Dialy Telegraph June 21, 2005 TV starlet Holly Brisley has announced her engagement to Paul Ford, her marketing executive boyfriend of eight months. But in what could appear to be a battle of the blonde brides-to-be, the Channel Seven "It-girl" is sporting a diamond ring to rival ex-Home and Away actress Bec Cartwright's. Ironically, Brisley, 27, is set to join the cast at Cartwright's former workplace when she makes her first appearance on Home and Away next week. But lightened locks and soapie status are not the only thing the two ladies have in common. Brisley's ring, presented to her by Ford on a recent holiday to Venice, bears a striking resemblance to the $200,000 Tiffany's rock that tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt gave Cartwright in February. Having sold her engagement news to a weekly mag, Brisley would not reveal any further details on the "dazzling diamond and platinum" ring.
