They really mean a lot and I hope you enjoy this next chapter x ”Bianca up time to work” April bounced into the room cheerily. ”I’m gonna be sick” Bianca sat upright and rushed out of the bed, straight past April and straight into the toilet. April could hear the retching sounds from the toilet and grimaced. Sighing, she went and poured her sister a glass of water. Bianca drank it gratefully, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. ”Damn baby” she tried to joke as she held out her hand to April who helped her up. ”Are you sure you should be going into work?” April studied Bianca’s body language as Bianca laughed it on. ”We need the money” ”We could always ask mum” ”I’d rather stick pins in my own eyes April. We’ve been doing fine the last year and I intend to keep living that way” ”Fine” April saw how stubborn her sister was. ”I’m going to the diner but I’ll see you at school yeah?” ”Yeah yeah” Bianca groaned as she turned her head and threw up into the toilet once more. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ”Oh eh hi Ruby erm I was just wondering if Casey was here?” Brax scratched his head and tried to hide the fact he was really here to see Charlie. Ruby saw the look of surprise on his face when she answered the door, and knew that he wasn’t expecting her to be here. ”No but mum is. Charlie your boyfriends here” Brax glanced at Ruby. ”Come again?” he asked to make sure he’d heard correctly. ”She told me last night” Ruby grinned excitedly. ”Don’t hurt her yeah?” ”Trust me Rubes I have no plans to” Brax grinned as Charlie came and stood next to Ruby. He wrapped an arm round her waist annd pulled her closer, their lips touching as they got closer. ”Sorry Rubes, you have no idea how good that feels” Brax grinned not taking his eyes off Charlie. ”And you have no idea how gross that is for this time of the day”[/i[ Ruby shuddered as she kissed her mum on the cheek. ”Bye have fun guys!” she left them to it. Brax took Charlie’s hand and led her to the living room. ”So you told Rubes?” ”Better me than Roman” Charlie smiled. ”And we should probably tell Heath unless...unless you want to end it” ”I don’t want to end it, do you?” Brax asked fearful that Charlie would say yes. Charlie shook her head, much to Brax’s relief, but had a worried look upon her face. ”Our whole worlds going to be turned upside down, we’re going to need each other now more than ever Brax” she bit her lip nervously as Brax squeezed her hand. ”Yeah there’ll be repercussions but wouldn’t you rather that than living a lie?” ”I could lose my job” ”You’ve done nothing wrong Charlie” ”Except fall in love yeah?” Charlie sighed. ”Why did Roman have to come back?” ”Sooner or later everyone would have found out Charlie, nothing stays a secret in this place” ”Speaking of secrets, there’s something I should tell you about Bianca” Charlie remembered her friends pregnancy. ”Huh?” Brax wondered. In fairness he liked Bianca he just didn’t know her well enough to be hearing secrets about her. ”She’s pregnant” ”What?” Brax gasped. ”It could be Heath’s” ”Or the guy who raped her” Charlie pointed out the other option. Brax nodded. ”Poor girl” he sympathised. ”She went and told Heath yesterday, he said he’d stick by her no matter what” ”You sure she visited the right person?” Brax joked. ”I know, that’s why I was thinking that we could go tell Heath about us before he gets out of hospital and someone else tells him” ”You sure?” ”No” Charlie admitted honestly. ”But like you said we can’t avoid it forever” ”No we can’t so we’ll go see him...now?” Brax asked. Charlie shook her head. ”Bianca said she’d come with us, I think he was still in shock about hearing she was pregnant” ”Yeah well she might calm him down a bit eh? I’m not exactly his favourite person at the moment, and you were never exactly his favourite person” ”I know Brax, but it’s either we face the music ourselves or be forced to. And I know which one I’d go for” ”Yeah me too”[/i[ Brax smiled taking hold of his girlfriends hand. ”But nothing’s going to keep you and me apart” ”No, nothing will” Charlie grinned as she gazed into his eyes. