The 21-year-old fiancee of tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt is expecting a baby in October. The Seven Network is launching a nationwide search for a replacement. While Cartright will leave at the end of next month, it has been decided her Summer Bay character, Hayley Lawson, will continue - necessitating a new actor. "The decision to leave the show was not an easy one," Cartwright said. "I've had such a great time and learnt so much, but at such an important time of my life I need more time and flexibility away from the day-to-day demands of the production schedule. "The last 6 1/2 years have been amazing, and it's going to be hard to leave all my friends at Home and Away." Seven's head of drama, John Holmes, said recasting the role starts today.
