Why do you think this friendship has disappeared. I’ve noticed on this show how male friendships seem more forgotten whereas female's friends seem to continue more. Lunar Posted November 1, 2020 Report Share Posted November 1, 2020 I feel like part of the reason they made them friends was cos Ryder didn't have any guy friends at that point - only Coco/Raffy, but I guess now they've added Nikau, they kind of put that on the back burner (not sure why though as Nikau spends most of his time with Bella, so Ryder could really do with another guy friend his own age again). I suppose part of it is because Dean has a lot of connections and a lot going on (what with Amber, Ziggy, the Colby/Willow/Bella stuff), so its difficult to make screen time outside of that.
