Episode 16

The next morning (Monday), Tracey arrives at school half an hour before roll call. She sees Jacob walking towards her.

Jacob: Hey bestie.

Tracey: Hey. *they kiss*

Jacob: Ready for classes today?

Tracey: I have to talk to you about something.

Jacob: What's that?

Tracey: I want our relationship to be a secret.

Jacob: Why?

Tracey: I don't want our friends knowing that we're going out yet. Give it three weeks.

Jacob: Are you sure?

Tracey: Trust me. It will work.

*Jacob sees Sabrina coming*

Jacob: I'll see you in Business Studies bestie. *kisses Tracey*

Tracey: Bye.

*Jacob walks off just as Sabrina walks over to Tracey*

Sabrina: What did Jacob want?

Tracey: You know Sabrina? I tried to talk to him again, but he just pushed me away. I don't understand it.

Sabrina: Give it time Trace. He'll eventually come around.

Tracey: I know. Thanks Sabrina. By the way, do we have French today?

Sabrina: Period 6. And we have English Period 2.

Tracey: Both classes together!

Sabrina: Is the bitch coming?

Tracey: No. Gloria's still suspended. She sounded really sick this morning.

Sabrina: She's probably not really sick.

It seems that Sabrina's theory is correct. Gloria has gone down to Unanderra to visit her old primary school friend Skye Bouvier.

Gloria: Hello Skye.

Skye: Gloria! How have you been? *gives Gloria a hug*

Gloria: Not so good. My foster sister is being a bitch.

Skye: How so?

*Gloria tells Skye everything*

Skye: So that slag Janae is behind it?

Gloria: Too right she is!

Skye: I never did trust Janae. She's a creep!

Gloria: You don't say Skye.

Skye: You remember that time she spat in my face? She was like a camel!

Gloria: Yes I do. It was in Year 4. I CAN'T believe she did that! Always knew she was a feral cow!

Skye: Is she still a feral cow?

Gloria: Oh you bet she is! Feral cow turned junkie!

Skye: She does drugs?

Gloria: Since Year 8.

Skye: OMG! Finally some dirt!

Gloria: I know right!

*Gloria and Skye each have a smoke*

Skye: I'm just glad she's out of my life.

Gloria: She'll be out of mine too soon enough.

Skye: Why is that?

Gloria: I'm trying to convince my family if we can move to Bomaderry. That way Tracey will never see those idiots again.

Skye: But that's mean.

Gloria: I know Skye Bouvier! *smirks*

*Skye looks shocked*

At Cam's place, she comes inside with the mail she recieved.

Brooke: Five letters today. Interesting.

Cam: Water bill, phone bill, electricity bill, *hands Brooke a pink envelope* Oh look Brooke. It's a letter from Aunty Pam.

Brooke: Oh. I guess Mum wanted to write a letter saying how much she misses me! *takes the envelope*

Cam: What's this? *opens an envelope* Oh it's the court papers.

Brooke: Court papers for what cuz?

Cam: You remember that bitchy waitress from Gloria Jeans Coffee at Figtree Westfield?

Brooke: Yeah! She was nasty!

Cam: I know. It was just papers telling me to go to court on Thursday.

Brooke: Do I have to talk?

Cam: Hope not. But if you do, you must tell the truth.

Brooke: I will cuz.

*Cam goes over to Brooke and hugs her*

Episode 17

The next day (Tuesday), Abby is at her local modelling agency where she is talking one of her fellow model friends Grace Wood.

Abby: So how was your weekend Grace?

Grace: I gained 3 kilos!

Abby: You still look good.

Grace: I'm feeling fat lately. I seriously need to lose some weight.

Abby: But you're already skinny.

Grace: To you, I look skinny. But me, I'm fat.

Abby: Oh you are not Grace.

Grace: Trust me Abby. I gained 6 kilos last week.

Abby: The more you obsess about it, the more you might gain weight.

Grace: But I do worry. I like how I am right now. I better get going. *walks away*

*Abby looks concerned*

Meanwhile at Warrawong High, Tracey and Jacob are on their lunch break.

Tracey: I can't believe none of our friends know we're dating.

Jacob: Yet. They'll find out soon enough. *kisses Tracey*

Tracey: You doing anything after school?

Jacob: I WAS going to take my car down to the car wash, but I think we should spend some more time together.

Tracey: What do you have in mind?

Jacob: I was thinking we should go to City Beach.

Tracey: Now that's what I like.

