Speaking to Holy Soap, Frances said that she "hates" having to leave Summer Bay. She explained: "I want to be there all the time - a) It's satisfying; b) It's very complimentary to be kept asking to come back, but why do they let you go when she's such a strong character and everybody likes Morag? "Of course I'd like to stay, and I don't like coming and going. Nobody does; it's very unsettling." The actress added: "Whenever they ask me back, it's a compliment. But she's a very strong character, and maybe it's hard to write for [her] all of the time, but I'd like to be there all of the time. "I'd love to be a stayer." From DS. Why haven't they made her permanent? Morons.

That was a fantastic interview, I really respect Cornelia's professionalism and opinion of Morag, she knows the character so well. The producers really NEED to keep the character, she is one of my favorites and complete asset to the show. I was always under the impression it was Cornelia's choice to come and go - Morag is a character for keeps, I dont know what they are thinking.

And good to know (although not mentioned by name) Morag still dislikes Celia, at least according to Cornelia. We really need to see her back onscreen sometime too. It's also really interesting that although she enjoys playing the bitch, Cornelia thinks Morag deserves to be unhappy as payment for all the things she's done.
