Casey turned 18 in early 2012, a few months beforehand, so I guess that'd make them around the same age or possibly Kyle a year older?

So Kyle would have been just marginally older than Casey then, but obviously he didn't know that.

In my story he was also a bit of a genius, it seems, as he did well in his HSC despite doing it when he was at most 16, and having come from a point of illiteracy. (In my story he was held back when he started school, to afford him some remedial teaching. In my mind, he caught up and actually ended up excelling). Then Danny Braxton got his nasty claws in, and everything went wrong from there.

Glad Kyle/Noah got to met his birth family and the Summers and Innocenti are getting along.

What a lovely ending.

Thanks for sharing with us Lubud :)

Wow  What a lovely ending to a heartbreaking but wonderfully written story :)

So glad Kyle is getting along really well with his Italian family. Especially with his twin brother. I felt so sorry for Nico, feeling that guilt for essentially his whole life. But Kyle is right- it's not his fault at all.  Lovely scene of Kyle meeting and hugging everyone :)

It was good that seeing his family brought back nice childhood memories for Kyle. His Italian heritage is still there in him and i suspect that he is going to find out more and more about it as he spends more and more time with them

Really great ending with everyone who cares about Kyle and little Noah. He has such a big family now. So different to how he was feeling not so long ago.

Really well done Ludub  Thanks for sharing :)

Absolutely beautiful ending, you've actually brought tears to my eyes here.I was as worried as Kyle about him meeting his birth parents but as soon as he saw them he realised that he belonged. And then the awkwardness with Nico dissipating as they realised they'd both suffered in their own ways.I'm glad the Braxtons and Summerses weren't forgotten and that ending was simply perfect.

Awesome chapter, Ludub :)

Loved how Kyle got to meet his birth family

Liked how the Innocenti and Summers are getting along

Loved the ending to this fanfiction. And thank you soo much for sharing it with us :) Xxx

Looking forwards to read more of your next fanfictions.

Thanks Kristen and  Jarlie! :P Glad you both enjoyed it! I thought it would be nice if the two families could get along. The Summers are very important to Kyle and he wasn't just going to forget about them when he found his real family. I liked the idea that they'd actually like each other enough to socialise together. The Summers wouldn't know anyone in the Bay so it would be nice if they had the Innocenti (even if they do live in the city) to do things with. Also, they're all such lovely people, who all love Kyle, so why wouldn't they get along?! Lol!

Again, thank you both so much for all your support x

Thanks KittCatt and Red Ranger 1!  I really appreciate the feedback! So glad you both liked it. I thought Kyle deserved to find a bit of peace after everything he's been through so I went with the warm and fuzzy ending! It needed it after all the misery!

I thought it would be nice for Kyle to finally have that sense that he belongs somewhere. That he has someone! I wanted him to remember them a little bit, and to realise that they really were his family, and that they loved him. Remembering some of his Italian would have been a shock to him but I imagine that little bits might come back to him as time goes on.

Nico's guilt is understandable too, I think, but he's wrong to feel that way. It's not his fault. They both probably have a bit resentment towards each other for different reasons, but I think in the end, as RR1 says, they see that they've each suffered in their own ways.

I wanted Heath and the Summers to still have a place in his life though. They were too important to Kyle for him to just throw them away. The name Kyle Summers-Innocenti is a mouthful, as Kyle says, but it means a lot of things. He's kept a part of each stage of his life.

I've really enjoyed writing this but I actually feel emotionally exhausted and a bit frazzled! I've cried writing this sometimes RR1, so I'm glad it moved you too  Thanks so much for the lovely words! xxx

Blimey me that was a monster of a story wasn't it? Dark but still blooming awesome...

Loved the twist with Kyle not really being Kyle but a someone  and then to be Noah I really didn't see those twists coming very clever Also I know what she did was wrong on so many levels but I loved Phoebe in this She made me laugh especially the scene when she was sat with those stoners by her caravan listening to music when Heath went to have a go at her that was amusing... And the whole laptop thing that was great.

I don't know about that last chapter though I felt the lump at the back of my throat rising abit there and that rarely happens haha So you were close to making me have a little sob But sadly you failed...

Funny really started to read this after telling you I thought the Movie Room was abit pants I can safetly say this story blows that out of the water..

Good that Kyle got his happy ending there but there's a sliver lining for Tamara in there too she bagged herself a 24 year old italian

Really good Enjoyed it Only taken me thirteen weeks to read
