Claire knew it was a bad idea to run away with Hayden. Her mother Charlie was at work and her father Brax was also at work her older sister Ruby was looking after her. Claire suddenly realized she had to pee. “Ruby” Claire called “Coming” Ruby said Ruby took the stairs two at a time. “Yes?” Ruby asked “I have to pee” Claire responded Ruby helped Claire into the bathroom and waited till she was done. After Ruby helped Claire back into bed. “Do you need anything?” Ruby asked “I am a bit bored maybe some DVDS” Claire responded “Okay which one’s?” Ruby asked “Do you even have to ask?” Claire responded “Oh the first three twilight DVDS be right back “Ruby responded Ruby shoot down the stairs “Here they are” Ruby said She put the first Twilight movie into the DVD player and hit play. “Do you need anything else?” Ruby asked “Maybe some popcorn” Claire responded Ruby went downstairs and makes Claire some popcorn “I really hope Hayden doesn’t injure herself badly “Ruby thought It was hard enough helping her troubled 15 year old sister it would be harder to help her own troubled 14 year old daughter. Ruby took the popcorn up to Claire and a can of Pepsi Max “Thanks do you want to watch?” Claire asked “Nah better not I have to get Hayden from school won’t be long” Ruby said “Okay” Claire responded Claire knew it wasn’t Hayden’s fault that her gotcha had gone wrong. Ruby pulled up in front of Summer Bay High and waited for Hayden. Hayden saw her mother and got into the car. “This is so embarrassing” Hayden told Ruby “Sorry but after what you did this is your punishment” Ruby responded “Wait this isn’t the way home” Hayden said “I know I’m looking after Claire today” Ruby responded “Oh what was she doing when you left?” Hayden asked “Watching Twilight” Ruby responded As soon as they got to Charlie’s Hayden went straight up to Claire’s room. Claire wasn’t sure if Ruby was still here or her Mum. “Ruby” Claire called out When there was not response “Mum” Claire called out Charlie ran up the stairs. “Are you okay?” Charlie asked “Yes I wasn’t sure if Ruby and Hayden went home” Claire responded “Yeah they did but you’ll see Hayden at school tomorrow” Charlie responded Claire sat up “Wait I can go back to school tomorrow?” Claire asked “Yes” Charlie Responded “Do you have to drop me off?” Claire asked “Afraid so and Ruby will pick you up” Charlie responded Claire sighed “I’m sorry but Ruby had to punish Hayden and as your mother I have to do the same thing” Charlie said Claire nodded “I’m hungry” Claire said “Dinner will be ready soon” Charlie responded “Can I eat with you and Dad?” Claire asked “If you can manage the stairs” Charlie responded “I’d like to try” Claire responded “Okay would you like me to help you?” Charlie asked “Yes please Mum” Claire responded Charlie helped Claire down the stairs. “Here she is” Brax said Claire smiled “Hi Daddy” Claire said Charlie helped Claire to the kitchen table “Here you are” Charlie said Claire started eating. “Are you scared of going back to school tomorrow?” Brax asked “No” Claire responded Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Claire was afraid but she carefully climbed out of bed and went down the satirs slowly. “Moring” Charlie said “Moring Mum Morning Dad” Claire Responded “Are you excited about going back to school?” Brax asked Claire yawned “No but it’s better then sitting around here” Claire responded “Hurry up and get ready if you want me to drop you off if you’re not ready by 8 then Brax will have to drop you off” Charlie said Claire got a bowl of cereal and some juice and sat down to eat. When she was done she went upstairs to get ready for school she frowned at her school uniform but put it on anyways. “Daddy” Claire called Brax took the stairs two at a time “What is it darling?” Brax asked “I need help putting my shoes on” Claire responded Brax helped Claire put her shoes on. Claire looked at the clock “Has mum left yet?” Claire asked “No but she is leaving soon so you better hurry” Brax responded Claire quickly brushed her hair and then brushed her teeth. Before she left her room she got her school bag Then she took the stairs two at a time “I’m ready Mum” Claire said “Okay let’s go” Charlie said It didn’t take long for them to get to school. Claire got out. “See you when I get home” Charlie said “Yep I’m going home with Ruby and Hayden I know” Claire responded The bell rung if Claire didn’t hurry she’d be late. Claire rushed off .
