NickyDj3000 Posted December 16, 2007 Report Share Posted December 16, 2007 Well, another year is drawing to a close, and it seems the perfect oppourtunity to announce the highest rating shows [in Tasmania] for 2007. As is usually the case, the AFL 2007 Grand Final between Geelong & Port Adelaide was the highest rating programme of the year, averaging 112,692 viewers - equating to about a quarter of the state's population who tuned into Southern Cross for that one special day in September. The next highest rating show for 2007 was perennial favourite Home & AWay, which averaged a smidge over 100,000 viewers, also for Southern Cross. In third place was Australia's Got Talent, which will be returning in 2008, while Southern Cross also managed to round out the rest of the top 10 shows for 2007 with various AFL matches, RSPCA: Animal Rescue, the Rich List and Southern Cross Nightly News [weekends]. -Credit to 'the Examiner' newspaper, Sunday December 16, 2007.
