Does anyone know why they are going to stop showing home and away tomorrow .

Noooooo! I literally found out about this rerun tonight from a thread on digitalspy and then turned on my TV and checked my EPG to find out that the channel had no Home and Away episodes listed. Nor can I find anywhere online that states what basis the episodes were airing at, other than the fact that two episodes aired on Wednesday 3rd January. Was it two episodes every weekday (or every single day)? Was it two episodes every Wednesday night? Was it one every weekday, every single day or every Wednesday, with a double the first day just to kick it off? Were the two episodes on Wednesday 3rd January the only episodes they have aired so far? I missed out on rewatching somewhere between 2 and 18 episodes I guess, although the first 400 are on Amazon anyway, so it would have been worse if they had aired ITV-broadcast episodes from after episode 400 as those are the ones I'd really like to see.

I managed to finally watch last night and episodes 17 and 18 were shown, which means it was 2 episodes a day including weekends (didn't know it was weekends too).  Only showing episodes 1-18 is a bit odd.

Bit of a nonsense just for those.

Maybe the ratings were awful, even for a re-runs channel? I've said more than once that those early episodes of Home and Away are for hardcore fans and completionists only. They have dated badly and aren't a good advertisement for the early years of the show.

I hope it's a mistake as I'd love to continue watching. They have Donald on their That's TV 2 logo board on their website - so would seem odd to stop. Also, the listings on my Sky box have often been wrong and changed daily so maybe it'll turn up in a different slot. I hope so! I was just starting to enjoy it (and don't have Prime to watch it there).

It'a a Bit off if people can't follow the series from a designated start point.
