This School Holidays join Matt and discover the creative freedom and truth you can get out of acting for the screen. Students will work on objectives and scene work.

This workshop is a must for any teen serious about developing their skills.

Commences: 12 July 2010 | Concludes: 15 July 2010

About Matt

Matt currently plays Justin Jefferies on Home and Away, and is also filming the mini-series Rake for ABC starring Richard Roxburgh and Hugo Weaving.

Immediately after graduating he was cast in a leading role in a new channel 7 series Headland which filmed for two seasons (84 one hour episodes) and screened prime time in Australia and the UK. Matt has recently had leading roles on television in 'The Cut' for ABC and 'Legend of the Seeker' for Disney USA; and in the film 'The Children of the Silk Road' which filmed in China and Australia. On stage Matt has appeared for Bell Shakespeare Company in Romeo and Juliet, Griffin Theatre Company in Colder and in the recent production of Bug, and Sydney Theatre Company in Midsummer Nights Dream.

About Screenwise

Screenwise was founded by Australian Actress, Denise Roberts (Cops LAC, Packed to the Rafters, Subdivision, Razzle Dazzle, Always Greener, GP) in 2000. Overseen by Denise, the teaching staff includes actors of the calibre of Todd Lasance (Home & Away), Marcus Graham (Underbelly) Jeremy Lindsay Taylor and Kristian Schmidt (Sea Patrol), Kieran Darcy Smith (The Reef), Alex Davies (All Saints) and prominent reputable directors such as AFI Award Winner Peter Andrikidis (East West 101, Underbelly...) who are currently employed in film or television; as well as selected Casting Consultants and Agents.

A lot of these soapies seem to do these kind of workshops. I'm aware of Sophie Katinis ("Out of The Blue") teaching voice/singing lessons and there are a couple of others right now that are just escaping my recall.
