Andy Posted November 18, 2005 Report Share Posted November 18, 2005 The fun of the fair Liverpool Leader 16 November 2005 A SPRING fair for two local schools, featuring actors from the TV show Home and Away, will be held at Liverpool Catholic Club on Saturday. The Christmas-themed fair is in aid of St Francis Xavier parish in Lurnea, and its two primary schools St Francis Xavier's, Lurnea and St Catherine of Siena, Prestons. It is the first spring fair the schools have held jointly. There is a wide variety of entertainment on the day, including the chance to meet and get a photo with TV personality Isabel Lucas, who plays Tasha Andrews in Home and Away, and Chris Hemsworth, who plays Kim Hyde. Other activities include rides, face-painting, airbrush tattoos, games, bands, stalls, showbags, chocolate wheel, lucky dips, a barbeque, devonshire tea and more. Sports memorabilia, including a NSW rugby league jersey and a signed Glenn McGrath print, will be auctioned. The fair runs from 10am to 4pm.