*Jacob and Tracey start to walk to the oval. As they do, Peter sees them holding hands*

Peter: Hey guys.

Jacob: Sup Pete?

Peter: I'm good. Why are you guys holding hands?

*Tracey and Jacob let go of their hands*

Tracey: We were? Oh! We were just practicing.

Peter: Practicing for what?

Jacob: Practicing for my cousin's school play. Isn't that right Tracey?

Tracey: Uh..yes! We better head to the oval now. See you later Peter.

Jacob: Yeah. Later man.

Peter: Bye.

*Tracey and Jacob walk off as Lilly walks over to him*

Lilly: Hey Peter. *notices the suspicious look on his face* You okay?

Peter: Yeah I'm fine. But I'm getting pretty suspicious about my besties.

Lilly: Why is that?

Peter: I think they're hiding something from me.

Lilly: You think so?

Peter: I've know Jacob since primary school and he tells me everything! He's like the brother I never had. Something fishy is going on and I'm going to find out!

Lilly: Okay then. *smiles*

At Cam's unit, she is anxiously waiting for Brooke to arrive home.

*Brooke opens the door*

Brooke: I'm back cuz. *lets out a huge smile*

Cam: Where were you cuz? I was getting worried about you. *notices Brooke smiling* You look happy today!

Brooke: I am! Want to know why?

Cam: Please tell me.

Brooke: I've been invited to a party on Saturday night! I'm so excited about it!

Cam: A party??? Where???

Brooke: You know that Sabrina chick?

Cam: Sabrina Wren? Yeah I know her.

Brooke: Well her cousin Tyra is throwing a party down at her place while her parents are away.

Cam: I'm not liking the sound of this.

Brooke: And guess what? She invited me!

Cam: Have you met this Tyra girl?

Brooke: Yeah. Sabrina introduced me to her while I was out.

Cam: Well, I'm glad to see your confidence rising cuz. But I do worry what this party is going to be like.

Brooke: Trust me cuz. I'll be fine.

Cam: Okay. You may go.

Brooke: YES! Thanks Cam. *gives Cam a huge hug*

*The door knocks*

Cam: Why don't you go to the bedroom you are staying in and read a book? You look very tired.

Brooke: Okay. *wheels away*

*Cam opens the door*

Abby: Bestie. I seriously need to talk to you.

Cam: What's up darling?

Abby: I think one of the models at the agency is having an eating disorder.

Cam: Who?

Abby: You remember Grace Wood?

Cam: Oh yeah. I think I met her once during cheerleading practice. Why?

Abby: That's the model I'm talking about.

Cam: Do you really think she could be having an eating disorder?

Abby: Cam. The girl weighs 58kgs. She's far from overweight.

Cam: I don't know. Maybe you should talk to her.

Abby: I'll try. *smiles weakly*

At the Jenkins household, Gloria decides to talk to her parents about moving to Bomaderry.

Gloria: Hey Dad?

Alan: Yes sweetie.

Gloria: You know how you wanted to own a horse farm?

Alan: Yes.

Gloria: Well you can if we move into this house at Bomaderry. *shows Alan the house*

Alan: The rent's cheap!

Gloria: I know. We should TOTALLY move there.

Alan: What about school?

Gloria: Dad. I'm really starting to get sick of Warrawong. It's full of junkies, bogans and anti-social people.

Alan: I'll talk to Mum about it.

Gloria: Okay. Thanks Dad. *goes upstairs and smiles*

Alan: *to himself* That girl sure does get some bright ideas.

*Gloria goes into her bedroom and sees a photo of Tracey and Janae*

Gloria: *to herself* Say goodbye to your new best friend my sweet foster sister. We're going to Bombaderry and there is NOTHING you can do about it! *smiles*

Episode 18

Side note: One day passes from Episode 17.

On Thursday morning, Cam is at Wollongong Local Court where her discrimination case against Megan Andrews is underway. Brooke is outside the court room due to her anxiety getting the better of her.

Judge: Let's hear Miss Andrews's testimony first.

*Megan goes on the witness stand*

Judge: What happened that Friday morning down at Gloria Jeans?

Megan: Oh well I was very nicely saying to Camryn West that there wasn't any room for her cousin Brooke to sit and she completely BLEW a gasket!

Judge: I see.

*As Megan continues speaking to the judge, Cam has some very interesting thoughts running through her brain*

Cam: *thinking to herself* That bitch is about as shallow as Paris Hilton. I HOPE the judge sees through Megan's fakey-fake act.

