SIDE NOTE: It is now July 1989

Lowana is putting the last of her belongings into the boot of her car when Leon arrives back from Hayley’s house with the flowers she threw at him earlier.

Lowana: Leon? Have you been crying?

Leon: WHAT DO YOU THINK???

Lowana: I was just asking. *closes the boot*

Leon: I went over to Hayley’s to make things right. But guess what? She never wants to see me again.

Lowana: Leon I feel really bad about…

Leon: NO YOU DON’T! YOU GOT EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANTED!!! AND I HOPE YOU’RE HAPPY!!!

Lowana: I don’t want to leave on bad terms.

Leon: WELL YOU ARE GOING TO!!!

Lowana: I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. *goes to hug Leon but gets pushed away*

Leon: Don’t touch me! I don’t know who you are anymore! You are officially disowned! *goes inside the house and slams the front door*

*Lowana goes into her car and breaks down in tears*

Lowana: I’m sorry Leon. I’m sorry.

*Once inside, Leon goes into his bedroom and looks at a photo of him and Hayley on his desk*

Leon: I’ve let you and Tyson down very badly. *wipes away his tears*

Meanwhile, Vicki and Tevita are having dinner at a Chinese restaurant in the CBD. It’s their first date.

Vicki: I’ve never really been on the dating scene much. I was too busy being a feral bitch.

Tevita: What happened after the court case?

Vicki: Before I murdered Dad, I dropped out of school when I was 17. After the trial, I left Dubbo and moved to Penrith. I got in with the bad crowd. We used to do terrible things. You remember Erin Kennedy who used to be in our class?

Tevita: Yeah.

Vicki: Well, she lived in Penrith and had a cat who she named Sparky. One night, Pussy Willows dared me…

Tevita: Pussy Willows?

Vicki: Her real name was Pauline Willows, but we just called her Pussy. Anyway, Pussy dared me to set Erin’s cat on fire and after kicking it several times, Pussy handed me a match to set it on fire. So I did.

Tevita: What happened next?

Vicki: Erin was really angry and upset. She moved out of Penrith a week after the horrible incident. Two months later, I leave Penrith and move to Liverpool where I cleaned my act up.

Tevita: Sounds like you’ve been through a lot.

Vicki: I know. I’m sorry if I turned our first date into a Sally Jessy Raphael segment.

Tevita: It’s all good. I love you for who you are, good or bad.

*Vicki smiles*

Vicki: Where do you want our next date to be?

Tevita: My house next Thursday.

Vicki: I think that can be arranged. *giggles*

The next day (Sunday), Alison is over and Jenny and Brock’s house helping them with their upcoming wedding.

Alison: Now you’ve got all the invitation cards sent out, got the cake, photographer, florist, planned and booked the honeymoon, hired a jukebox and the outfits for the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

Jenny: The church. We have to pick a time for either midday or two o’clock on the 8th.

Brock: I think two o’clock is an appropriate time.

Jenny: Good. I’ll ring the minister tomorrow and let him know what time the wedding is going to be.

Alison: All that’s left is hiring a marriage celebrant.

Brock: Who are we going to get?

Jenny: How about Lolly?

Alison: Lolly my TAFE teacher?

Jenny: Yeah why not?

Alison: I’ll have to ask her. Have you decided on the bridesmaids and groomsmen yet?

Jenny: you, Rachael, Tina and Rosemary are the bridesmaids.

Brock: And my two brothers and Rosemary’s husband are the groomsmen.

Alison: Then I guess we’re all set.

Jenny: I need to talk to you in private Alison. Excuse us Brock.

Brock: Sure. *goes into the living room*

Alison: What is it Jen?

Jenny: How would you like to be my maid of honour?

Alison: You mean I’m going to be the chief bridesmaid?

Jenny: Yes. You’re my favourite cousin and I look up to you like a sister.

Alison: Then, I will be honoured to be your chief bridesmaid. *hugs Jenny* Who’s the best man?

Jenny: Craig.

Alison: Rosemary’s going to be p***ed off when she hears this. But I don’t care.