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile Bianca had ran out of the language class for the third time in a lesson. Three times Miles had seen her rush past his classroom door in an absolute hurry. The fourth time it happened, Miles waited for her on the corridor. ”Bianca” he called out as Bianca put a hand over her mouth. ”Can’t really chat Miles going to throw up” ”You sure you don’t want to go home? It might be a 24 hour thing and I’m sure we could get someone to cover for you” ”A day in bed isn’t going to help things” Bianca sighed. ”I’m pregnant” ”Wait what?” Miles’s eyes widened in shocked. ”You sure?” ”Well two tests and a trip to the doctors pretty much confirmed it” Bianca sighed once more. ”And I really need the money for maternity clothes and hospital bills” ”Not to mention the baby when it comes” Miles butted in. Bianca bowed her head. ”Bianca?” Miles noticed the change in his friends attitude. ”I don’t think I’m keeping it” she smiled weakly. ”I can’t be a mum to a baby I never wanted in the first place” ”You might surprise yourself Bianca, you might not love that baby but that baby loves you even now although you can’t see it, he or she’s trying to bond with you” ”You sound like Charlie” Bianca muttered. ”You and Charlie have a lot in common, your past and she’s a mum and you’re pregnant. The friendship you guys have is rare and the girl gives good advice” Miles was interrupted by the retching sounds once more. He helped Bianca into the bathroom and held back her hair as she threw up. Morning sickness definitely sucked. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ”Okay okay Brax we need to go. I said I’d meet Bianca in the Diner” Charlie squealed as her boyfriend kissed her neck. ”Ten minutes” Brax pleaded. ”No” Charlie fiercely replied. ”Ten minutes turns into so much more in such a little time...we need to go see Heath” ”Right” Brax sighed. ”I’ll meet you guys at the hospital” ”Yeah okay” Charlie smiled as the pair went their separate ways. Sighing she glanced in the direction she was about to take and set off. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ”It’s absolutely scandalous” Bianca heard the familiar roars of Colleen Smart coming from the kitchen of the Diner. ”What’s absolutely scandalous” Irene sighed sadly, desperate to escape the heat and Colleen’s muttering. Her eyes widened when she saw Bianca. ”Hey lovey how was work? What can I get you?” ”Work was fine, except I threw up every five minutes and nothing I’m just waiting for Charlie” she smiled. Colleen came through at the mention of Charlie’s name. ”Are you waiting for Sergeant Buckton?” she asked stupidly. ”Well last time I checked she was called Charlie, she didn’t have a name change or anything did she?” Bianca replied sarcastically noticing Irene roll her eyes. Colleen paid no notice. ”It’s absolutely scandalous” she roared once more. ”Jesus Colleen, what’s absolutely scandalous this time?” ”Our trusted Sergeant has been cavorting with Mr Darryl Braxton” Colleen grinned gleefully. ”I’ve seen it with me own eyes!” ”Come on you know Charlie’s not like that, besides I’m sure Bianca would have known” Irene glanced at Bianca who shifted about uncomfortably desperate to avoid any eye contact. She was terrible at lying, always was. ”Bianca?” ”Yep?” Bianca gazed down at the floor. Irene clasped her hands over her mouth. ”It’s true isn’t it?” Irene sighed. ”Charlie and Brax?” ”How the hell do you know that?” Bianca snapped at Colleen who looked taken aback with fright. ”I erm...I erm” Colleen whimpered. ”Leah is that you? I need to go help Leah in the kitchen” Colleen got ready to leave but Irene kept a hand on her shoulder. ”Colleen, Leah’s at the dentist with VJ” Irene sighed. ”I can’t believe Charlie would do something like this” ”You can’t believe Charlie would do something like what?” Charlie appeared next to where the three women stood. Colleen got ready to open her mouth and tell her exactly what she was thinking but Irene glared at her. ”Charlie can we talk in the car please” Bianca grabbed her best friends hand and pulled her outside to fill her in. Irene turned to Colleen. ”Now you, I don’t care how you found out or that you told me and Bianca but if you do so much as say another word for the rest of your shift then I won’t be held responsible for my actions” Irene glared as she returned to work, thinking of the mess the poor girl had gotten herself into. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ”They know” ”They know what?” Charlie laughed. ”About you and Brax idiot!” Bianca scolded her best friend who gasped. ”What?!?!?! How the hell...?” At that moment Roman walked by the two girls. He smiled smugly at Charlie after ear wigging on the girls conversation. Charlie caught on. Sighing she turned away – she wasn’t ready to face the music just yet.