Judge: Thanks Miss Andrews. You may step down now.

*Megan walks off the stand and goes back to her desk, making sure she gives Cam a smug grin as she walks past*

Judge: Miss West? Could you come to the stand please?

*Cam goes over to the stand*

Judge: *sympathetically* Now what happened at Gloria Jeans?

Cam: I wanted to take my cousin Brooke out to lunch. You see she suffers from spina bifida and anxiety and when Megan was rude to us, Brooke got really upset. So I raised my voice at Megan and she starts being arrogant toward me. I told her to expect court papers in the mail and that I'd be taking her to Fair Work Australia.

Judge: Thank you Miss West. You may step down.

*Cam goes back to her desk and has a glance a Megan, who is ready to explode!*

(An hour later, the judge hands out his ruling after Brooke hands him her victim impact statement)

Judge: I hereby order Megan Andrews pay $2000 compensation to the victim. I'm also fining Gloria Jeans in Westfield Figtree $600 dollars for breaching the disability discrimination act. Case dismissed. *bangs on his gavel and walks away*

*Megan is now in tears*

Cam: Wanna go home now cuz?

Brooke: Absolutely. Now that we claimed victory. *gives Cam a hug*

Megan: *sobbing* My boss is going to kill me.

Cam: Serves you right for being a stroppy cow! *walks away with Brooke*

*Megan cries her head off*

When Tracey gets home from school that afternoon, Cheryl and Alan are waiting in the living room.

Cheryl: Glad you're home home Tracey. We want to talk to you.

Tracey: What about?

Alan: We've decided to move to Bomaderry.

Tracey: Why?

Cheryl: Alan got a new job and we want to be close to my parents. They own an antique shop in the town.

Tracey: Would Gloria and I have to change schools?

Alan: Yes. You would both go to Bomaderry High School.

Tracey: Truth is, I don't want to leave Warrawong. I've made so many friends since I arrived here several weeks ago.

Cheryl: Which brings us to another thing. If you don't want to move to Bomaderry with us, that's fine with us. Since you are our foster daughter, the decision is up to you.

Tracey: I've already made my decision. I'm going to stay here.

Cheryl: But you would have to leave this house when we move.

Tracey: I know. I think I might move in with Janae or find a flat close to the school.

Alan: We'll still keep in contact with you.

Tracey: Thanks.

*Cheryl and Alan hug Tracey as Gloria watches on from upstairs*

Gloria: *to herself* That wasn't part of the plan! I'm seriously mad now! *goes into Tracey's room and destroys her cigarettes* That'll teach you to mess with me.

NEXT TIME

- Tracey packs up her belongings but not before telling Gloria what she thinks of her!

- Janae and Sabrina almost get caught smoking weed on the school grounds

Episode 19

On Friday, its the last day of Term 2 for Warrawong High School students. Janae and Sabrina are behind the back of the science labs smoking weed.

Sabrina: I wonder where Tracey is today? She wasn't in French last period. It was SO boring without her.

Janae: She decided to take the last day of school off. She's leaving Gloria's place.

Sabrina: Why?

Janae: Didn't you hear? Gloria's moving to Bomaderry!

Sabrina: *looks shocked* Are you serious?

*Janae nods her head*

Sabrina: YES!!!! *gives Janae a high-five* But wait. What's gonna happen to Tracey?

Janae: She's thinking of moving in with me. Trouble is, Mum's not too thrilled with the idea.

Sabrina: I thought she liked Tracey.

Janae: She does. It's just that she's worried Tracey would get scared if we argued all the time.

Sabrina: She could always move in with Jacob. Hubba-Hubba!

Janae: Don't tell anyone this, but Jacob and Tracey are going out.

Sabrina: They are?!?

Janae: Shush. *signals Sabrina to shush*

Sabrina: How do you know this?

Janae: Tracey told me over the phone on Wednesday night.

*Miss Graham comes over to the girls*

Sabrina: Miss Graham's coming! Quick! Quick!

*Janae and Sabrina throw their weed sticks in the trash*

Miss Graham: What's going on here girls?

Janae: We're just talking. Having a bit of a laugh.

Miss Graham: I see. Well then, I'll leave you to it. *walks off*

*Janae and Sabrina look at each other and laugh*

At her local modelling agency, Abby sees Grace getting on a weight scale in the ladies room.

Grace: 68.5kg! That's two kilos heavier! *grabs her hair in frustration*

Abby: Grace? Are you okay?