Jenny: I want the two of you to be civil at the wedding.

Alison: Don’t worry. I’ll be civil.

*Jenny smiles*

Meanwhile, Alexis is walking home from Hayley’s house when she sees Lowana at the bus stop.

*Alexis walks straight over to Lowana and slaps her*

Lowana: Hey, hey, HEY!!!!

Alexis: You are SUCH a cow Lowana!

Lowana: Just leave me alone Alexis!

Alexis: Did you really think I wouldn’t find out about your little plan to break Leon and Hayley up? I ALWAYS FIND OUT!!!!

Lowana: What’s it to you?

Alexis: Hayley is one of my best friends and I hate seeing her upset. She has been an emotional mess all weekend. So has Leon for that matter.

Lowana: I really didn’t want this to happen.

Alexis: THAT’S A BIT RICH COMING FROM A CHEAP BIMBO LIKE YOU!!! YOU’VE FINALLY SUCCEEDED IN BREAKING THEM UP!!! AND IF TYSON AND LEON’S FRIENDSHIP NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN, YOU’LL BE SORRY!

Lowana: F*** off!

Alexis: Just remember I didn’t give you one of these. *shakes her fist into Lowana’s face before walking away*

*A few minutes later, she does the same to Natalie at the local pool*

Alexis: DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH DAMAGE YOU’VE DONE TO LEON, HAYLEY AND TYSON?

Natalie: Let me think….NO!

Alexis: One of these days Natalie, I’m seriously going to put you in the hospital.

Natalie: You try it and I’ll have you charged with assault.

Alexis: Charge me. I don’t care. At least I’ve done the right thing by my friends. *starts to walk off* Oh and Natalie?

Natalie: Yes?

Alexis: I think you need to cool off. *pushes Natalie into the pool*

Natalie: YOU BITCH!

Alexis: ENJOY YOUR SWIM!!! *walks off*

Over at the Varu’s house, Riggot and Mareta are trying to get a tennis ball from under their house.

Mareta: Have you got it yet?

Riggot: I’m nearly there. Ah, got it! *grabs the tennis ball*

Mareta: Now lets see if I can get your football out. *goes under the house*

Riggot: Be careful sis.

Mareta: OMG!!!!

Riggot: Don’t tell me you’ve lost it already.

Mareta: No. *crawls out with Riggot’s football and a skull*

Riggot: WHAT ON EARTH IS THAT???

Mareta: I don’t know. But I think we better show it to Mum and Dad.

*Riggot takes a good look at the skull*

Riggot: I hate to say this sis, but I think our house is built on a burial ground.

Riggot and Mareta are waiting for the forensic examiner to determine what type of skull they found.

Mareta: How long will it take for you to determine the type of skull sir?

Forensic examiner: Between two and five days.

Riggot: This is freaky stuff man.

Forensic examiner: According to my findings, this skull has been under your house for more than two hundred years. How long have you lived in this house for?

Mareta: About four years, I guess.

Riggot: It was. Cause our old house was going to be pulled down.

Mareta: *to the forensic examiner* Call us as soon as you determine the cause.

Forensic examiner: Will do. *takes the container which has the skull in it before leaving*

Riggot: I have a bad feeling about this sis.

Mareta: If only VJ didn’t move to Canberra! He would’ve fixed this!

Riggot: He’s been gone for three months! You don’t expect him to drive two hours each way for a crisis.

Mareta: *sighs* I guess your right. It’s still scary though.

*Riggot hugs Mareta*

Riggot: It will be just fine. I promise.

That night, Alexis is in her bedroom with Debbie, talking about how their weekend went.

Debbie: You look pissed off. Are you okay?

Alexis: Hayley and Leon broke up.

Debbie: Oh boy! What happened? They were so happy together.

Alexis: Why don’t you meet his sister? The bitch that tore them apart!

Debbie: What did she do?

Alexis: She made it look like they were cheating on each other. Well, Hayley believed Leon that he didn’t cheat on her. But when the mutt and her new best friend planted a tainted photo of Hayley and Tyson in bed together, it got ugly. So last night, Leon finds out about the lie and tried to make up with Hayley but all he got was flowers to his face.

