Hi again! Welcome to another exciting (we hope) issue of Summer Bay News. Hope you like the new title graphic. Its supposed to vaguely represent the opening titles with the grey lines and the font our names are written in. Lots to reply to as usual. Bex's editorial

Hello, BEX here again, for another exciting vice-editoral. So, Stephanie's dead. Has anybody really noticed? People slam doors now and again to show how upset they are. Pippa hasn't been mentioned for some time. Bert doesn't care either that his daughter could be permanently brain-damaged - he's more concerned with a decrepit old actress who won't be around long. And still no sign of Christopher, or Duncan for that matter. Shannon is apparently running the Ross household, going to uni for a minute per week (that's what it looks like) and whilst there also doing a lot of window-shopping. What course is she doing again, just over the hill at Yabbie Creek Uni? I'm at uni too and I want to transfer! I'd like to see her do just a little more ironing- Sam needs a new shirt everyday!

How is Kye being punished, I may well add? Where is he? Have you noticed that Rebecca doesn't really have any friends? She hangs around Travis and I'm surprised Kelly hasn't bopped her for muscling in on her man!

So Lisa was really hurt and had just been released from hospital? She looked surprisingly fit when we saw he r- maybe she went to a health spa! Is it me, or did she look as if she was waiting on her front lawn for Alf & Curtis to turn up? Is this all her wicked plan? Shall I live with nice Curtis rent-free, or stay with my little maniac, Shaun? Oh, um, er, hang on. I can't. Oh okay- which way is the airport?

Irene has obviously forgotten that her baby is still missing. It doesn't bother her so much now that she spent nine long months (thank you Ricki Lake) creating a baby and that could be being used in pagan sacrificial ceremonies in Yabbie Creek. "No darl, you can talk about Paul, do I look as if I care?" Are you fed up with the Selina, Jesse and Chloe saga? Do you care who gets who? Who's with me - Selina and Chloe should be an item! It makes sense - they go for the same things don't they? Unfortunately I don't think the scriptwriters think as laterally as I do. Anyway - back to reality - here are the spoilers!

OPINION POLL RESULTS

ALAN SHADE: Oh dear, this was a hard decision. Dodge was great but my favourite has just got to be Morag. She was just excellent as a baddie - she had that psychopathic edge to her...one minute she was all nasty and then the nex tminute you started to feel sorry for her. Bobby and Morag had some of the best scenes of the series in my opinion.

JEN TILL: Ok, for your poll...my fave baddie..I'll put Morag in there...the story lines with her and Bobby and Donald were great.

SIMON: I quite like Ms. Walker <G>

BEX (VICE EDITOR): My favourite baddie was definitely Morag. She personified evilness - I was so jealous of Bobby, having such an evil mum. Still, Katherine Walker is a close second. She should be in the plot a bit more often. I adore her!

JEREMAI (EDITOR): A baddie is someone we hate, right? Well, I think a good baddie always has a weak spot. Even H&A baddies are human and all humans have feelings, so I think a good baddie is one that is shown to have feelings and emotions. Morag always acted like a hard old bag in public but as time went by we saw more and more emotion. I remember feeling sorry for her once, when her house was broken into. We also saw how lonely she was and as much as she hated, or thought she hated Bobby, she couldn't stay away from her wedding. That's why I think Morag is the best H&A baddie ever!

GENERAL E-MAILS

ALAN SHADE: I love the new-look issue - it looks very professional! Welcome Bex - I really enjoyed the spoilers! They were great! I was surprised with the last poll result because I thought the answer would be 100% in favour of Marilyn being a caring woman - Maz is no bimbo.

JEN TILL: I haven't had much time lately for the good stuff in life ie. writing about home and away :}..with uni exams on the horizon..but I always look forward to your latest efforts...I think the spoilers r a good idea for those unfortunate :} enough not to live here in Aus.

HUGH: It seems to me that the quality of the site has improved immensely since you got a new vice-editor. She certainly knows her stuff, and her witty editorials make life worth living and mean I don't need to wait in suspense to know what is going to happen on the show in weeks to come. My favourite character on the show is Isobel, isn't she great? I love the way she overacts all the time. And she really does seem very British - don't you think so?

ANDY BAKER: I like the background! Toothpaste? You use strange toothpaste!

BEX'S SPOILERS!