"Everybody's talking about us" she shrieked. "Colleen's heard, by the time we get back the whole town will know!" "Hey calm down sooner or later the truth was bound to come out so let's just tell Heath then deal with the rest later" "I'm going to lose my job!" she wailed as Brax took her hands. "What for?" he gazed into her eyes for an answer. "We've done nothing wrong" he grasped her hands tighter and kissed her on the cheek. "Come on" he pulled her in the direction of Heath's hospital room. "He'll be out tomorrow better we tell him now than him find out from Collen eh? Or Roman?" "I know but..." Charlie began letting go of his hands. "In fact come on let's do this" Bianca came up behind them afte re-appearing from the bathroom. "Babies suck" she wailed wiping her mouth even though she'd checked there was no sick there. "They're worth it" Charlie smiled taking hold of Bianca's hands. "Not this again" Bianca groaned. "Charlie I don't want to think about it" "Okay" Charlie smiled. "But we will have to someday" "Yeah don't remind me" Bianca rolled her eyes as she walked through the door to see Heath lay upright reading a magazine. "Heath" she smiled. "Bianca" he said eagerly adjusting his body so that he sat even further upright. She was closely followed in by Charlie and Brax. Heath glared. "Great my traitor of a brother and his copper girlfriend" Heath glared. "Wait what?" Brax turned to Heath as Charlie gaped. "You knew? "Course I knew. Jesus do you think I'm blind or something?" Heath snapped. "The googley eyes you make at each other are sickening" "Well then why the hell didn't you say anything?" Brax demanded to know an answer. "Because we're brothers. And I'd never sell you out even if you did to me. And even if you are sleeping with a cop" he glared at Charlie."G'day Buckton" "Heath" Charlie nodded in reply. "So I'm assuming that's what you two look so sheepish about. You've come to tell me what I already knew" Charlie bit her lip. Brax nodded. "Well good you can go now then" "Heath" Bianca warned sitting down beside them. "Don't be like that, Brax did nothing wrong" "He put me in here!" Heath sulked just looking at Bianca. "He really thought you did it though" Bianca bit her lip. "Even I doubted you but we all know you're not that guy" "Well thanks for the support. I know she thinks I did it" he glared at Charlie. "I don't...anymore" "Yeah now that them results cleared me" He turned his back to them. "So what are we never gonna speak again?" Brax rose his voice at his brother. "Because we live in the same house and Case..." "Is that all you care about? Precious Casey?" Heath snapped. "He's not a riverboy much prefers to hang about with little Buckton" "Little Buckton? Wow that isn't offensive at all" Charlie interrupted. "Heath I'm sorry man" Brax begged for his forgiveness."Roman's back and I need help with him and Tegan" "Not my responsibility. Not my fault you find a toy to play with then go running back to her and Darce" he smiled smugly. "Charlie's not a toy" he defended her but Heath smiled in return. "Wow you really got him Buckton. Congratulations" he sarkily replied nodding towards the door. "I don't want you here, but that doesn't mean I won't talk in the future. Just go off and play happy families with Buckton and little buckton and your precious Case" he glared as Brax took Charlie's hand. "I've apologised numerous times for this and you didn't dob me into the boys about Charlie yet you won't help me now?" "Brax" Charlie began he hand grasping tighter into his. "Maybe we should just go" "For once the cop speaks sense" Heath smugly replied. "Shut the door on your way out" Brax stormed out of the room, leaving Charlie to say her goodbyes to Bianca as she followed him. Once Heath and Bianca were left alone he smiled, this time showing warmth and sincerity. "So you knew? About Charlie and Brax?" "Yeah I knew he was with someone from the bay then the way Buckton and him sent each other the lovey-dovey eyes. It was kinda obvious" he shrugged. "I've known that long I'm not even angry" "Woah Heath Braxton keeping a secret, never thought I'd see the day" Bianca smiled. "There's a lot you don't know about me Miss Scott, I'd do anything to protect Brax and Casey" "I can see that" she smiled clasping her palms together. "So hows the baby?" He asked raising his eyes. "Have you thought anymore on what you're going to do?" Heath enquired raising his eye-brows as Bianca shook her head. "I don't think I can be a mum but everyone else will hate me if I give it up" "I won't" "But what if it's your baby?" she asked. "I don't know Bianca. I know this isn't what you'd be expecting of me but I wouldn't care whether it was mine or not. I'd love it and I'd look after it, plus you'd be an awesome mum" "I just can't make a decision yet" she admitted. "I try but I think it would be best that I wait until I'm on a clearer frame of mind" "Okay and ermm...erm what about us?" "What about us?" she raised her eyebrows again. "I'm just not clear on where I stand with you" "I don't know what I want yet. Things have been so crazy recently" "I know that I don't expect you to be fully commited to a relationship at the moment but I really like you" he smiled taking her hand. "I really really like you" Bianca blushed, boing her head as the corners of her mouth formed into a cheeky smile. Heath let out an awkward laugh. "Hey I better go" Bianca stood up from the seat letting go of his hand and walking towards the door. "But we'll talk properly. Soon" she smiled walking out the door her head in cloud nine...
