However when his friends returned to the city, Josh stayed on due to his love of the place (and a certain young girl known as Dani Sutherland). He soon found himself training to be a lifeguard, and when Vinnie was sent to prison, he found himself as head lifeguard of Summer Bay Beach. Josh and Dani soon became the star-crossed lovers of Summer Bay and although they had their ups and downs, everyone in the Bay knows that nothing could ever come between them. When Dani was struggling with her HSC recently, it was discovered that Josh had a friend who died because of the stresses of the exams, this caused a little tension between the two, but as always they worked through it. Josh’s parents are known to be top professionals in their respective jobs – something that Josh has always found annoying. This has meant that they wish to see their son do as well as they’ve done, and find it hard to accept that he doesn’t want to go to uni to study law like they want him to do, but that he is happy in his job as the Summer Bay lifeguard. See Josh on a mission to help his current love interest, Dani Sutherland, on her secret trip to the City in an attempt to get the Sutherlands back together. TabbyCool Posted February 22, 2006 Report Share Posted February 22, 2006 Well, the info in the character profile only goes so far. After Dani, Josh was living with Hayley and Noah. Josh kissed Hayley, I'm not sure if her and Noah were having problems at the time, but they certainly were once Noah found out about the kiss! I think Hayley went out with Josh for a while, but her heart was really with Noah. Josh tried to cash in on Dani's rape by telling her story to his journalist mother, he wasn't the nice guy he would seem from reading his profile! He also befriended Tasha when she first came to the bay, telling her she could be a model and buying her expensive gifts. He just wanted to take advantage of her, but Irene put a stop to it. (not a nice dude then! lol) I can't believe he's back! I remember the dream Alf had when he kind of died during surgery, and Josh was in his big flash red car with hayley. Ha ha!
