Stars ready to frock

From The Eye

Herald Sun

April 22, 2005

WITH just over a week until the stars hit the TV Week Logies' white carpet, who's wearing what is the talk of the town.

While most of the stars have been prepping for the night for weeks, we hear there's been last-minute planning from some.

Bec Cartwright is still umming and ahhing over her frock, but we can't blame her - being the favourite to take home the Gold Logie does add some pressure.

One thing is for sure.

Cartwright will have her favourite accessory in tow, her talented fiance, Lleyton Hewitt.

X-Factor star Chloe Maxwell is another who hasn't made up her mind and will spend the weekend meeting designers.

Host Eddie McGuire will hit the stage in Armani, which is fitting given McGuire and wife Carla were guests of Armani in Milan this year.

Nine addition Cherie Hausler will be on the fashion pulse no doubt in a piece by trendy Sydney designer Kirrily Johnson.

Naomi Robson and Jennifer Hansen were on the same wavelength - both will wear designs by Sam Oglia-Loro.

As with many of the beautiful women attending, Robson will have to combine a busy schedule with beauty preparations.

We hear her secret is a couple of early nights and some early-morning jogs in the week before.

Comedian Corinne Grant will don Pierucci, while Neighbours star Stephanie MacIntosh thinks a red-hot item from David Medwin is the go.

Catriona Rowntree looked to Sydney's king of the sexy gown, Alex Perry.

Sandra Sully has gone very upmarket with a matching gown and shoe combo from international label Escada Couture.

Several Channel 10 names will be in designs by Ten's wardrobe supervisors Annebelle van Tongeren and Michiko Hughes.