Debbie: That’s terrible! Who’s the new best friend?

Alexis: Natalie Evans!

Debbie: Your arch-nemesis?

Alexis: That’s right! Right now, I hate her more than I hate Todd.

Debbie: Where’s Leon’s sister?

Alexis: Probably at the mole’s house, bawling “Leon disowned me!” “Leon hates me!” WAA! WAA! WAA! The mutt deserved to be disowned!

Debbie: What are you going to do about Evans?

Alexis: She’s being ostracised starting tomorrow!

Debbie: Do you think it will work?

Alexis: Maybe. You going to school tomorrow?

Debbie: No. I’m not up to it.

Alexis: Wanna come to mine again?

Debbie: No thanks. I think I’ll stay at home and rest.

At Civic High the next morning (Monday), Alexis is in the quad with Donna and Catherine. Neither are in a good mood.

*Hayley walks to the quad wiping her crying eyes with a tissue*

Alexis: Oh sis. *walks over to Hayley and hugs her* This should never have happened.

Hayley: I know.

Donna: Where’s Tyson?

Catherine: Out the back, bruised and all!

Donna: I have no clue what happened over the weekend. Can someone fill me in?

*Alexis and Catherine tell Donna what Natalie and Lowana did*

Donna: Those bitches!

*Natalie walks over to Hayley*

Natalie: Oh Hayley. I’m so sor…

*But before Natalie can finish, Donna lashes out*

Donna: YOU HAVE SOME NERVE SHOWING YOUR FACE AROUND HERE!

Natalie: SHUT UP DERELICT DONNA! JUST MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS FOR ONCE!

Donna: THANKS TO YOU AND LOWANA, HAYLEY AND LEON’S RELATIONSHIP WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!!!

Natalie: I’M TRYING TO APOLOGISE TO HER!

Hayley: WELL, IT’S A BIT LATE FOR THAT NOW ISN’T! THE THREE OF US HATE EACH OTHER!

Natalie: We’ve all got our sad stories!

*Hayley punches Natalie so hard that her nose breaks*

Alexis: *shocked* Hayley…

Hayley: *to Natalie* From now on Natalie, NONE OF US WILL TALK TO YOU!

Catherine: And none of us will acknowledge your presence!

*The girls walk off*

Natalie: *to herself* My nose!

Meanwhile, the boys are talking about the Leon/Hayley/Tyson incident.

Riggot: I just never thought Leon and Hayley would break up.

Seru: I never thought Leon would go crazy on Tyson.

Alex: It’s all that bitch Natalie’s fault!

Elijah: Lowana’s too!

Ben: I don’t know what’s going to take place today. What if Leon and Tyson start another fight?

Seru: Don’t count on that happening. Leon’s not coming to school.

Elijah: How come?

Seru: I spoke to his Mum this morning. He’s been in his room all weekend.

Riggot: And Hayley’s been crying this morning.

*Tyson walks over to them*

Tyson: Sup guys! Where’s Leon? I need to talk to him.

Riggot: Not coming to school today man.

Tyson: That would be exactly correct.

Ben: What were going to do?

Tyson: Make peace!

Elijah: Why don’t you try tomorrow?

Tyson: Good idea bro.

*The bell rings*

Alex: That’s the bell.

*the boys walk to their classes*

Over at TAFE later that morning, Alison and her friends are finishing off their Maths work when Lolly makes an announcement to the whole class.

Lolly: May I have your attention please?

*The class quiets down*

Lolly: On Thursday, there will be no TAFE lessons because of a teachers meeting. So, you will have the day off.

*Some students cheer*

Lolly: You may go out for recess. When we come back, we will be having English and then Science.

*As the students walk out of the classroom, Alison walks over to Lolly*

Alison: I need to ask you something Lolly?

Lolly: What is it?

Alison: My cousin is getting married this Saturday and I was wondering if you could officiate the wedding?

Lolly: I would be honoured. What time is the wedding?

Alison: Two o’clock.

Lolly: I’ll be there. Thanks Alison.

