The Siege Part 2

it is clare's last day in the city and she is about too leave when a letter arrives from two people what she never thought she would see again. two people that she thought was dead two people that eveyone though was dead. now she must get to the bay before thay do other wise a lot of people could die including the man that she loves

After4 hours driving Clare had finally arrived in the bay and the first thing that caught her eye was a police road block about 200 metres ahead stopping all cars going into the town. A sense of relief then went thought her Alex had managed to get thought to peter; there was a chance that they could get them before they could hurt the people of the bay.

When Clare had received the letter the first thing that went thought her mind was that it was some kind of evil sick joke, but then she released that there was a thing mentioned in the letter that only 3 people know about, a thing that told Clare who had sent the letter because aside from herself the only other people that now that Zoë had set fire to Clare’s house with her inside a few days after she had cut the brakes on Clare’s car was peter and Zoë and she now that peter had not told anyone so that left Zoë.

Clare had no idea how she had did it but Zoë had some how managed to get out of the warehouse before it blow up and if Zoë’s letter was to be believed than Sarah was also alive, peter had been right all along.

After about 15 minutes Clare had made it to the top of the line of cars and after a number of questions and peter telling them who she was Clare was allowed to go on. Clare then spent the next 30 minutes filling Peter in on the letter that she had received and going over how they were going to stop eve and Sarah from hurting any more people.

On reaching the station Clare and peter were met by ken and jack who were filled in on everything and were shown the letter which read like this,

Hi Detective Clare brody miss me!!!!!!!!!!! Ya it’s really me I got out of the fire alive but then you managed to get out of that little fire that I set for you so …… anyway tell everyone in the bay we said hi and that we’re coming to se them. Oh and tell peter that his little theory about Sarah was right she is alive and we’re coming to get him.

4 hours later and they were still no further along on finding any more information on where Sarah and eve were and they were getting more and more disheartened as time went on because the longer they took the closer Sarah and eve were to hurting the people of the bay.

Then jack (who was new to the bay since Clare’s time) said aloud the thing they were all thinking, which was that there was no way of knowing who Sarah and eve would go after so they would no protect the community. A fact which was starting to get to them all.

Clare then came up with an idea of finding out who might be in danger but I was peter who was going to have to do it because he was the only one of the four of them that was in the bay when Sarah attacked.

Clare’s idea was this draw up a list of everyone who was attacked by both women and any people who came up on both lists were at a greater risk than the rest of the people.

The lists read like this

After being back in the bay for 24 hours Clare and the rest of the group has so far found out the following information about Sarah and eve.

• The reason that Sarah and eve had not been seen back in the bay before now was because they both were recovering from injuries that they had received in the bay.

• That Sarah had been taken to a mental hospital in Perth in secret after she had killed Noah from which she had managed to escape 3 months ago. (No one connected to the bay had known about this.

• That while working at the hospital eve had been changing information on a number of different documents. Although at this point they were unsure hoe many had been changed so Clare had gotten some friends in the city to look into this.

After working in over drive for the last 24 hours Clare was finally persuaded to take a brake and only then all she would agree to was to go with jack to get food for everyone. (Although everyone was finding the last day hard in a way it was hardest on Clare because from the moment she had received eve’s letter all she could think about was that there was a chance that she could lose peter for ever.

At the diner

By the time Clare and jack had arrived a the diner they had both agreed that it would be best if jack ordered the food as people would be less supposes of him ordering so much food. (They were getting food for 10 people)

As for Clare she know that her friends would make a lot of her arrival back in the bay and as at the moment they did not want anyone to know that Sarah and eve were alive and could be coming to the bay if they weren’t here already. So while jack was waiting for their orders Clare caught up with Leah, Dan, colleen and the other who filled her in on everything that wAfter being back in the bay for 24 hours Clare and the rest of the group has so far found out the following information about Sarah and eve.

On the drive back to the station Clare spent the whole time in silence thinking about the people of the bay. While she had been talking to people in the diner she had released just how much they had to protect they could not let Sarah and eve hurt them again.

Back at the station

Peter and ken had for the last 10 minutes, ever since Clare and jack had left, going over everything that they now about both women to see if they could find any little detail that could help them. When all of a sudden there was a knock on the office door and Lana came in saying that a letter had arrived from peter and after handing the letter to peter she left the room, which left only ken to hear the letter that peter read aloud.

Detective barker by now you should know we’re back or if you don’t maybe that little bitch doesn’t love you as much as you think she does, we gave her enough time to get back to the bay so now we’re coming and there’s nothing you can do. No one’s safe.

Peter and ken were still looking over the letter when Clare and jack arrived back with the food and on reading the letter Clare pointed out one thing in the new letter that really scared her. How did eve know that Pete and Clare were together, they had only got together after she had disappeared. So that could only mean one thing, someone in the bay had told her after she had left which meant they were now after 3 people who could be anywhere, one of whom could be anyone in the bay.

As they were going over the information a report came through, a report that they had been dreading coming. It said that a man and woman had been seriously hurt in a road car accident and that the brakes had been cut. They were Sarah and eve’s first victims.

