Olivia Fraser Richards - Raechelle Banno

I like Olivia but ever since her abuse storyline I started to really like her (which is why she's my icon.) The abuse storyline was very well written and it's good she reported it to the police. Raechelle is a good actress.

Rochelle should probably win Best New Talent at the Logies. She's a little gem. She portrayed the terror of being under a cruel, depraved Cyber Bully's attack. Not over acted , or under acted. Just perfectly understated. Almost tragically beautiful. The chemistry between Her, Scott, and Lynne is wonderful. The Scene where she was undressing, I literally put my hands over my face lol. It was that powerful. Haven't beeyn that enthralled with a H a A story since Belles investigating 08, and Aden's breakdown in 2009. Very well acted, and directed .

I finally caught up as far as Wednesday's episode last night. I have to say, I am so impressed with this actress. I didn't particularly like her when she first arrived in the show but she's slowly becoming one of my favourites.   She has done an absolutely stellar job with this whole bullying storyline, giving an incredibly beautiful and understated performance. They've handled this subject with uncharacteristic care and sensitivity and I think a large part of that has been the actress (and the fact that she works so well with Lynne and Scott) rather than the writing itself. Just excellent. The scene where she was undressing just about broke my heart! It actually left me reeling for a little while. Powerful stuff! I also really enjoyed the quiet little scene with Irene at the bench where she told her about Kirk still being in her head. Again, the whole thing has been so well judged and I think they should all be very proud of themselves. Really looking forward to more Olivia storylines.

Spoiler
I'm so glad to hear that! I was almost in tears whilst watching the scenes where Olivia was talking to "Kirk" (Tabitha). I'm so happy that the writers decided to take the time put effort into Tabitha and the development of her character, and I'm so glad that Raechelle's character was able to be given such a powerful storyline to be apart of.

Just a reminder that this part of the forum does indeed run at Aus pace, so there's no need for spoiler tags to discuss things that have happened on-screen

ah, thank you! I'm never really too sure sometimes, but thanks for letting me know!

She definitely should! However, I doubt she'd be eligible as I think she's been on the show too long to be considered "new"? Hopefully she has a shot with Most Popular Actress, but she'd probably be beaten by someone like Bonnie Sveen who more people know, yet she's just as good.

When did the show start calling her Fraser Richards. I remember when Chloe and Lachie were discussing the surname Chloe was strongly against that one. Quote " I hate fake hyphenated names" lol

Since her most recent stint began. Whilst she was credited as 'Richards' on her 2005 stint, I guess it would make sense that they'd want both her deceased mother and father to be honoured in the name, considering she was brought up in a Fraser household for the second half of her childhood.

Or possibly (and quite ironically if that were the case) to stop raised eyebrows about seeing James living with a young girl on his own who had a different surname to him.

It's really is a shame that Olivia hasn't connected the show to the past in any shape or form and now she is leaving.

She really may as well have been a any new character instead of the daughter of Chloe and Lachie.

In the ariticle on this site about her leaving there is a picture of them as a family. The writers have made no effort to equate the two together.

All she'll be remembered for is a half heart abuse story and her relationship with Hunter
