No pregnant pause for Mrs Hewitt

6 September 2005

Sydney Confidential, Daily Telegraph

WHAT a difference seven months can make.

When Bec Hewitt first wore this interesting ensemble to the Australian Open in January this year, her last name was Cartwright and she wasn't even engaged to the tennis champ -- let alone married or preggers with the ace's child.

Fastforward to this week's semi-finals at the US Open, and in addition to her favourite Yabby Creek inspired get-up, Bec is also sporting a massive sparkler on her left hand and a baby bump to boot.

No-one could accuse the former soapie star of being a slow mover. Glowing and tanned, pregnancy clearly suits Mrs Hewitt, who has watched her hubbie slam his way into the semi-finals of the US Open.