Grace: I put on two kilos Abby. I want to lose weight so I can have the perfect body.

Abby: You're fine Grace.

Grace: I will be now that I have this. *shows Abby a bottle of tea tree oil*

Abby: Why are you showing me a bottle of tea tree oil?

Grace: I found the perfect way to lose weight and that's what I'm doing.

Abby: But that's dangerous.

Grace: Who are you? My mother! If I want to lose weight, that's what I intend to do. And if that means drinking heaps of tea tree oil, then so be it. *walks out of the bathroom*

*Abby looks defeated*

Abby: *thinking to herself* This girl needs some serious help. I just wish I could help her.

That afternoon, Gloria arrives home from school to see Tracey packing her things in Jacob's Holden Kingswood.

Gloria: Decided to move in with Jacob have we?

Tracey: Shut up Gloria.

Gloria: I could always give you my car to drive, but....

Tracey: I don't have my L's.

Gloria: I just want you to know that I'm going to miss you Tracey. I just wish that you would come to Bomaderry with us.

Tracey: You know Gloria? Save it! When I first moved here, I thought you were a nice girl. But ever since Jacob asked me out to the disco, you've been nothing but a complete bitch to me! The only reason you want me to move to Bomaderry is because you'll get what you want!

Gloria: And what's that?

Tracey: Janae, Sabrina and Jacob are out of our lives forever! That's what!

Gloria: I was just mad. Tracey, can't we work this out?

*Tracey gets in the back seat of the car*

Tracey: No. Former foster sister. Enjoy your life Gloria because I'm not in it anymore. I'll always love your parent, but as for you I'm SO over your childish s***! You need to learn how to grow the hell up!!!

Gloria: Tracey...

Tracey: Goodbye Gloria! It was nice knowing you...NOT!!!

*Jacob's car leaves the street as Gloria collapses on the ground sobbing*

Gloria: Tracey! I'm so sorry! I just hope someday you forgive me!

Episode 20

The next day is Saturday. Tracey is asleep in her new bedroom which happens to be Jacob's apartment. She feels something brush against her cheek which wakes her up.

Jacob: Good morning bestie.

Tracey: Morning. *sees the red rose that was brushing against her cheek* What time is it?

Jacob: 9:30am.

Tracey: Gosh. I don't know what we've got planned for today. But I really want to go to the motor registry to see if I can go for my L's

Jacob: I was thinking of taking you out to lunch at Corrimal.

Tracey: We could do that.

Jacob: Why do you want your L's bestie?

Tracey: I want my own car.

Jacob: Sounds nice.

*they kiss*

Tracey: I wonder what the others are doing today.

Jacob: Who knows. I know Pete's spending the day with Lilly.

Tracey: Oooh. Sounds nice.

*Jacob and Tracey look at each other and laugh*

At Janae's house, she's getting into another full blown arguement with her mother.

Sarah: YOU ARE NOT LEAVING THE HOUSE TODAY JANAE!!! YOUR COUSIN SANDRA IS COMING!!!

Janae: I CAN'T STAND THAT HORRIBLE BITCH!!!! BESIDES, I'VE GOT PLANS WITH SABRINA!!!!

Sarah: IS SEEING YOUR FRIENDS MORE IMPORTANT THAN SEEING YOUR COUSIN?!?

Janae: IF IT'S AUNTY KIM'S CHILDREN, THEN YES!!!!

Sarah: SANDRA IS TRYING TO MAKE AN EFFORT!!! THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS STAY AT HOME AND TALK TO HER!!!

Janae: HELL WILL FREEZE OVER BEFORE I TALK TO MISS PRISS AND HER WICKED MOTHER!!!! *storms out of the house*

Sarah: JANAE ROSE!!!! *slams the front door and sighs in frustration*

At Stockland Shellharbour, Peter is hanging out with Lilly.

Peter: So why were you bullied at your previous school?

Lilly: Cause I was different to everyone else. You see, I have a learning disability called dyslexia. You heard of it?

Peter: Yeah I have.

Lilly: Well, the people in my year at Bulli High would call me "stupid" or "Mr Squiggle's girlfriend" cause of the way I write.

Peter: Is anyone giving you a hard time at our school?

Lilly: Not really. They've all been so supportive.

Peter: That's good to hear Lilly.

Lilly: What are you doing tonight?

Peter: Nothing much. You?

Lilly: I'm going to stay home and watch a movie.

Peter: About your dyslexia....

Lilly: What?