On arriving at the dinner the 4 cops found that almost the whole bay had made it there before them. On getting out of the car they were greeted by a scene of total destruction. The fire had taken most of the building and what was not on fire was filled with smoke. Peter, jack, ken and Clare all joined the crowd to help in any way they could.

For the next number of minutes they tried everything they could to control the fire then all of a sudden a window from the flat above the dinner opened and Martha started to scream for help (Alf and Morag were also trapped inside).

Scott, Flynn 2 SES boys as well as peter all said they would go in to get them (thought Clare had not wanted peter to go in as she was afraid of losing him). The 5 men were in about 5 minutes when the fount door opened and a group of people came out but not everyone was there peter and Martha was still trapped inside. They had lost peter in all the smoke.

As the group were about to go back in to get them there was an almighty crash and the roof fell through. There was no sound of a second then a scream went up calling for peter. It was Clare who Flynn had had to grab to stop her from going into the fire after peter.

The rest of the crowd was in shock were they dead had peter and Martha been killed when the roof collapsed

Clare had been sitting on the beach for about half an hour thinking about everything that had happened since she had first met peter 10 years ago when sally and Irene sat down beside her and for the next while they just sat there watching the sun come up and then Clare started talking about everything that she had been thinking about before, the day they had met for the first time (their first day at the accdamy0, their first date, why they had broke up , why they had got back together and also the day that Pete had proposed as well as some of the plans they had made so far for their wedding

Then all of a sudden a loud cheer went up from the dinner and tasha, Robbie, maddie and cassie all came running towards them shouting but it was only when they got close that they released what they were saying, which was

They found them, they found the, they found them, their alive they found them.

On hearing this all three woman got up and started running towards the diner to see if it was true. By some miracle had peter and Martha managed to survive a fire as well as a building falling on top of them

When they arrived at the diner Flynn told them that it was true they had been found and although they were still trapped they seemed not to have any life threaten injuries.

For the nest hour they worked on getting both Martha and peter released and on their way to the hospital because although at the moment they did not seem to be badly hurt they needed to get to the hospital to be checked over properly.

Peter was the first person to be pulled out of the rubble and was taken to the hospital at once (Clare went in the ambulance with him) were he was checked for everything from spinal injuries to internal injuries to head injuries. He (along with Martha) was given every test just to make sure they were really ok.

It was only after the results had come back (results that had given them the all clear) that peter and Clare were finally alone. Up to now Clare had been sitting on a chair beside Pete’s bed but as soon as the last nurse had left the room Clare got up on the bed with peter and into his arms. For the next hour they lay there and just talked before they fell asleep a sleep they did not wake from until jack came by 5 hours later with a latter they had received from Sarah and eve the letter read like this.

Well well well playing the hero again were we peter. Who would have thought it we were not even going after you and we almost killed you. Good job you made it out all though as we have a big finish and trust us you will not want to miss it.

Well we’ll see you soon but in the mean time give our love to Dan, Leah, Scott, hayley, Morag, Alf and Martha.

After reading this letter peter was ready to leave the hospital and go to the station to help but Clare managed to make him stay as she know Flynn wanted to keep them both in for a few days just to make sure they really were ok and also Clare was not ready to let him risk his life again as she had almost lost him once and was not going to let happen again anytime soon.

On arriving back at the station Clare was greeted by some great news ken and some of the other cops had managed to find the place where Sarah and eve had been staying since they had come to the bay. It was an abandon house about 5 miles from where they were at the moment (the station)

Half way there Clare got a phone call from a friend of hers from the city who had been looking into Sarah and eve and everything they had been doing while they had been in the city and in Sarah’s case while she had been in Perth.

Alex gave Clare some great news they now how Sarah had managed to get out of the Perth clinic. Two woman , one of whom was eve the other had dark shoulder length hair, slim build and she looked to be in her late 20’s early 30’s and see seemed to the a friendly kind of person.

They now had an even greater description of this third woman .

At the house they were greeted by the news that although nearly everything had been removed they had managed to get a lucky brake and had found some DNA and also a number of finger prints that had been sent to trace at once.

After spending some time at the house Clare went back to the hospital to fill peter in on what they had found out at the house as well as what Alex had told her. Peter was externally happy to hear this, they were now only a few steps away from getting Sarah and eve and their mystery friend. They were going to be able to get them before they hurt anyone else or so they thought because unknown to the cops eve and Sarah was taking their next set of victims.

And the start of their plans began.

Sally and Flynn had now been missing for 5 hours and the whole town was getting more and more scared by the second and in the end up Clare now they had to do the one thing they had never wanted to do, they had to call a meeting so they could tell everyone the truth about Sarah and eve. The results of the tests had not come back yet and although they did not want to call a meeting there was not other choose there was no other way to make sure everyone got the whole and right information.

So for the next hour Clare, jack, ken and a number of other cops went around telling everyone about the meeting at the surf club. Then while jack and ken went to the surf club Clare headed back to the station because of a call she had received saying that the report was going to be sent to the station and that they had found a match for the third set of prints.
