christine king Posted August 13, 2015 Author Report Share Posted August 13, 2015 Chapter 18The SchoolIts lunch time, Maddy, Josh and Matt are sitting down at a table eating when Evelyn and Oscar arriveMaddy, Josh, Matt: hey guysEvelyn, Oscar: hiMaddy: why were you late?Josh: yeah when did you get here?Matt: what happened this morning?Oscar: we were lateEvelyn: because Hannah and Andy were still asleep when we leftOscar: they had a big nightEvelyn: or they just got drunkOscar: yeah were not really sure whichMaddy: ok and what happend then?Evelen: well we couldn't get a lift from them so we had to run for the busOscar: and we did make itEvelyn: but we didn't have time for breakfastOscar: so we stopped at the diner and got somethingEvelyn: and that made us lateMatt: how late?Evelyn: like 30 minutesOscar: we got after school detention from our teacherEvelyn: which totally stucksMaddy: did you guys happen to see Spencer or Clare this morning?Evelyn: why? where are they?Matt: we didn't see them this morningJosh: we haven't had any classes with them either so we couldn't check if they were hereEvelyn: maybe they were just late too?Maddy: yeah but Spencer said he would meet us at school and he never didEvelyn: maybe him and Clare are together?Maddy: yeah maybeOscar: maybe we should go looking for them?Evelyn: we just got detention, we don't need anther oneOscar: what if they are in trouble?Evelyn: we don't know that, they are probally fineMatt: we will look ater school okJosh: good ideaMaddy: yeah we'll all look after schoolClare's HouseWe see some guy break into Clare's house and he calls out her name but there's no response, he picks up a photo of Clare and her dad, he looks at it and puts it down, he starts looking for something in the house...Road somewhereClare and John are driving in the carClare: hey dad, did you tell the school I wasn't coming in today?John: yeah I didClare: thanks for taking me out today, I needed time outJohn: yeah I know you did, you were so stressed after your conselling session yesterdayClare: I know but they are working, I'm getting betterJohn: and that's the only reason were still hereClare: I'm so glad you decide to let me stay, I've got real friends againJohn: im happy about thatClare: me too, everyting is going to be good from now on, I can feel itJohn: yeah lets hope soAfter schoolAs Maddy, Josh, Matt, Evelyn and Oscar all leave the school, they have all decided to slipt up and start loooking for SpencerAt the beachMaddy: I'm starting to get really worried, what if something happened to SpencerJosh: don't worry we'll find himMaddy: I just can't lose himJosh: you won'tMaddy: lets keep lookingAt the lookoutEvelyn and Oscar are lookingEvelyn: you really think he'd be around here?Oscar: I don't know, maybe?Evelyn: we have to look everywhereOscar: I know its getting seriousEvelyn: no ones seen him since before school, its been half a dayOscar: we'll find himEvelyn: we have tooOscar: come on lets keep lookingAt the lighthouseMatt is looking for Spencer and he see's someeone up at the lighthouse, he starts to go inside and he hears something, he yells out but no-one respones, he starts walking up the stairs, he keeps hearing noises the further he walks up, when he makes it to the top he dosen't see anyone and as he turns around to head back down, he notices someone in front of himMatt: who are you?Mystrey person: you don't remember me?Matt: no who are you?Mystrery person: I'm an old friendMatt: I think I know who my friends areMystrey Person: maybe your wrong about that?Matt: why are you here?Mystrey Person: for ClareMatt: you know Clare?Mystrey Person: yesMatt: shes never mentioned youMystrey Person: oh she wouldn't if she knows whats good for her and her family and her friendsMatt: I still don't remember youMystrey Person: you should, you know Clare right?Matt: yeah I met her when she turned up hereMystrey Person: you knew her before, you don't remember?Matt: noMystrey Person: you sure about that?Matt: yesMystrey Person: maybe I did a better job than I thoughtMatt: I don't understandMystrey Person: I drugged youMatt: when did that happen?Mystrey Person: at the partyMatt: which party?Mystery Person: the one that you went to in Brisbane Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

christine king Posted August 14, 2015 Author Report Share Posted August 14, 2015 Chapter 19Flashback to earlier that daySummer Bay House Spencer has just finished getting ready for school and he hears his phone beep, he picks it up, he notices its a text from a blocked number, he goes into in and reads it, it says "come meet in at the lighthouse or I'll hurt Clare", Spencer is shocked by the message but decides to go just incase its not some joke, when he gets down the stairs he tells Maddy he'll meet at school as he has something to do, Maddy says bye and leaves.At the lighthouseSpencer arrives and waits for the person that sent that text but its already lunch time by the time he gets here, he had to walk there he notices someone standing outsidee and realises it must be the guy who sent him the textSpencer: who are you?Mystrey Person: My names JimmySpencer: what do you want with Clare?Jimmy: were old friendsSpencer: friends don't threaten each otherJimmy: they do when they turn on youSpencer: I don't get what your talking about?Jimmy: oh I know but I need to know what you knowSpencer: about what?Jimmy: about what happenedSpencer: abut what happened when?Jimmy: before Clare came hereSpencer: so what happened before?Jimmy: yeahSpencer: well I know nothingJimmy: she told someone hereSpencer: how do you know that?Jimmy opens up his backpack and throws him a dairySpencer: what this?Jimmy: her diarySpencer: whats it sayJimmy: read itSpencer: what page?Jimmy: the last pageSpencer opens it up and starts to read it, it says "I'm scared, someone here knows my serect, well some of it, I never told them about Jimmy but they know enough, what if he comes looking for me, me and dad, or my friends, were all in danger, maybe dad was right, maybe coming here was a mistake"Spencer: what the hell?Jimmy: who did she tell?Spencer: I don't knowJimmy: who's she close too?Spencer: Matt, Oscar and JoshJimmy: wait did you say Matt?Spencer: yeah, wait how do you know Matt?Jimmy: were old friendsSpencer: why do I get the feeling, you wouldn't want to be a friend of yoursJimmy: oh your right about thatSpencer: I still don't get what you want with meJimmy: easy I'll use you to draw Clare out Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
