Chapter 1

Ruby jogged back to the surface of the beach with her board. Her surfing skills were great. Since her and Casey had started dating things were going better then planned for her.

"Your getting better every minute" yelled Casey from behind.

"I am arn't I," Ruby chuckled.

Casey went up to Ruby and kissed her gentley on the lips. It had been 3 weeks since Ruby and Casey had started dating, over them 3 weeks Ruby's life, and also Casey's, had changed for the better. Casey had learnt to stand up to his older brothers and be himself and Ruby had gotten over all her teenage dramas. Somehow, them being together was destiny.

"Hey Ruby, Casey," smiled April as she walked down the beach to her two friends, Dex alongside her.

"Hey!" Ruby replied.

Ruby smiled at April and Dex. April and Dex were the newest Summer Bay couple, only been together for 5 days, but everyone knew, and thought, they were perfect together, the two perfectly un-normal teenagers of Summer Bay. Most people called them that as a joke, they also took it as a joke because they decided what's done is done and they can't change it.

"How's Ruby's surfing? Still falling off the board?" laughed Dex.

"Haha. Very funny Dex!" Ruby said sarcasticly and smiled.

"Hm, yeah? I thought you fell off that's why your up here?" April joind in on the fun.

"Well, actually.." Ruby said but then Casey butted in.

"She is doing amazing." Casey smiled at Ruby. "Not one fall in the past week."

April and Dex looked at each other and laughed.

"Hey!" Ruby nudged April and Dex. "Bet you couldn't do any better!"

"Well, uhh.. hmm" Dex didn't have an answer for once.

"Yeah, see!" Ruby laughed, then they all joined in with her.

The connection between the group of friends was strong. 4 weeks ago their lives were far from perfect, now they were all in reach of ultimate perfection by just being together.

"So, to the Diner?" April asked.

"Yup!" replied the others.

They trudged in the the sand up to the Diner in their couples.

The four of them sat down at a table and began talking about everything and anything possible. As they were talking a group of three people walked by, consisting of Romeo, Indi and Xavier. Casey and Ruby were first to notice their present and were greeted with an unpolite look from the 3 other teens. Ruby started to stand up but Casey pushed her back down.

"Don't worry about them," he whispered to her.

Romeo, Indi and Xavier walked past and didn't look back as they went as far away as possible from the others.

"Why do they hate us so much?" asked April.

"Were to good for them," Dex joked.

The others laughed.

"No, but seriously.. we didn't do to much wrong.. I don't think," April returned the seriousness back into the matter.

"Yeah, they just can't let it go," Casey replied. "I guess they arn't forgiving people."

"Well, what Ruby did was pretty big.. Actually why did Indi forgive Romeo? I can't understand that," Dex said.

"Hey! I was under the impression he was my soulmate! I had very good reasons.." Ruby defended herself.

"You still should of known better though, he was still going out with Indi," Casey replied.

"Oi. Your ment to be standing up for me!" Ruby laughed.

April's presence in the conversation wasn' there. She was to busy daydreaming. Then all of a sudden she put her thoughts into words.

"How do you live with Indi?" She asked Dex.

"Well, that is a good question!" Dex replied. "How do I live with Indi.. how do I..." He trailed off. "I have no clue!" He answered.

Everyone laughed at Dex's response. He was the clown of the group, the clown of the whole Summer Bay actually. He was always making people laugh even if he didn't intend too.

"So, I better be off. Irene might need my help for dinner or something," April said still laughing from what Dex said.

"Ok, see you tommorrow then?" Dex asked.

"Yeah," April replied then leaned in to kiss Dex.

Ruby and Casey smiled at each other.

"See you, April," They both said as April walked off out of the Diner.

"Well then, I better be off too. Dad may be getting worried and by looks Indi is still here so I better get home before her."

They all laughed.

"Yeah, she may kill you when you walk through the door," laughed Ruby.

"Hopefully not!" Dex's face scrunched up.

Dex peacefully walked along the beach on his way home. The waves silently brushed up against each other. The sand was soft and velvet like. But then he heard a voice calling him.

"Dex!" yelled the female voice. "Dex!!"

Dex swung around to see his sister not far behind. He wondered what she wanted but his insticts told him to run.

"Wait! Dex, come back!" Indi yelled.

