EPISODE FOURTEEN:

Kane returned to Irenes to find Scott looking quite happy with himself.

"Found a house then?" Kane asked

"I've bought one and works started on it" Scott replied

"Where" Kane said

"It was called the palace or something-it burned down a while back and it was cheap on the market-I thought I may as well buy that and do it up" Scott said

"That'll cost loads" Kane said

"Well its not me whos paying for it" Scott said

"Your using Gus' money?" Kane asked

"I've had it checked-it is legal so I may as well use it" Scott said, "Don't worry-I'm making sure that I keep well out of trouble-and I hope you and Callum do the same"

Ric waited for an answer silently after witnessing what happened,

"Nothing" Callum automatically lied, "Nothings wrong"

"You can tell me-It won''t go no further" Ric said.

Callum thought he may as well tell Ric the basics-after all he could trust him,

"His names kenny-I knew him when I was living rough after my mother died" Callum said

"Knew?" Ric asked "He didn't seem to friendly there"

"Thats because I owe him money" Callum said trying to sound cheerful, "Like I said its nothing to worry about"

"Owed him money for what?" Ric asked, determined to get to the bottom of it.

Callum hesitated, he didn't want any one to know his troubles but he knew Ric wouldn't stop asking questions until he got some answers.

"Drugs" Callum said, "Before you start on me I know it was wrong, but my head was all over the place. I took the drugs to try and forget, you know to relieve the pain. It didn't work and i started becming addicted"

"With Kenny as your supplier" Ric asked

"Yep, he kept pusing me into buying more and I ended up even more depressed so I turned to alcohol-to try and stop the drug addiction" Callum said, "In a way it worked but it got to the point where every time I saw alcohol I had to drink it"

"Which is why you turned down the juice bar job-because theres alcohol around there" Ric said

"I was worried that I'd start drinking again if I worked there" Callum said,

"So if you stopped with the drugs then whys Kenny still after you now?" Ric asked

"He believes I owe him money because I destroyed the drugs-and he gets a little touchy with people who owe him stuff" Callum replied, "I can sort it" He added after seeing the look on Rics face.

"I'm sure you can," Ric said "But I'm not going to let you deal with him alone"

"So what do you plan we do?" Callum asked,

"Get him to back off," Ric said simply.

EPISODE FIFTEEN:

Colleen continued to flash black looks at Scott during his shift at the diner. After a while Scott got a little annoyed and asked Colleen what the hell she was doing.

"I'm doing nothing" Colleen screeched

"Exactly" Scott replied, "The only thing you've done all morning is ignore the customers because you've been to busy staring at me-you'll start giving me the wrong idea"

"Why you cheeky, insensitive...." Colleen said, "Nothing more than a crook and a thief"

"Shut the hell up you stupid..." Scott said, his temper rising.

"Whats going on here" Alf asked

"I tell you whats going on-I quit" Scott said, "If working here means putting up with her then I'd rather work with manure"

"How dare you' Colleen said

"Give it a rest Colleen" Alf said, "I'll give you your money Scott and I'll see if I can sort something else for you"

"Na, its alright Alf-I don't want a job in a place I might end up seeing her" Scott left the kitchen walking straight into Kenny, who smiled sinisterly at him.

"Robbie I know yor serious about passing your exams but you need some fun too" Tasha said. "Even if its just a walk-I'm getting a little tired of sitting around in here all day"

"Well you know what?" Robbie said irratedly "Why don't you go?"

Tasha didn't even stop to say anything. She got up and walked out-as Robbie remained buried in books.

Callum entered the Diner and saw Kenny sitting in a corner. Callum nodded his head to signal Kenny who got up and said,

"Knew you wouldn't let me down." Kenny said, "Where is it then"

"Not in here," Callum said, he walked outside and Kenny followed.

After a short, silent walk in the sunset, Kenny and Callum reached the blaxland dock.

"Leave" Callum said, "Now"

"I think your forgetting-you owe me the money, therefore I give out the orders. Now where is it?" Kenny asked

"Your not getting it" Ric said, walking out the shadows.

Kenny laughed and turned to Callum,

"Really, is this the best you can do?" Kenny asked, "I'm quite ashamed for you"

"Kenny just go" Callum said

"Have it your way-you know I hate violence" Kenny said, 'Guess I'll see you around"

"Well that was easy" Ric said in surprise

"No, his lying." Callum said, "This isn't over"

Scott Phillips was walking along the beach when he saw Danni stumble towards him.

"HI" She shouted "Have I ever mentioned how good looking you are?"

"How much have you had to drink?" Scott asked eyeing Danni with dislike.

