rachel&kim
This is a really weird question but, what does the saying, 'Them's the brakes I guess.' or something like that, mean? I hear it all the time on Home and Away and I don't know what they mean when they say it! Edited October 4, 2007 by rachel&kim
Mistified
This is a really weird question but, what does the saying, 'Them's the brakes I guess.' or something like that, mean? I hear it all the time on Home and Away and I don't know what they mean when they say it! It's "breaks" , and it basically means "that's life" or do you know the expression, "that's the way the cookie crumbles"?

petetown
Possible spoiler for FIVE viewers..... Is the actor playing Rory the same one who played him before... seems different? Either that or his voice has broken in the interim?
bttb-rox!
^ Nope he is played by a different actor...Jack Rickard .
Daisyap
Yeah I noticed that, I laughed when Irene said "You've grown!" It seemed to be deliberatley done as a joke cos he was obviously different
-Tess-
That was like when Joel McIlroy replaced Martin Dingle - Wall as Flynn, and Irene said something about him getting a haircut, making him look different when it was obviously a new actor. My friend always says that around the time Flynn changed actor, Alf was in hospital because he had lost his memory. The new Flynn walked into this room and Alf says "who are you"?!! She said it was hilarious, and obviously done on purpose. I didn't see the episode myself.
