “Who?” Jack said. Lucas sighed sympathetically. “You’re a lost cause Jack, beyond help,” Lucas said getting up, “I’m going over to talk to Naomi, you should follow my lead. Just go and kiss her.” “Ha, funny,” Jack said as Lucas left. Then he looked over at Martha again, as if seriously considering Lucas’s advice. After a moment he laughed and shook his head. He looked down. ‘You’re kidding yourself Jack,” he told himself, “She doesn’t like you in that way.” “You know, talking to yourself is the first sign of madness,” came a voice. “Martha,” Jack said looking up. Martha sat down in the newly vacated seat next to Jack. “So,” she said leaning forward, “Whose this girl? Do I know her?” Jack shook his head. “Oh. Well what’s she like? Anyone who wants to go out with you has to meet all the guidelines.” “I have guidelines?” Jack asked. Martha smiled. “Yes. I made them up. I decided that you don’t have the brains to judge whether a girl is good enough for you so I will make that decision for you,” Martha laughed. “I went out with you,” jack pointed out. “You got lucky,” Martha, said laughing. “I did,” Jack said. Martha smiled. “So are you going to tell me what she’s like?” “Well she’s funny, smart, and easy to talk to…” Jack began. “Is she pretty?” Martha asked, “Because the most important thing.” “She’s beautiful…” Jack said wistfully. “Jack!” Tony called, “We’re moving the party outside!” “Ok. I’ll be out in a moment.” In a few minutes Jack and Martha were alone in the house. Jack remembered Lucas’ advice again. “Jack,” Martha said putting her hand on his shoulder, “Are you ok?” This is it, Jack told himself, it’s now or never. Jack turned and leaned in to kiss Martha. Their lips met. She’s not pulling away, Jack thought hopefully to himself. All of a sudden Martha hand found it’s way to the back of Jack’s head as she kissed him harder. After what seemed like hours Martha pulled away. “So just how beautiful is this girl?” she asked smiling. “Very beautiful,” Jack said as he kissed her again. There you see her Sitting there across the way She don't got a lot to say But there's something about her And you don't know why But you're dying to try You wanna kiss the girl Yes, you want her Look at her, you know you do Possible she wants you too There is one way to ask her It don't take a word Not a single word Go on and kiss the girl Sha la la la la la My oh my Look like the boy too shy Ain't gonna kiss the girl Sha la la la la la Ain't that sad?
