Heads at Pacific Publications, publishers of the weekly magazine, will no doubt be praying that their decision to run the wedding "exclusive" 10 days after the event will pay handsome dividends when the title hits newsstands today. In a surprise move, New Idea chose to run the first instalment of Simone Warne's tell all interview on its front cover last week, bumping the lovesick newlyweds off the edition. And in what seems to be a case of too little too late, the magazine's "world exclusive official souvenir" appears to have been scooped - offering little new detail of the hyped event. Despite the strict confidentiality agreement signed by guests and staff of the wedding, most major details were leaked to the press in the days following the celebrations. Cartwright's Alex Perry gown, her bridesmaid's frangipani inspired frocks, the 10-tiered wedding cake and most famously - the soap star's rhyming poem to her new hubbie - were all exposed prior to New Idea 's release. But the pricey sum paid to the happy young couple - believed to be double the cost of their wedding extravaganza - should be a nice little bonus to a certain Cambodian orphanage.
