I'd assume its because Becca's 'pregnancy/miscarriage?' storyline would have finished so the writers could easily write her out for a bit...I can her Irene saying "The poor love, needs a change of senery, what with the anniversary of Noah's death coming up as well." to Sally as I type.

Plus, there's all that free publicity the show will get if Mr Becca Cartright does well  So it makes sense. But it would be funnier if he gets knocked out in the first round!

Bah,I'm British btw

oh crap. She will be on Channel 5 & BBC2 over here then in July. I'm just thankful I don't watch Tennis

Yes and ever 5 minutes the cameras will be looking at her. They did the last time she was at tennis.

Wimbledon doesn't really last for that long though does it? It's only like Lynne going off to do panto.

Yea Wimbledon only lasts two weeks, so she isnt having the whole summer off really. She's probably just having a month off.

But that was Seven covering that event twas it not, the BBC will be covering Wimbledon and won't be as interested in her.

Although when Delta Goodrem was going out with Mark Phillipoussis (sp?) the bbc cameras were constantly flicking to her. I felt really sorry for her actually as she was only just recovering from her cancer and obviously felt really self conscious. I suppose Bec isn't as famous over here as Delta though, so she won't get quite as much screen coverage at least.
