Why is Lucinda ignored in Home and Away lore?

Haha I forgot about this thread, it was me who started it. Yes I remembered Lou as being a good character but having seen the Early Years again this year it's clear she wasn't as good as I thought.

I still think she was a good character when she arrived, with the tomboy element and strong independent streak, but she has now got completely bogged down in the Nick/Ryan saga and it's just ruined any potential her character has. The storyline has went round and round in circles for months. I remembered it being more of a full on affair between Ryan and Lucinda that went on behind Nick's back, but it's mainly just been Lucinda deliberating and changing her mind every episode which has been really boring. She hasn't really got strong ties to other characters beside Donald, even Sophie doesn't have much to do with her despite them initially having a strong connection, which means she rarely has any scenes in other storylines apart from her own Nick/Ryan stuff. They have basically taken a good idea for a character and made her very forgettable.

It's interesting watching her character now after I said I had forgotten who she was/what she was about. Now I know why... I just find her quite boring. I like the actress and I do like the dynamic at Fisher's house with Nick, Lucinda, Shane and Fisher all living together, but I've never been interested in those sort of will she/wont she storylines so I've just found it all pretty bland and repetitive.
