She needs to put her children's safety first. I must admit, I loved it at the start. ‘Mama!’ Mia ran in. Maybe it's because of my immature sense of humour but I instantly thought, Mamma Mia! I'm loving this fic, good on Nicole for standing her ground and protecting the kids, but I don feel bad for them as they don't really know what is going on. Yey that Roo and Roman are back together. She had Angelo’s eyes, and it physically hurt Nicole to see her looking sad but she didn’t waver. Another incredibly powerful line there. Rob’s face lit up and he ran up the stairs. ‘Don’t run!’ Nicole called up but Rob didn’t stop. Nicole shook her head and got up off the sofa. ‘Do you want a drink Dad?’ I love Nicole's "Don't run" because it's so motherly! <3 She nodded and then started to cry. Roman hugged her. ‘He is not worth the tears. She spoke through the tears; ‘This is going to tear the children apart, Dad, I don’t want to hurt them.’ Roman sighed and hugged her closer ‘they will get over it, Angelo is a b*st*rd who hurt you’ Roman swore!!! LOL. So sad for Nicole, given how much she doesn't want to put the children through this and yet, ironically, is doing this for them. ‘I am sorry, Angelo just told me the truth’ Roo said as her barriers broke and she started to cry. Roman didn’t even think, he just walked up to her and held her. He whispered into her hair ‘It’s okay, don’t worry, you are not alone’ Awww! Roo and Roman!! Roo breathed in and said ‘What about us?’ Roman sighed and sat next to her ‘I don’t know, do you want there to be an us?’ Roo nodded. ‘I never wanted us to split up in the first place’ Bless! ‘Can’t sleep, I want Daddy’ Bless Rob!!! I know it's probably second nature to them now, but it still makes me smile so much to hear Rob call Angelo his father, likewise when Angelo refers to both the children as his. (Even if Angelo kinda messed up right now.) ‘I miss him’ Rob sniffed and clutched at his teddy. N'aww! Rob!!! Another rather powerful chapter there, Zetti. I'm also not surprised Nic is applying for custody. Kinda think that finalises the end of their relationship though, since I don't think she'd make such a drastic decision if she thought there was a possibility she'd reunite with Angelo.
