After suffering from schizophrenia, Joey left the
bay to travel around Australia warning other
teenagers of the dangers of schizophrenia. He hasn't
yet visited Summer Bay High.
Chloe Richards - Episode 2677
Following the breakdown of her marriage to James,
once he discovered her deception, Chloe left the bay
with her daughter Olivia.
Chloe has returned for a guest stint since.
Rebecca Nash - Episode 2678
Left with her husband on a "big boat" after she was
offered a teaching position aboard. Have
subsequently settled in Europe and have a kid.
Travis Nash - Episode 2678
Left with his wife on a "big boat" after Rebecca was
offered a teaching position there. Was waved off by
family and has subsequently settled in Europe.
Marilyn Fisher - Episode 2715
After the discovery that their son was suffering
from cancer Don and Marilyn took him for treatment
in the US. When he died Marilyn ran away for the
1000th time and wasn't seen again (for two years).
Marilyn has returned or rather Home and Away went
to her in 2001.
Jesse McGregor - Episode 2760
After becoming embroiled in some sort of car crime,
Jesse ended up on the run from the police. Left his
daughter in the care of the Nashes, before turning
himself in later.
Jesse returned in 2002 for another full time
stint.
James Fraser - Episode 2803
Despite not loving her, James decided to go
travelling overseas with fellow hospital worker,
Juliette, who was in love with him.
James Fraser has subsequently returned for a
guest stint.
Justine Welles - Episode 2805
Following her performance in Curt's play, Justine
left the Bay to take up an acting career.
Natalie Nash - Episode 2830
After the "shocking" discovery that she had cheated
on Joel with one of his best mate, the Nashes
marriage crumbled and after a short period living in
a motel, Natalie left to start a new life in
Queensland alone.
Natalie has subsequently returned for a guest
stint.
Tom Nash - Episode 2832
After following head over heels in love with someone
called Gilly, he discovered she didn't love him, but
only wanted entry into Australia. Decided to leave
for a journey of self-discovery up and down the
coast. The viewers rejoiced.
Tom returned for a couple of guest stints the
following year.
Sam Marshall - Episode 2835
After an impressive surfing performance, Sam
followed Curtis onto the surfing circuit. His more
permanent exit came towards the start of 2001 when
he moved out to live with single mum Sandy.
Sam returned for a guest stint about ten episodes
later, and has made following guest stints.
Edward Dunglass - Episode 2875
After hearing the results of his Huntingdon's,
Edward left with Peta to travel the world before he
died.
Peta Janossi - Episode 2875
Left with Edward to travel the world after the
discovery he suffered from Huntingdon's.
Ken Smith - Episode 2885
After buying Irene a engagement ring, Ken had to
cost save at the garage and whilst working
underneath a car, the jack gave way and Will found
Ken underneath the car. In lifting the car off his
father, Will killed his dad.
Ken has returned numerous times in visions from
about every character over the past 5 years.
Joel Nash - Episode 2928
After the Olympic Mudslide, Joel broke his leg. On
hearing this news, Natalie returned to the bay with
baby Connor and they left soon after.
Judith Ackroyd - Episode 2957
Left after a year in Summer Bay, for a
headmistresses job in Switzerland, allowing her to
be nearer to Edward (or possibly further away from
Duncan).
Ailsa Stewart - Episode 2960
Somebody who callously thought that Duncan's life
was more important that her was Ailsa. In a
particularly crap piece of contrivance Ailsa died
off a heart attack after missing a heart appointment
earlier in the day. We cringed. Alf cried.
Ailsa has returned to the bay for a guest stint
as a vision of Alf's.
Harry Keller - Episode 2970
Harry left after turning everyone in the bay against
and left with his mother June. He ended up in the US
village of Salem.
Mitch McColl - Episode 3000
Mitch had been orphaned and when his mother's family
contacted him, he moved to New Zealand to live with
them.
Mitch has returned to the bay for a short guest
stint in episode 4000. He now makes the show.
