It looks like Steve misses out on the Gold but congratulations for being nominated - that's an honour in itself! He was up against a tough field of competitors.

At least neither Hamish nor Andy won so I'm overjoyed!

Good on you Asher Keddie!

I like Hamish and Andy, but so glad they didn't win for barely being on TV.

Well done Asher, a well-deserved win.

Wish people in the industry could learn to tell the time and keep to the schedule - even though it's delayed and seemed rushed at times, the show still managed to go an hour over time as it seems to do every year.

Disappointed that Steve missed out on the Gold but even to be nominated was a great achievement. The only male actor in the field so it is clear how popular/loved he is.

Well done Asher, a deserving recipient!

Just some thoughts from a distance: I agree with Light of the bay. Steve Peacoke is not a good actor. He is smiling when he is supposed to be angry, and when he is talking he doesn't sound believable... I have read about the Logies for 5-6 years now, and I think that it is very strange how you "rate" your actors in Australia. Very very different from Norway. i don't think an actor like that would have won a popularity competition here.

I know that Australia has better actors than him, he is not the best one in H&A, and even not the best Braxton portrayer either in my opinion. Dan Ewing is so much better in portraying emotions of all kind, and add more depth to his character.... I have never understood why mr. Steve is so popular...

I think Steve's a good actor. I find him to be very natural and believable . It's the character of Brax I don't really like. :P But I would say Steve's a strong actor. As are Dan and lincoln This is probably why the Braxtons get so much to do on the show and why quite a few people enjoy their storylines.

I think you're being a bit too harsh on Steve.

The only time I have seen him smile when he's angry is when Heath or whoever it is says something stupid during an argument; it's just the way Steve has portrayed Brax. I'm sure if he wasn't mean to do that he would get pulled up on it. While Brax was grieving for Charlie I never saw him smiling when he got angry.

Steve is an excellent actor. So glad that he won the Silver Logie. It's a shame he didn't win the Gold but just being nominated for 2 Logies in 1 year is a brilliant accomplishment. So a huge congratulations to Steve.
