| Bobby discovers Fisher is his father and hits him, but slowly
accepts it Emma is dumped by Adam. She finishes school, and leaves Summer
Bay for the Gold Coast for work
After a strenuous football match, Tom drives home with Bobby, Steven and
Sophie. He has a heart attack whilst driving, and crashes the car, leaving
him in a coma, and the others in hospital - he eventually dies and Pippa is
obviously devastated
Carly meets ex-soldier Ben Lucini, and gets engaged. They move to an old
farmhouse, but Carly is reluctant to live there, and they argue constantly,
so Ben eventually rejoins the army, against Carly's wishes
Blake and Karen Dean arrive in the Bay; Sophie tries to con them but
fails. She manages to con an old lady who gives money; Blake is impressed
with her. They come to stay with Alf and Ailsa after the death of their
mother. Trouble occurred not long after. When they played cricket, Blake
batted the ball hard that it hit Fisher's car
There is an ongoing feud between Emma and Vicki. Vicki lied that Grant
sexually abused her. She also stole exam papers and Emma is framed. Emma
resorts to all kinds of extreme measures until Vicki confesses. One such
plan does not go ahead as she expects; she sneaks into the school to spray
'Fisher + Pippa' on the blackboard. Steven and Paul attempt to clean it off.
They are on Vicki's side; their plan is to gain her trust so that she may
admit her plans
Marilyn returns to school at the age of 22!
Fisher gives Carly and Ben a kettle as a present. When it is plugged in,
the fuse is blown. Ben was supposed to tell Fisher of the kettle but
chickens out. Carly call the company which made it; she is shocked to find
it out of warranty as it is two years old! She decides to write to them and
call the papers, and Fisher intervenes, but she insists on doing it. He has
to give them a new one and Carly says she will still contact the papers.
Left without a choice, Fisher has to tell them that the kettle is two years
old; he got it from the students two years ago!
Marilyn and Adam move in together. Michael and Haydn Ross join the
residents of Summer Bay
Michael takes an interest in Pippa, but she feels too guilty about Tom to
start a new relationship
Nick Parrish appears on the scene, and has flings with Marilyn and Julie
before falling for Donald Fisher's niece, Lucinda
Sophie causes rivalry with Blake and Haydn, when she can't decide which
one of them she wants to go out with
Marilyn tries to trace her real parents and ends up with two sets of them
instead! The first set are really nice, and she spends time with them. When
the second set turn up, she is shocked with them, especially when they ask
her for money. With persuasion from Bobby, she kicks them out, never wanting
to see them again. |
