Why do you reckon they never brought in a new wife for Alf?.

The original Roo certainly made more of an impact in her short year on the show than New Roo has in 6 years.

We feel strongly about certain people and that never change

I thought he might have got a new wife eventually, but they definitely should have waited a good 2-3 years before doing that. Perhaps the producers thought they would have the same predicament that would eventually happen to Leah where she loses a husband/partner every few years.

but even mores it would give Roo a decent storyline which the very capable actress has been crying out for, for 6 years now.

They really have wasted Georgie Parker, haven't they?

Oh yes I love if the show could bring in some big names like Lisa McCune and have someone like Jane Hall get friendly with Alf. Yet alot of good stars are working on other projects right now

Didn't Jane Hall previously play (one of the) Rebecca Fisher - that would mean Alf is dating his niece :)

I thought they were going to make Maureen regular in 2003 and marry her to Alf.

But then they made her his half niece....Oops
