Don's mother was Isobel DuPre. She was an actress and did look very good, seeing as in 1997 she had a 52 year old son but she herself looked 55. Not sure if DuPre was her maiden name or her stage name?

If it was her maiden name, then that strongly suggests Don Fisher is of French ancestry.

Yeah, Donald does look like he may have some ethnic ancestry along the way

 

 

 

 

When Roo left, do we know what she was doing in The City? Was she working at Macklins Corp  with Frank?

I have some French ancestors who came to England in the 1700s. May explain my dark hair as lots of French have dark hair. It is a mix of ancient Roman/Greco Roman as well as Germanic. Yes, Don Fisher did look a bit Mediterranean.

Nobody bumps into Nicolle/Bobby but if what I read on LinkedIn is true, she doesn’t live in a major town.

By the way, Alex Papps was a vetinary nurse for 6 years I assume in the Sydney area, did he take care of your pets? 

 

 

Are any of the old themes (Carly’s theme, Bobby’s theme)used for the current cast? What about the “Have you ever been alone” song, has that been used for the new Roo?

Does anyone remember an argument between Steve and Roo in the diner? 

Greg Marshall posted this earlier this year. From other home and away photos/comments, sound like he would love a stint on the show

But Bobby looked pretty here.

The Stevo/Roo fight was over him accusing Simon Yates (temp Boyfriend) of burning down the General Store which killed Phillip and left Frank and Bobby homeless, respectively (when in reality it was Dodge who did it mainly to get at Celia, not realising Phil was home). They got into in the diner but Matt diffused the situation.

About two weeks later, Roo let Steve have it on the beach when Simon left her a ''Dear Jane'' letter and skipped bail. Basically barked at him til Ailsa led her away.

I find it odd they Alf had a problem with Roo dating an Asian guy but she didn’t have a problem with Frank who is of Greek decent
