kathrine french Posted January 30, 2016 Author Report Share Posted January 30, 2016 Sorry for the wait on the update A week later Steven was getting ready for a night out with Selina, when Lucy walked in to his bedroom. “You know I don't mind Selina, she is good for you, so when are you proposing Dad?" Lucy asked. “Lucy we are not ready to get married yet, maybe one day," Steven replied putting on his jacket. “When is the divorce going to be finalised?" Lucy asked. “I’m not sure a few months,” Steven answered. "Dad loves Selina," Lucy teased. Lucy's mobile began to ring. “I don't want to talk or see her," Lucy said, then switched off her phone. "See who honey?" Steven asked. "Tess, she’s been calling me all week," Lucy replied. The doorbell rang as Lucy and Steven went downstairs. “That will be Selina, have fun on your date, Dad," Lucy said racing to the door. "Good you are home," Tess said smiling. "I'm late, I got a date and I’m taking Lucy to Selina's," Steven announced. "What's has Selina got that I don't?" Tess asked, grabbing Steven's hand. "Where have you been? You left me with our daughter to raise alone" Steven snapped pulling back from her. “I’m here now Steven. Lucy, you and I could be a real family," Tess answered. “I’m with Selina don't come between us, or else you be sorry," Steven snapped, then he left with Lucy. "Steven this is really nice thank you," Selina said as they sat done for tea, in a fancy restaurant. Steven leaned over and gave Selina a kiss. “You’re welcome baby," Steven whispered then kissed Selina again. After dinner, Steven and Selina walked to the motel Steven had booked for the night. Steven held Selina in his arms after they came out of the shower. “This is nice. Us alone, I love you Steven," Selina whispered. "I love you too Selina," Steven whispered and then kissed Selina. Selina was smiling in Steven's arms a few hours later. "I could lie here forever, perfect night baby," Selina whispered. Steven kissed her forehead. kathrine french Posted February 4, 2016 Author Report Share Posted February 4, 2016 Selina awoke the next morning to Steven's mobile ringing, Selina got out of bed. "Who is it Steve?" Selina asked. "It’s Tess," Steven replied. Selina got out of bed and wrapped a sheet around her. Selina put her arms around Steven's waist and kissed him softly. "I'll be two minutes Selina," Steven said. "Fine I knew Tess would come between us, it’s only five thirty," Selina snapped. Steven watched Selina go into the bathroom. "Tess you know it five thirty, what do you want?" Steven snapped. "To talk about our daughter," Tess said. Steven hung up and walked into the shower. "Sorry baby, she won't come between us," Steven whispered putting his arms around Selina. Selina kissed Steven softly. "I love you Steve. I'm pregnant I found out yesterday," Selina said looking at Steven. "Really that's fantastic, that's wonderful baby," Steven said then kissed her loving. "I'm happy Steven, really happy. I love you so much and our baby," Selina whispered. "Our baby, I love that and I love you to Selina," Steven whispered then kissed her loving. Lucy and Sarah the next day were planning Lucy's sixteenth birthday party, which was three weeks away. "You can go for your licence. That's so cool," Sarah said. "Well it’s only two months until your birthday," Lucy said. "Can't wait until we seventeen. Road trip!" Sarah announced hugging her friend. "Think Dad will buy me a car?" Lucy asked. "I do. Your Dad is really cool," Sarah replied. "I always wanted my Dad and your Mum to get together. Do you think they will get married one day?" Lucy asked. "Yeah I do and they will have a baby. I always wanted a younger sibling," Sarah answered. "So have I," Lucy said as Steven and Selina walked in. "What's this about babies?" Steven asked. "Oh nothing," Lucy replied smiling at her father. Steven and Selina watched them go upstairs. "Do they think they know?" Selina asked.
