Chapter 4

Justin is working late at the garage. When a car pulls up.
Jay "Is Ash around?"
Justin "No, but can I take a message"
Jay "I would much rather just discuss it with Ash"
Justin "He's not going to be around till the morning"
Police sirens are going off in the distance.
Jay hands Justin an envelope. Jay "make sure Ash gets it"
Jay bails quickly.
Justin looks inside the envelope. It has a piece of paper with an address on it.
Justin leaves the garage. But in his rush forgets to lock up properly.

 

 

Ash is talking on the phone to Jay.
Ash "What do you mean you gave Justin the information?"
Jay "you told me you were going to be at the garage tonight and you weren't"
Ash "I got caught up. $1000 isn't the easiest thing to come up with"
Jay "I don't really care. As far as I'm concerned we are square"
Ash "Only I didn't get the information, Justin did"
Jay "alright! I will sweeten the deal. I will give you a name?
Ash "wait you had a name this whole time"
Jay "do you want it or not?"
Ash "yes"
Jay tells Ash.
Ash "Is this some sort of joke. There is no way this is right"
Jay "there is no mistake Ash. I checked it like 3 times"
Ash "Well check again. Because you are wrong"
Ash hangs up the phone.

 

 

Ash fills Justin in on his plan to find Billy's attacker. But cant understand why Jay gave him Irene's name and number.
Justin "Do you know what I think Ash?"
Ash "I would generally like to know what's going on in that little head of yours"
Justin laughs. Justin "I think you need a new PI"
Ash "way to state the obvious bro"
Justin "don't take it out on me. I'm not the one who wasted $1000"
Ash "your right I got scammed"
Justin "you should have listened to your sister and just stayed out of it"
Ash "how could I? she's my little sister"
Justin "for what it's worth, I would do the same if it were Tori or Raffy"
Ash "all I wanted to do was protect her and keep her safe and I failed"

 

 

Hunter is screaming Olivia's name.
Olivia comes storming down the stairs. Olivia opens the door screaming.
Olivia "Go away Hunter" before slamming the door in his face.
Hunter "Olivia, wait"
Olivia reopens the door.
Olivia "what! I've got nothing to say to you"
Hunter "Olivia, come on please"
Olivia "no just no"
Hunter "I'm sorry"
Olivia "you always are, but this time it's not enough"
Hunter "how can I make things better"
Olivia "I don't know Hunter, maybe by telling me the truth"
Hunter "I can't"
Olivia "either tell me the truth or I can't be your girlfriend anymore"

Dramatic fight between Olivia and Hunter. Wonder what's going on? loved the interaction between Ash and Justin. I bet Justin was relieved when he found out what Ash was up to, hiring a PI and not selling drugs or running a chop shop. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Chapter 5

Ash and Justin are walking back through the caravan park.
Ash "we better get going?"
Justin "Wait!, who's that?"
Ash "Who's where"
Justin "get down and hide"
Ash "why?"
Justin "check out that guy, he's stopping at Irene's house"
Ash "what about him"
Justin "doesn't he look dodgy to you"
Ash "you look dodgy to me"
Justin "this is no time for jokes, I am being serious"
Ash "so am I"
Justin "check out his tatts"
Ash "so is everyone with tatts dodgy then?"
Justin "No. But there is just something off about him"
Ash "wait, did you say a tattoo"
Justin "Yes"
Ash "can you make it out"
Justin "No. He is too far away"
Ash "we have to follow him"
Justin "you mean stalk him?"
Ash "just follow me"
Justin "I don't like this"

 

 

 

Mick "Mum, you have to help me"
Irene "why are you here"
Mick "I got bail"
Irene "you can't be here"
Mick "I need your help"
Irene "with what?"
Mick "I need you to protect me"
Irene "what did you do?"
Mick "it's not important. How's Olivia?"
Irene "why would you ask about her?"
Mick "she's not safe with you"
Irene "what are you talking about?"
Mick "your my mother not hers"
Irene "your not my only child"
Mick "I'm your biological son"
Irene "Let's go away from the bay. I have a cottage in the hills. you can stay there for a while."
Mick hears a noise.
Mick "what was that?"
Irene "nothing. I didn't hear anything"
Mick "Someone's here"
Irene "No one is here"
Mick "you called the cops didn't you?"
Irene "No I didn't, your imagining things that aren't there"
Mick "let's go, now"
Irene "hang on I have to pack"
Mick "you have 2 minutes"

Justin and Ash are peeping inside the window. Mick is on edge and is freaking out.
Mick "hurry up"
Justin "can you hear what they are saying"
Ash "not really"
Justin "do you know who that is with Irene"
Ash "I've never seen him before"  

Mick races outside to his motorbike. He picked up his helmet and quickly buckles it. Irene stumbles out of the house with a bag that is half open.
Mick "can we go now"
Irene "yes"
Mick throws Irene a helmet to wear. She places it on her head and fumbles with the strap.
Mick starts to become angry.
Mick "why are you stalling"
Irene "I'm not"
Mick walks up to her and quickly fixes the helmet.
Mick "hop on"
Irene hops on the back of the bike.
Mick drives off.

Ash tries to chase them down, but it's too late.
Justin "What's this"
Ash bends down and touches the fluid on the ground. He looks at it and runs it through his fingers.
Ash "it's brake fluid"
Justin "Oh no!"
Ash "this can't be good"

 

 


Billy's flashback: It was like a dream. I was walking through the caravan park when I saw him out of nowhere. I was in a state of shock and adrenaline took over my entire body. It was like it wasn't even me. Like I watching another person do something horrible. I felt like I couldn't breathe. Like my body had no oxygen. He deprived me of that, the day he did this to me. I couldn't stop.

Billy "My rapist, he's here in the bay". Billy could barely get the words out.
Vj "I thought you didn't see his face"
Billy "I didn't" Billy is on the verge of crying.
Vj "then how?"
Billy "I just knew the minute I laid eyes on him" Billy breaks down in tears in Vj arms.
