A delighted and tired Lleyton told journalists who had gathered outside the hospital, that the girl, weighing 7lbs 3oz was called Kim Hewitt. The reasoning behind this name is uncertain, but it is believed that both Bec and Hewitt have had a certain fondness for the name Kim. Lleyton was engaged to eternal runner-up female tennis play, Kim Clijsters for much of 2004 and Bec's character Hayley was engaged to Kim Hyde on the top Australian soap, Home and Away.
