Tribute to Sally Fletcher

To Kate,

I have been such a fan of yours since the shows beginnings and I was ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATED when I discovered you were leaving. I know though that you have made the right decision for yourself as an actor and that whatever you end up pursuing you will remain dearly loved by all your fans. Your character Sally will be sorely missed by all of us who love her and I know that Home & Away just won't be the same without Sally on our screens every night. I have always loved your acting and the way in which you make Sally seem so real, she almost feels as if she's a part of the family. From Sally's first kiss during spin the bottle, to Sally's "first time" with Heath Ledger's character, to Sally's first real wedding with the love of her life Flynn, to Sally losing Flynn and then only recently nearly getting herself killed, Sally has endeared herself to a whole new legion of fans each and every year since the show's beginning. Kate, you will be forever missed on Home and Away and I hope you do decide to make regular appearances on the show (just like Debra Lawrence has over recent years) so that you won't be gone from our 7pm time slot forever! All the best for your future.
