Jack is topping the list in 1995 - 137 episodes as per where I've seen up to :)

I have only seen two weeks worth of 1995 episodes and I am certain Jack was in all of them. With all his prominence I wonder how the writers felt when he decided to leave

I am not convinced it was his decision, even though that is what is said.

1994 did feel like The Jack Wilson Show, which was very good.

I'd love to know if he was a popular character during original transmission.

From memory, Daniel Amalm was often a poster boy in the UK magazines, but I remember at the time not liking that Jack didn't learn from his mistakes, his relationship with Selina drove me crazy as they were forever falling out, I also sided with Fisher over the fire because I was more invested in his character, but the story with his Mum stands out for me as it was new to me to have a character discuss their ethnicity, I quite liked the relationship with Sally and his exit storyline, as well as his return.

Alexx summed him up perfectly for me here...

Thanks for the link, I haven't seen that thread before.

I have been frustrated with Jack at times but still love him all the same. As said he is very real.
