20. Angel Brooks/ Parrish (1993-1996)
Played by Melissa George
Angel arrived in the bay with a bang, angering
many of the bay after selling some of them fake
tickets for a concert. However, she and Shane
soon had a relationship that made many early
90’s viewers hearts melt, before they married.
However tragedy was just around the corner as
Shane died, but Angel soon found love again
and left to go to England with millionaire Simon.
21. Josie Russell (2004- )
Played by Laurie Foell
Angie’s identical cousin came to the bay in
2004 after finding out about Tasha.
=. Nick Smith (1999, 2000-2003)
Played by Matt Juarez and Chris Egan
The youngest of the Smith’s, he ran on a short
fuse and began to go off the tracks when he
appeared on the dorm and split with Jade. However
he got himself together and he left in 2003
to go to Hollywood and star in a film alongside
Heath Ledger.
23. Shannon Reed (1994-1997)
Played by Isla Fisher
Arrived in the bay with foster brother Curtis,
Shannon had an artistic streak, first as a painter
and then as an author. She left in 1997 to go
to Paris.
=. Bobby Simpson/ Morgan/ Marshall (1988-1993,
1995)
Played by Nicole Dickson
Summer Bay’s original wild child, the daughter
of Donald Fisher and Morag Bellingham, set up
the diner with Ailsa. By 1993 she was a respected
member of Summer Bay, but unfortunately she
was killed in a boating accident. Subsequently
she made reappearance in the Stewart’s fridge!
=. Kim Hyde (2004- )
Played by Chris Hemsworth
Arrived in the Bay soon after his father, Barry
Hyde and soon formed a friendship with Tasha
and Robbie. It has recently been discovered
in the UK that Kim has a child.
26. Ailsa Hogan/ Stewart (1988-2000, 2001,
2002-2003)
Played by Judy Nunn and Nancye Hayes
Ailsa spent time in jail when she was younger,
for killing her father. However that didn’t
stop Alf Stewart falling in love with her and
they got married. They soon had a child, Duncan,
and fostered many children along the way. Ailsa
had a very tumultuous last few years of her
life. She went into a coma after a car crash,
she came across her long lost daughter Shauna,
she was buried in a mudslide, her diner was
burnt down and then she suffered a heart attack.
However, she still managed to appear in the
diner two years later as Alf began seeing his
dead wife.
=. Sophie Simpson (1990-1993, 2002, 2003)
Played by Rebekah Elmaloglou
Came to the bay to escape her abusive father
Al Simpson and found refuge with the Fletchers.
She had a baby girl Tamara whilst she was still
a teenager, with Don’s nephew David Croft. Returned
in 2002, firstly for the sesquicentenary, and
then as surrogate for Sally and Flynn. However
she also found out that she was pregnant with
a Blake’s baby as well. Tragedy struck however
when Sally and Flynn’s baby died and then Blake
left her leaving her facing being a single mother
for the second time.
28. Flynn Saunders (2001- )
Played by Martin Dingle-Wall and Joel McIlroy
Flynn initially came to the bay in 2001 as Noah’s
drink counsellor. However, he and Sally Fletcher
were immediately attracted to each other. Two
years later they married, but it’s been far
from plain sailing. Firstly Sally has been unable
to have children. Then they broke up for a short
time after Flynn had an affair with Leah.
29. Meg Bowman (1992)
Played by Cathy Godbold
Came to the bay suffering from leukaemia before
dying in Blake’s arms on the beach, as the sun
rose.
30. Will Smith (1997-2002, 2003, 2004)
Played by Zac Drayson
The first of the Smith clan to arrive, Will
had an on-off relationship with Gypsy before
finally in 2001 they had a child and they married
soon after starting a new life in Queensland.
They have recently fostered Jesse’s child Rachel.
=. Max Sutherland (2002-2004)
Played by Sebastian Elmaloglou
Rhys’ brother Pete’s son. He lived with his
cousins for two years and had several relationships.
Most famous for righting a top-selling novel,
before he was found out to be a plagiarist.
40. Eric Dalby (2004- )
Played by Mark Furze
New to the bay, it has been discovered that
he is in fact Alf Stewart’s grandson.
32. Jesse McGregor (1996-2000, 2002- )
Played by Ben Unwin
As Alf once said, a good kid that found himself
in the wrong crowd. Jesse has spent some time
in gaol and has now returned to the bay to try
and make up for it. Leaving a daughter a few
years ago he owns a successful gym and had a
long term relationship with Leah. However that
fell apart and now he is with Josie Russell.
=. Jade Sutherland (2000-2004)
Played by Kate Garven
Jade, the younger of the Sutherland twins and
the quieter of the two has recently found out
that she isn’t actually a Sutherland at all
and is in fact a Degroot.
34. Shane Parrish (1992-1996)
Played by Dieter Brummer
Nick Parrish’s brother came to the bay as a
trouble maker and spent some time inside. He
then fell for Angel, but was shocked to discover
she had a child. However there relationship
blossomed and they were married in 1995. In
that years season finale however he was knocked
of his bike with eventually led to him dying
of septicaemia later that year on his 1st
wedding anniversary.
=. Shauna Bradley (1999-2001, 2002)
Played by Kylie Watson
Upset the establishment by becoming a female
lifeguard, she found out that she was Ailsa’s
daughter. She started a relationship with Jude,
but called it off after she became attracted
to his mate Flynn. Returned in 2002 and the
pair reunited.
36. Marilyn Chambers/ Fisher (1989-1993,
1995-1999, 2001)
Played by Emily Symons
Dipsy Marilyn finally achieved her HSE when
she was in her twenties. During her second stint,
she and Donald got married in one of the most
unlikely soap marriages ever. However she fled
after Byron’s death until they were reunited
in London at the launch of Don’s book.
=. Rebecca Fisher/ Nash (1989, 1994,
1996-1999)
Played by Jane Hall, Danielle Carter, Belinda
Emmett and Megan Spencer
Don’s daughter, who has constantly changed faces
during her run on the show. A skilful musician
she found herself teaching at Summer Bay before
sailing off to teach on a boat with her husband
Travis.
38. Selina Cook/ Roberts (1994-1997, 1998)
Played by Tempany Deckert and Louise Crawford
Another child to be taken under Irene’s wing.
In fact Selina was so grateful to Irene that
she changed her surname to Roberts. She was
last scene in England where Steven proposed
to her. However we found out five years later,
after possibly the longest engagement ever that
Steven had married, but it wasn’t Selina.
=. Seb Miller (2001-2004)
Played by Mitch Firth
Came into the bay in 2001 with sick mum, Anna,
and it was soon announced that Seb was actually
Alan Fisher’s son, and therefore Don Fisher’s
grandson. He leaves after being paralysed in
the infamous car crash over the cliff. |
