The truck driver was driving under the influence. Charlie was shocked to find the victim was Darcy. She was dead. Charlie was not looking forward to telling Heath his daughter was dead. Charlie’s phone rung. “Hello?” Charlie asked “Charlie have you seen Darcy?” Brax asked “Yes” Charlie responded “Where is she?” Brax asked “Dead” Charlie Responded “WHAT?” Brax asked “Drunk driver ran a red light” Charlie responded “Are you sure it’s Darcy?” Brax asked “Yes” Charlie responded “She was so young” Brax said “I know don’t tell Heath I’m on my way over now” Charlie responded Charlie got into her car and drove to Heath’s house. She knocked on the door. Heath opened the door he was holding Melanie “Sergeant “Heath said “Heath I’m afraid I have some bad news” Charlie said “Have you found Darcy?” Heath asked “Yes Dead a truck driver ran a red light and Darcy was in the blue car we found on the scene” Charlie responded By then Heath was crying. He stood up. “Can you take her please?” Heath asked “Sure” Charlie Responded “When Melanie was born Darcy said if anything happened to her she wanted me to look after her” Heath said “I understand” Charlie responded Charlie was not looking forwarded to telling Ruby and Claire. Charlie left Heath to it. She got back into her car. Ruby was waiting for her at home. “What’s wrong?” Ruby asked “Come into the kitchen” Charlie said Claire and Hayden turned to leave. “You too” Charlie said All three girls followed Charlie into the kitchen. “Mum what’s wrong?” Claire asked “Darcy’s dead” Charlie responded “What?” Hayden asked “Drunk driver run a red light” Charlie responded Claire and Hayden excused themselves. The both went to the bathroom. Hayden threw up in the downstairs bathroom and Claire threw up in the bathroom upstairs. Guest Posted October 30, 2011 Report Share Posted October 30, 2011 Thanks for the comments I didn't want to kill Darcy off but I wanted Heath to have another shoot at being a father figure here is the next chapter Chapter 5 Heath Braxton was organizing Darcy’s funeral. Charlie and Brax we’re watching Melanie for the day. “Poor Child” Heath thought He was still trying to organize Darcy’s funeral when there was a knock on the door. Heath opened the door on the other side of the door was Bianca. “I’m sorry about Darcy” Bianca said Heath fell into her arms. “Poor Melanie will grow up without a mother” Heath sobbed “There There” Bianca said Looks like you’re trying to organize her funeral Heath nodded “No parent should have to bury their own child’ Bianca said “I always thought she would bury me not the other way around” Heath said “Where’s Melanie?” Bianca asked “Brax and Charlie are looking after her” Heath responded “Oh well if you want I can help you organize Darcy’s funeral” Bianca said “Yes that would be nice” Heath responded “When is the funeral anyways?” Bianca asked “Tomorrow” Heath responded Heath and Bianca finished organizing Darcy’s funeral. The next day Claire Braxton found her best Black dress she didn’t want to believe Darcy was dead. An hour away Hayden Braxton was doing the same thing. Everyone arrived at Darcy’s funeral. “Thank you for coming everyone’ Heath said The priest started the service. “A young soul Taken from us to young may she rest in peace” the priest said Claire and Hayden we’re crying. 2 years later. Claire and Hayden Braxton did not want to admit that Darcy was dead to anyway but they somehow knew that everyone knew. It’s been a year since Darcy died. No one would ever forget her or would they want too. Heath was doing the best he could to raise Melanie. He never got to raise Darcy. There was a knock on the door. “Hello Brax” Heath said “Hey” Brax responded “Can you come out?” Brax asked “I have a baby to look after” Heath responded “Bring her I’m sure Claire or Hayden would be happy to babysit” Brax responded Heath thought about it. “Well okay” Heath said “No funny business” Brax said Heath laughed Brax smiled Heath hadn’t laughed since Darcy died. Heath kept checking on Melanie. “Don’t’ worry she’ll be fine” Brax said “I’m worried about her she’ll never know her mum” Heath responded “She’ll be fine” Brax said “All her friends will have mum’s and Claire and Hayden have a mum but not Melanie” Heath responded “Stop worrying about her and come have some fun she’ll be fine with Claire” Brax responded Heath sighed and when Brax walked off she let down and kissed Melanie Heath then walked away to join Brax and Casey. “Wow Ruby’s looking good” Heath told Casey “Yeah she’s pregnant again with twins” Casey responded “Wow congrats have you picked out any names yet?” Heath asked “Well if their girls Lindsey and Jess “Casey responded Heath saw Claire walking towards them he slipped away before Brax could notice “What’s wrong?” Heath asked “I can’t seem to get Melanie to settle” Claire responded “Maybe she needs changing I’ll do it just distract your dad “Heath responded Claire walked towards her dad “Hi Honey where’s Heath?” Brax asked “Baby drama” Claire responded “Oh is everything okay?” Brax asked “Yeah Heath thinks Melanie might need her nappy changed” Claire responded “Why can’t you do it?” Brax asked “Eww I don’t like to get dirty” Claire responded Claire saw Heath heading towards them “All good?” Claire asked “Yep” Heath responded “Well I better get back” Claire said Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
