Braith and Jodi Anasta have confirmed they have separated after three years of marriage.

“We are going to continue to support each other and remain best of friends, we only want the best for each other and more importantly our amazing daughter Aleeia,” the couple has said in a statement to The Daily Telegraph.

The couple wed in October 2012 and welcomed their little girl in March last year.

The couple’s manager Sean Anderson also confirmed the split: “It’s with regret that I confirm that Jodi and Braith have separated,” he said.

“They have had challenges like all married couples and despite best efforts to make things work they have agreed that a trial separation is best for them and their precious daughter Aleeia.

“They would really appreciate it if the media can afford them some privacy during this time.”

It is understood the former Home and Away star has moved out of the couple’s home, and the pair has not been seen together at a public event since October.

Braith, a FOX Sports NRL commentator and former premiership star, and Jodi, a Logie award-winning actor, recently moved into a two-bedroom apartment in Randwick after selling their previous home in Clovelly.

There was no indication of tension in their relationship when the couple did an interview with realestate.com.au in September.

“For us at the moment, we’re looking for our dream home,” Braith, 33, said.

“Our house in Clovelly was going to be our dream home, but once Jodi got pregnant realistically it wasn’t actually our dream home.”

Jodi, 30, added: “We jumped the gun.”

However cracks appeared to show when the couple were photographed appearing to have a heated discussion earlier this week in a Coogee park.