"About this much" Danni said holding her arms out "And I drunk for about this long" She dived on Scott and kissed him.

Scott pushed her away and said, "Come on lets get you home"

"Where is home?" Danni said, "Not with my loser father who screams at me every time he sees me. What I need is a nice strong man to make me better" Danni grabbed hold of Scott and laughed.

"What you need is sleep" Scott said

"Are you offering?" Danni laughed, "Escort me home then master"

Scott smiled and half carried Danni acorss the beach.

CHAPTER SIXTEEN:

Colleen ran into the diner hysterical. Alf sighed-he was just about to close up for the night and he didn't want to spend more time talking to colleen than he needed to.

"Its awful!" She said, "He's burnt it down!"

"What?" Alf asked

"That Scott Phillips-I went home to find my van up in flames and its obvious he done it" Colleen said, "I've called Peter and he said i should stay some where contactable so I thought instead of bothering poor sally and flynn I'd just stay in the diner."

"Yeah, sure," Alf said, agreeing that colleen may be right for the first time in saying scott attacked her caravan.

The next day Scott arrived back at Irenes house to a scene of chaos. Tasha was shouting at Robbie saying she was going to be staying away from him. Irene was trying to talk to tasha with no avail. Kane was trying to discuss what looked like a serious matter with Peter over all the shouting and Kirsty lay on the sofa clutching her head.

"You've gone and done it now" Kane said angrily to scott.

"Done what?" Scott asked.

"Where were you last night mr phillips?" Peter asked

"Whats it to you?" Scott asked

"Because Colleen Smarts van went up in flames and..." pete began

"And I'm the prime suspect? Just because I quit my job because of the old bat" Scott said, "I don't need a job anymore so why would I do that?"

"So where were you then?" Peter asked

"I was with Danni" Scott said and the room fell silent.

"Danni sutherland?" Peter said trying to disguise a note of surprise.

"You know any other dannis round here?" Scott asked.

"I'll check that-but if its a lie your in big trouble" Peter said, leaving the stunned silence behind.

EPISODE SEVENTEEN:

"You want her to live here!" Morag shouted, "Alfred, have you lost your mind?"

"I don't want her to live here-shes just got no where else to go" Alf said

"There is a very good reason that no one else will accept her" Morag said through gritted teeth, "I personally don't think Scott done it-he wanted to start a new life here"

"Well we'll see about that" Alf said.

"Yoo hoo" Colleen screeched, "I've just been getting my things which survived the fire-its a terrible mess"

Morag had a deep look of disgust on her face and whipped out the room before colleen said anymore.

"You swear you didn't do it" Kane asked.

"I swear on my own life" Scott said

There was a knock at the door and Tasha jumped up to shout again, thinking it was Robbie.

"Hes never had any time for me before now" She murmered as she openned the door. Callum stood there looking a little worried.

"I just heard" He said "I was asleep last night when it happened-you didn't do it did you?"

"For the last time-no" Scott said, "I was with Danni all night, she was drunk and I walked her home. When we got there I tried to leave but she wouldn't let me and broke down crying before..." He stopped speaking on seeing the look on Kirstys face.

"You slept with my sister!" She shouted, "You took advantage of her-the state shes been in recently she wouldn't of ment it"

"Shes in that state because of your father!" Scott roared

"Right" Irene shouted "Thats it-you out" She pointed at scott.

"You don't beleive me either" He said in disbelief. "Fine" He stormed out the house and callum ran after him.

"Scott-You know you didn't do it-I know you didn't do it-and soon they will to" He said.

"Well that depends if princess danni backs me up" Scott said, "You can tell kane he needs to over see the palace renovation"

Scott walked off leaving an annoyed callum behind.

Danni answered her door. She had a terrible headache and just wanted to sleep. But it was obvious that peter really wanted to talk to her as he had continued to hammer on the door for the past five minutes.

"Miss sutherland i was wondering if you'd answer a few questions" Peter said.

"Mak it quick" Danni said "I think I'm going to be sick"

"Last night there was an arson attack and we want to narrow down our list of suspects" peter said

"What does that have to do with me?" Danni yawned

"Well we have rights to beleive you were with Scott Phillips last night" Peter said, "We were wondering if you could back up this story"

Danni thought of her engagement and stafford then answered,

"I wasn't with him-I wasn't feeling well so I spent all night in bed" Danni said, "Sorry I can't help further"

"Right" Peter said, "I may have to ask you a few questions later-I hope you get better soon"

Danni closed the door and a single tear rolled down her face.

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

Ric couldn't help but laugh at the look on Callums face. He wasn't happy because kane had insisted that he should attend summer bay high for further education.