Indi swiftly ran after him, she was much faster and quickly caught up. She grabbed his shirt which made Dex come to a halt.

"Dex, why run from me? You think i'm going to kill you or something?"

"Well.. Acutually.." he replied.

"Fine, don't answer that." she groaned. "Look, I need to talk to you."

Thank you for reading :) I will update with next chapter soon!

Chapter 2

Dex's faced turned confused. He was unsure how to react. What in the world would his sister want to talk about with him after all that has happened over the last month.

"About what?" Dex asked.

"Well, you know how Romeo, Xavier and I don't get along with your friends?"

"Uhh, yeah.."

"Maybe we could do something about it. I hate not being friends with them," Indi's eyes almost shed a tear.

"Hey, it's not our fault. We want to be friends but You, Romeo and Xavier just won't let us.." Dex responded.

"Right. So your saying we have no right to be angry at you all?"

"No. I'm just saying you all have let this go for to long. The past is the past. It's not my fault I ended up with April.... and Ruby is sorry about what she did." Dex stated. "Even though it was less then half her fault," he mumbled.

"Yeah, well.. She still shouldn't of slept with him! He was and is my boyfriend," Indi yelled.

"Hey! Calm down alright. I was just stating pure facts,"

Dex stared down the path he took to get back home, then quickly looked back to his sister.

"I doubt we are going to help them be friends again. Time will heal the hole in the friendships." He then continued. "Just wait and see."

"Oh, alright. But are you sure there is nothing we can do?"

"Not at this point of time, Indi," Dex smiled. "Now, shall I walk you home young lady?"

"Hey! I'm older then you," Indi laughed as they both walked home together.

The door banged loudly. Dex raced to the door and opened it. To no suprise, there was April, standing there with a huge smile on her face. She quickly moved in to hug Dex then kissed him on the lips lightly.

"Hey Dex!" She smiled.

"Hey April. I had a feeling it might be you," Dex smiled.

"Who else would it be but me, your annoying little follower," April laughed.

"Not annoying at all, just beautiful," Dex replied.

April blushed. Her flowing brown hair couldn't hide the redness on her cheeks.

"No need to blush my dear April. You can not hide your beauty from me," Dex said continuing his sentance.

"Well, what is there to say about you. Just a pile of nothing," April joked.

"Oh, is that how you feel about me then?" Dex joined in on the joke. "Well then, you should leave now, unless you have something nice to say.." He smiled.

"Hmm, I might say that you are completely funny and completely handsome," She smiled.

"Well that fixes it all then."

Dex smiled then kissed April on the lips.

"So where to today? Watch Ruby fail and Casey triumphant?" asked Dex.

"Might as well, nothing better to do," April replied.

They both smiled and headed off towards the beach.

Ruby and Casey were both out surfing, trying to get the best wave. Then they both saw April and Dex watching them from the shore. They both raced to the shore.

"I won!" yelled Ruby.

"No, I did!" protested Casey.

Ruby ran up to Casey and kissed him passionatly.

"Now that's a winner!" Casey yelled.

"See, told you I won," Ruby laughed.

Ruby and Casey ran up to April and Dex. They both sat beside them.

"So, what yous up to?" asked Ruby.

"Not much, just got here," April replied.

"Get home before your evil sister, Dex?" asked Casey.

"Well, no. We got home at the same time," Dex replied.

"What? How?" asked Ruby. "That's impossible, unless you walked with her.."

"Well, actually... I did."

"What!?" Ruby yelled.

"Walked home with her, what do you mean?" asked April.

"She wanted to talk, about what's happening between us and her friends."

"What did she say?" asked Casey.

"She wanted all this tension to go away.."

"Like that would happen," Ruby mumbled.

"I think she ment it though. I think she is the only one willing though, by looks," Dex replied.

Ruby stood up.

"I am willing, only if they are though and that will never happen!" Ruby yelled.

"Hey, calm down Rubes" April said calmly. "Look. It would just be akward. If it ever happens it would be a miracle."

"They're right Dex, sorry to say mate, but this isn't going to happen," Casey said agreeing with the girls.

"Yeah, I guess your right.." Dex replied.

Chapter 3

The sun was rising above the horizon, the moon was slowly going back in hiding and the waves crashed together gently, intercepting one another.

"Wake up Indi!" yelled a voice.

