Why I grew to like the Braxtons!.

At first I didn't really care about the Braxtons either way.

But after rewatched I realise how they brought something original to the show. I think they are the type of characters that if you look beyond their criminal background they are exciting characters and to be honest I didn't think Brax was ever a bad person. Naughty yes, but more because of the people he got involved with. Brax would never behave like Johnny Cooper.

I agree that Heath was bad at first but over time he proved himself a good guy. Even Heath would never cross lines Johnny Cooper did.

Casey, I think was very similar to Josh and that's not a bad boy but just got messed up with a bad crowd.

Kyle was my all time favourite character along with Matt Page but I'm not going to include him with the Braxtons as he became a character in his own right and stayed quite a while after all the Braxtons had left. I think it's a shame Kyle didn't stay just one more year as he could have had more time with other Summer Bay residents. From 2016 they seem to return focus on characters interacting more. I think it would be nice to see Kyle socialising with more characters outside of the Braxtons and we could have got to know him more as his own character away from Braxtons.

Brax I found to be quite the wally selfish that thought too much of himself.  That's not to say that I didn't love the excitement that he brought to the show because he did cause more problems than he solved

I really liked Casey. He seemed the most level headed of the bunch and Heath was very cool and pretty funny.

I wasn't ever the biggest Kyle fan. I didn't feel there was much point in having a fourth Braxton especially after kidnapping Casey. That was also the start of characters forgiving unforgivable things I think. So I do think Kyle should have been written out after his desert story.

Johnny Cooper he was awesome but he was a full out villian and the Braxtons were never that.

Now I do think the show's main focus is The Morgans..

I agree about Brax being selfish there were many scenes where he shown this however had this not been in his character I don't think Brax would of been the character he turned out to be with the popularity he gained among fans.

I liked Casey and the journey i felt he went on throughout his time on the show I almost felt like he had a battle with the good and the evil i mean that in the respect that as said above he was the most level headed and in some respects the most cleverest of the bunch and the one most likely to become a success but on the other hand at times he battled with wanting to be like his brothers/dad(s) I think at times he sort of found it easier to be one of them and act out the fire at Jake's place is one that springs to mind where he tried to help/be like Brax but completely stuffed it up because in reality that wasn't him. I loved the last few months of Casey's life becoming a success with the gym and finding real love with Denny, i think death was the only way for him to leave the show I just don't think him moving away with Denny would have the same impact.

I didn't really like Heath from the start but watching back old Episodes I really like him he was quite funny in the very early days, the journey and major transformation he went on was incredible but I still feel Heath is a little bit of a loose cannon no matter how good the writers make him out to be and will always deep down be a river boy and fall back into that life at any point the spin off apperances i think are reference to this and also his previous return, I do take the point of other fans that he is really like the new Brax just not as smart, It's a shame he left for a second time IMO I see a place for him Bianca and family in the show if they keep him away from his River Boy past.

Kyle at first for me was pretty pointless and I couldn't stand him he also went on a journey throughout his time on the show especially his and Casey's relationship which was good to see him reference Casey as his Brother when they found out about Johnny Barrett, It was also nice to see Casey's death effect him he began to grown on me but I still feel he felt like an outsider to the Braxton brothers and he went above and beyond trying to be one of them and to fit in which I think was a good call from the writers to make him completely different with the music ect was a really good touch, I was guttered to see him leave as I felt there were more to come from his character and his exit was pretty pointless but I guess we don't need to go into that again.

I could see returns for either Kyle or Heath, I think All or Nothing kind of established a way for Kyle to return without serving a full sentence.

I didn't see all of Johhny Coopers regin on the show but do remember him as an out and out Villain not caring who he hurt where as the Braxtons did have a heart and did care about innocent people being hurt.

As for the Morgans I dont think they have had the same effect on the audience as the Braxtons have and I don't think they'll ever be as big especially Brody who I just think is totally boring and pointless.

There's no way Brax or even Heath in his early days would not like Johnny Cooper.

I think TPTB regretted sending Kyle to jail, and judging by the end of All or Nothing, Kyle was going to be released sooner rather than later. As not only did he risk his own life big time by saving that prison guard from being killed, it also looked like Isla was ready to come clean.

So I think it speaks for itself that Kyle was going be released .
