Former Home and Away starlet Isla Fisher says she's likely to marry British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, better known as Ali G, in Australia.

But a date is yet to set a date for the nuptials.

Fisher, who is in Australia to promote her new film Wedding Crashers, has been engaged to Cohen for about a year, with the couple splitting their time between London and Los Angeles.

"I come back (to Australia) and I'm like, why did I leave here," Fisher, 29, told AAP in Sydney.

"Now I am kind of stuck in England and it is a shame. I am going to have kids and push them in an urban area with concrete swings, it is going to be hell."

She said no date had been set for the wedding, but it would probably be held in Australia.

Fisher was accompanied by Wedding Crashers co-star Owen Wilson, who said he would like to work with the actor again but feared she may not be available.

"I'm afraid you're going to be like back in England married and not working and we are never going to get to work together," Wilson told Fisher.

"You're going to have to find a balance between that and working."

Wilson had some news of his own, hinting that he may no longer be on the market.

"Who knows how long I will be single for, it could be coming to an end," said Wilson, who has previously dated rock singer Sheryl Crow.

"You can't stay at the party forever."

But the Hollywood "it boy" couldn't stop himself from commenting on Australian women.

"You can't help but notice when you come here, there are a lot of girls that are pretty easy on the eyes," said the 36-year-old, who has starred in films including Zoolander, Starsky and Hutch and The Life Aquatic.

Wedding Crashers tells the story of John Beckwith (Wilson) and Jeremy Klein (Vince Vaughn), who crash weddings to bed single women.

Fisher plays Gloria Cleary, Vaughn's oversexed love interest.

"It is not like I have a problem with nudity but I didn't think there was anything funny about seeing a woman's nipple," Fisher said, referring to the fact producers hired a body double for nude scenes.

"I feel like if you have a female comic character and then you see her nipples, then she is no longer funny which is clearly wrong but that was my theory and that's why I didn't want to do it."

The film has attracted controversy in America with some taking offence to Vaughn and Wilson's characters using Purple Heart military service medals to attract women.

"I don't want to offend anyone but I seriously doubt if they were (offended) because we are being so obviously ridiculous in the scene," Wilson said.

Wedding Crashers opens nationally on August 11.

Nothing wrong with England, bit harsh to say that and offensive towards people who live in the UK!