Indi groggily turned to face her dad, Sid. Her hair was all messy, she looked like the grudge, only prettier. She looked at the time then sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"I don't feel well," she moaned.

"Nonesense, you do this every Monday Indi, surely by now you know I won't let you stay home," Sid's voice was deep.

"Oh, Dad!" she yelled. "Why can't you be gullible!" Her voice brightened a little.

"Just get up or you will be late," Sid smiled then walked off.

Indi's pale complection rised slowly off the bed. Her eyes barely stayed open as she trudged off to the kitchen.

"Toast, Indi?" asked Dex.

"Yes, please," she smiled.

Indi pulled the chair back then sat down with her head in one hand, half trying to hold it up and half trying to keep her eyes open.

"Why you so tired today?" asked Dex.

Indi groaned.

"Couldn't sleep."

"That's to bad, I slept like a baby," Dex teased.

"Dex!" Indi yelled.

"Sorry, couldn't help myself," he said, coming over to place Indi's toast infront of her. "Breakfast is served!"

"Thanks, Dex."

Despite all the problems going on between Indi and Dex's friends, they seemed to maintain their relationship, even if somedays weren't as good.

"Hey!" yelled a voice from the door.

"Oh, Nicole! So sorry, I better get ready," Indi stood up and raced off into her room with her last bit of toast.

"So how has everything been going? Still not talking to the others?" asked Nicole.

"Well, yeah." Dex replied.

"Mmm, thought so. Romeo doesn't really like talking about so might aswell ask you," Nicole laughed.

"I'm ready!" screamed Indi as she raced back into the room dressed.

"Ok, cool. Let's go," Nicole said. "Cya, Dex!" She patted his back then headed towards the door.

"Bye, Dex," yelled Indi just as she past the door.

"Cya!" replied Dex.

Xavier and Romeo sat outside the school waiting for classes to begin. As they watched the flood of students walk by they saw their least favourite people, Casey, Dex, April and Ruby. They saw them too.

"What you looking at!?" yelled Xavier.

The others ignored him as they walked into the building.

"Xav, let it go," Romeo tried to calm him.

"How can I ignore a girlfriend stealing dork and his party of no good sidekicks?" Xavier asked Romeo.

"Easy, I do it all the time."

"Yeah, well your not me," Xavier clenched his fist a little.

"Xav, just stay away from them. It won't do you any good," Romeo patted him on the back trying to calm him still.

"What wont do him good is when my fist meet's his face, now that wouldn't be good.. for him!"

"Xav! Calm down. Seriously, mate."

Xavier clenched both his fists this time. He held them for that for a while. You could see his face steaming up, like a kettle.

"Xav.." Romeo's voice faded in Xaviers head.

Xavier's legs were already walking, without any command, to find Dex and his friends. It was as if Xavier had no control of his legs.

"Xavier!" called Romeo from the distance. "Come back here!"

Xavier didn't not listen, or just couldn't hear. As he walked in the building he saw Dex. He walked up to him and grabbed Dex by the collar and dragged him outside.

"Hey, what's the matter Xavier?" asked Dex.

"What's the matter? Do you need to ask!?" Xavier splurted.

"Yes? I don't think I have done anything wrong in the past 24 hours."

Xavier couldn't hold his fist back any longer, his arm swung up and his clenched fist hit Dex right on his left cheek. Xavier then pushed Dex to the ground.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Dex said. "Stop."

"Xavier!" Romeo had entered the crowed of people and was standing in the front. "Stop, your not solving anything!" he yelled.

"I don't wont to solve anything!" Xavier responded. "I just want him to get what he deserves!"

Xavier bent down and started punching Dex over and over. Before he could his one more time, Romeo pulled Xavier off Dex and pushed him away from him.

"Xavier, stop!" Romeo cried. "This isn't the way."

Xavier was struggling to try and get back to what he had started but Romeo was to strong for him.

"I would go as far away as I could if I was you Dex," Ruby whispered in his ear.

"Right," Dex replied.

Dex looked at Xavier then quickly ran off. His legs weren't going to stop anytime soon, he didn't want to get anymore bruises on his head. Dex's face was throbbing, pounding like Xavier was still punching him. This wasn't the first time Xavier had done this to Dex. When April and Dex first got together it happened too, only 1 week ago, half his bruises can't even healed fully.