CASEY: Casey is making a move on Liam (again), but he's not interested as he's still trying to get over Stephanie. He tells her basically to "get lost". Casey asked Liam why nobody liked her and he told her that she isn't the easiest person to get along with (she uses people, etc). So, she is being really nice but how long can she keep it up? She tells Joey she wants him to like her and they kiss just to see if there is still a spark, and nope, nothing.

TIEGAN:Tiegan is back! Her foster mum died in a accident and her foster dad doesn't think he can handle her. Sam isn't too happy. Tiegan is back on form and goes mad when Pippa says it is too late for her to visit Joey.

AARON: Aaron (a homeless boy who now works for Alf at the bait shop and sleeps / gets his meals there too) ran away from home and makes his way to the Bay. He is starting school and needs somewhere to stay. He was going to stay at Pippa's but now Tiegan is back. Aaron is also finding it hard to make friends, and ends up living with Alf and Ailsa. Although we haven't even seen Aaron yet, it is great to know that his sister, Justine, will turn up soon too.

FINLAY: Finlay and Irene have made up and Irene goes to see her give birth. Maz tells Irene that Fin's boy looks like Paul and it brings back all the memories.

IRENE: Irene decides to frame a picture of Paul, so that she is reminded he is a part of her life every day.

JESSE & SELINA: Although they are back together, Selina is still wary of Chloe. Chloe babysat Rachel when Joey should have, and Jesse apparently didn't tell Selina this. Selina is asking for proof that Jesse really loves her as she feels insecure, and they wonder if things can ever be "back to normal".

SALLY & SCOTT: After Sally losing her virginity to Tim, Sally gets a new boyfriend (Scott during her rebel stage). That doesn't last long. Sally has confessed about giving the key to Scott and she has got 2 weeks' of lunch detentions and Scott got 2 weeks' suspension. He told her she was going to be "one sorry chick" and that she had better watch her back. He tripped her in the hall yesterday and is being abit of a bully. Scott attacks Fisher in a violent rage after discovering that he's been excluded.

TIM: After going to prison or something similar, Tim returns to Summer Bay (after his family smuggled in immigrants etc). Sally doesn't know whether to tell him what has occured between Scott and herself.

MARILYN: Marilyn went to a doctor and he told her she can never have a baby. She has been talking to Pippa about her feelings because she has been down in the dumps lately about it. Marilyn wants to teach after-school classes as she feels her life is a little empty.

LIAM: Liam's mother comes to the Bay from South America, and wants him to come with her. In one episode she is driving along and a man in a car runs her off the road. Some people want to kill her as she is testifying against Liam's father. Frances rings the witness protection HQ and a man arrives, but he isn't from there, he's a bad guy! Frances hasn't been seen since. It appears Liam's dad is trying to kill Liam's mum and Liam has to "sacrifice his father's freedom" for his mother's life. Liam decides to leave Summer Bay.

REBECCA & TRAVIS: Rebecca and Travis are officially "an item". Where ever they go they can't stop kissing each other. They think they have the "perfect relationship".

CHLOE: After Selina and Jesse getting back together, Chloe is finding a new direction in her life agian. She is going to school as she used to, being her usual "superbrain" self. She is also helping Joey come to terms with Saul's death. However, she doesn't get on with Selina or Jesse that well.

[I'm glad she's back to being her superbrain self. Remember that brainy kid that couldn't stop babbling who Jack first met? These days its hard to believe that was the same Chloe - Jeremai]

LISA & CURTIS: Lisa leaves the show when Curtis does. She went on the so-called 'Surfing Circuit' with Curtis.

LOCHIE & SHANNON: Lochie has been off- and- on with Shannon lately. First he wants some space and the next he wants her badly.

TRIVIA ANSWER

Last time I asked who the last person to go off a cliff in Home And Away was, before Stephanie. The answer was Shane. He jumped off to try and find Dodge and Steven. Correct answers came from RYAN WEBSTER, ALAN SHADE and SIMON.

I suppose this was a bit of a tick question, I'm sorry. The following people could only remember Dodge: BEX DOWNEYand NICHOLAS.

NEW TRIVIA QUESTION

Hopefully this one will be a bit easier! What is the name of Sam's father? Its hard to remember he still has one because they never mention him these days! He left to be a lorry driver.
