Shepherd, left, who played the character of Dave in the Beaurepaire's TV commercials for 10 years, will shoot a scene with Hayley (Bec Cartwright's old character, now played by Ella Scott Lynch) today. Shepherd will play the father of Hayley's friend. It is not the first time he has appeared in the popular Aussie soap this year. In April he played a character who owned a storage warehouse and was questioned by police about the stalker in Summer Bay. Shepherd, who is currently rehearsing the lead role in Newcastle Repertory Club's production of Cyrano de Bergerac, will have to interrupt rehearsals to head to the Home and Away set. Unless she's seeing ghosts of people she never met now. Does she *have* any other friends who's father we don't know? Maybe Josh's... or they're using the term very oosely and it's Zoe's father?