Peter: Have you thought about getting a tutor to help you with your school work?

Lilly: Mum and Dad can't afford one.

Peter: That sucks.

Lilly: I know. Could you...help me?

Peter: I'd be more than happy to help you with your school work. *smiles*

*Lilly gives Peter a huge hug*

That night, Brooke is getting ready to go to Tyra Bradshaw's party. Her and Sabrina are waiting for Cam to arrive home from the gym so she can take them to Tyra's house in Unanderra.

Brooke: I can't wait for tonight.

Sabrina: Me too. Oh and I told Tyra to be nice to you.

Brooke: She seems like a nice girl.

Sabrina: Well she better behave herself! Just because she's 19 doesn't give her the right to act like a hoodlum.

Brooke: And how old are you?

Sabrina: 16. Tyra is one of those girls that gets out of control FAR too many times. She's got a record.

Brooke: A record?

Sabrina: A criminal record. Last September, the police caught her going over the speed limit at Cordeaux Heights and you know what she did? She kicked one of the officers in the leg!

Brooke: Gosh! What happened after that?

Sabrina: They arrested her and she ended up losing her licence for six months.

Brooke: She must be one feral girl.

Sabrina: You don't say.

*They see Cam's car pull into the driveway*

Cam: You girls ready to go?

Brooke/Sabrina: Absolutely.

*The girls get into the car and Cam reverses out of the driveway to take them to the party*

Over at Jacob's apartment, he and Tracey are cooking dinner when they hear the door knock.

Tracey: Who could that be? *opens the door to find Janae standing there* Oh hey bestie.

Janae: Hey. Can I come in?

Tracey: Of course. You are more than welcome to come in.

Janae: Hey Jacob.

Jacob: Sup Janae! *to Tracey* So, do you want to tell Janae the good news?

Janae: What good news?

Tracey: I've officially got my L's! *shows Janae her new drivers licence*

Janae: THAT is amazing bestie! Well done! *hugs Tracey*

Jacob: What did you get up to today Janae?

Janae: Went to Warrawong Westfield with Sabrina. The security guard threw this guy out for stealing out of Kmart!

Tracey: Did you laugh?

Janae: You bet we did! *laughs*

Jacob: Would you like to stay for dinner?

Janae: If that's okay. What are we having?

Jacob: Fish and chips.

Janae: Delicious! I might stay actually. *smiles*

*Tracey and Jacob smile back*

At Tyra's house, the party is going in full swing. However, Brooke doesn't seem to enjoy herself. No one (except for Sabrina) has spoken to her since they arrived at the party at 7:00pm. It is now 9:30pm.

Tyra: Hey Brooke! Why don't you come join me and my wonderful friends in the living room?

Brooke: Sure.

Tyra: JOKES!!!! Why would I want a wuss to come socialise with my friends? All you've done is just sit in your wheelchair for most of the night.

*Sabrina hears this as she comes out of the bathroom*

Sabrina: Tyra!

Tyra: Oh hey cuz. You enjoying yourself?

Sabrina: Cut Brooke some slack. She's never been to one of these parties before.

Tyra: I can't help that she's such a wuss!

*Tyra and her friends laugh*

Brooke: *on the verge of an anxiety attack* Excuse me. *wheels her way out of the house*

Tyra: I hope I didn't make her cry. *laughs*

*Sabrina storms over to Tyra and slaps her*

Sabrina: YOU PIECE OF S***!!! *goes after Brooke*

Tyra: I was only mucking around Sabrina. Lighten up!

(Outside, Brooke is more or less in tears.)

Sabrina: Brooke?

Brooke: I want to go home now.

*Sabrina puts her arms around Brooke*

Sabrina: Don't cry Brooke. I'm sorry that I've ruined your evening.

*Brooke just shakes her head and sobs*

Sabrina: I'll phone Cam right now to pick us up.

*Sabrina dials Cam's number while Brooke sobs her heart out*

When they arrive home, Brooke decides to pack her suitcase just as Cam tries to comfort her.

Brooke: *crying* I want to go home.

Cam: But you've got two more weeks left.

Brooke: I can't stay here anymore. My confidence is shattered thanks to Tyra!

Cam: If you really want to go home Brooke, I can't stop you. *looks at Brooke sympathetically*

Brooke: I do.

*Cam goes over to the phone and calls Brooke's mother*

Cam: Hello Aunty Pam? I know it's late, but I need you to come over right away. Brooke wants to come home. I'll explain the details when you get here. *looks sad*