"I could never stand school" Callum scowled.

"You'll get used to it" Ric said

They walked down the corridor where Matilda and Cassie were waiting for them.

Matilda grinned oddly at Callum who smiled back nervously-wondering what the hell was the matter with her.

"Ric come see this" Cassie said suddenly, she pulled Ric away leaving Callum with Matilda.

"Hi," Matilda said, "Do you need any help"

"I'm sure my brain can stretch to the task of openning a locker" Callum replied.

Matilda gave what was obviously a fake laugh and said,

"You know-if you ever need anyone to show you round anywhere, I'm right here"

Callum thought this was a very cringe worthy attempt of trying to get his attention and replied, "I'm new in the school, not in the bay"

He smiled at her and walked off into class, leaving Matilda wondering what she done wrong.

Claire had bought a further three pregnancy tests to make sure she was pregnant

After all of them were postitive Claire eventually accepted that she was pregnant and she would somehow have to get Dan and Peter to have a paternity test. Unless she just lied, but then what would Dan do when he found out she was pregnant. Claire knew how much Dan wanted a child so she had forbidden Peter to tell anyone. She simply didn't have a clue what to do and anything she thought of was doomed to fail.

Rhys was about to leave the bar when Kirsty entered alone. She stormed over to him and whsipered,

"We need to talk-now"

"I have nothing to say to you" Rhys said in a normal tone-causing people close by to fall quiet and look round.

"Why are you back here? And whats your link with Josh West?" Kirsty asked.

"Its none of your buisness" Rhys snarled, "Your just the same as your sister, picking others over their familys"

The whole of the bar went quiet and Beth said to Rhys, "You had better go"

"No, she wants me to tell her something-so I'll tell her something" Rhys shouted "You choose a rapist over me-which makes you just as bad as him. You think I still want to know you when your the reason the family tore apart in the first place? Your no daughter of mine"

Rhys stormed past her leaving Kirsty in tears. Beth put her arm round her and shouted to the bar "Theres nothing left to see you vultures".

CHAPTER NINETEEN

Beth returned home after walking Kirsty back to the beach house. She was annoyed to see Robbie still sulking with himself over loseing Tasha.

"Your not going to get her back by sitting around" She said, "Now use that brain of yours and think of a way to win her back"

Robbie had been trying to think of ways to get Tasha back since she left to stay with Irene, he knew he had been ignoring her and was sorry-but he just didn't know what to do to show her his feelings.

"HE DID WHAT!" Kane roared "I'M GOING TO SORT HIM OUT"

"Kane, don't, please, for me" Kirsty begged

"Kirst he can't go round screaming at all, never mind in public" Kane said

"He doesn't wan anything to do with me. So i want nothing to do with him." Kirsty said, "Which emans you leave him alone-okay"

Kane reassured Kirsty he would leave Rhys alone-even though his temper was still rising at what Rhys had done.

Danni had been called by Beth to tell her what Rhys had said. Danni was thankful that Beth called her and left the house for the first time since her night with Scott. She knew Scott was still being questioned by the police and was still saying he was with her that night. Danni couldn't bring herself round to tell the truth as it would mean destroying things with Stafford. However she was determined to find out what her father was up to and knew that only one person in the bay could help.

"You want help! From me!" Morag said, looking down her nose at Danni, "Sorry if I sound amused but after lying about spending the night with my client scott phillips why should I help you?"

"I didn't lie.." Danni begun but Morag said,

"I've been in the buisness for many years and i am perfectaly able to tell a lie from the truth-good day to you"

"Its about my dad...and Josh West" Danni blurted out

"Well what about them!" Morag said loudly, after Danni fell silent.

"There is some sort of connection between them and I think it has something to do with my father returning to the bay" Danni said.

"Indeed, then why doesn't his little princess just ask him whats happenning" Morag asked.

"Do you think I'd be here if he told me that!" Danni said

Morag smiled and said, "Very well-I shall look into it, but not for you, I shall see it as a fresh Challengeon the sutherland behalf"

Morag showed danni the door, leaving Danni hopeful that if anyone could dig up the dirt, it was morag.

Rhys turned back round and headed home. He had went on a moonlight walk to try and clear his head but as it continued to pound he thought a lie down would suit him better. He reached the roadside when something hit him heavy over the back of the head. He fell to the ground unconcious as a shadowy figure stood over him.

PREVIEW: KANE IS UNDER SUSPICION AFTER RHYS ATTACK, BUT CALLUM IS SUSPICIOUS OF THIS SECOND ACCUSATION AGAINST HIS FAMILY.