*Alison walks over to the lunch room and sits with her friends*

Vicki: So, what did she say?

Alison: She’s going to officiate the wedding. So, it’s a yes!

Amy: That’s marvellous news. I’m so excited.

Kat: I wonder how your cousin Rosemary took the news that you will be the maid of honour.

Alison: To be honest, I don’t care what she thinks. She’s a stuck-up cow!

Melissa: What have you got against her?

Alison: Rosemary was always jealous of me. She would spread rumours about me to our other cousins. One time, she told Mum that I flashed the bus driver which wasn’t true!

Kat: Sounds like you want to kill her!

Alison: Don’t worry. I won’t be spoiling Jenny and Brock’s big day. I’m the mature one.

Vicki: Well said!

Melissa: A drink to that!

*the girls clink their cans of soft drink*

That afternoon, Tina returns home with some exciting news for Rachael.

Tina: Guess what Rachael?

Rachael: What?

Tina: I found the perfect house. I’ll be moving in on Sunday.

Rachael: So soon? Oh, this is exciting news! I’m so glad you’re going to live in your own house. Where is the house?

Tina: It’s in Warilla.

Rachael: Warilla? I thought you were moving back to Civic.

Tina: I thought about it and I want to live in Warilla to be near the ocean.

Rachael: Tina! I don’t believe this!

Tina: I thought you would be happy that I would be finding my own house.

Rachael: Until you told me you were moving to Warilla.

Tina: I see what this is about. You’ve been used to me and Isaiah living here in this house and you can’t stand to see us go.

Rachael: You know that’s not true.

Tina: I’m moving to Warilla, whether you like it or you don’t.

Rachael: But it’s a two hour drive!

Tina: You can still visit Isaiah and me. It’s not like we’re moving to New Zealand.

Rachael: You know what? I hope you did move to New Zealand. *walks upstairs*

*Tina looks betrayed*

After school, Tyson decides to go over to Leon’s house and make peace with him.

*He rings the doorbell. After a couple of seconds, Mrs Longbottom opens the door.*

Mrs Longbottom: Tyson. Are you here to see Leon?

Tyson: Yeah. Is he here?

Mrs Longbottom: I’m sorry, but he’s gone to Harleys. I’ll let him know you came over.

Tyson: Thanks. *walks off sadly*

*Mrs Longbottom sits down on the sofa and looks at a photo of Leon and Lowana when they were younger*

Mrs Longbottom: I wish things were back to normal. *holds the photo tightly*

Later that afternoon, Leon is at Harleys with Alexis, Elijah and Riggot. Lowana is also there with Natalie and Ella.

Alexis: Feeling better yet?

Leon: A little.

Riggot: You’ll be fine man. You can work this out.

Elijah: We believe you bro.

*Over at their table, the three girls (Lowana, Natalie and Ella) are gossiping*

Ella: I can’t believe he disowned you.

Natalie: I can. He’s a total jerk.

Lowana: I don’t care anymore. I really don’t.

*A waitress gives the girls their milkshakes*

Lowana: Thanks. Well, let’s start drinking.

*Back at their table, Leon sees Lowana drinking her milkshake*

Leon: I can’t believe she’s here!

Alexis: Ignore her! She’s not worth it!

Riggot: You want to swap seats man?

Leon: No, I’ll stay where I am.

*Lowana looks over at the table where Leon, Riggot, Alexis and Elijah are sitting*

Lowana: *loudly* Well look who’s here! The brother that disowned me!

Alexis: Just ignore her Leon.

Lowana: *continues to speak loudly* Your life must really suck now that Hayley isn’t a part of your life anymore! Not too mention Tyson! WHOOP WHOOP!

*Natalie and Ella laugh*

Elijah: Who do they think they are?

*Leon runs off, on the verge of tears*

Riggot: Wait man! *goes after Leon, followed by Elijah*

*Alexis walks over to Lowana, Natalie and Ella and glares at them*

Alexis: You really are a two-faced bitch you know that?

Lowana: Are you talking to me Alexis?

Alexis: THAT’S RIGHT! *to Natalie and Ella* As for you two, get out!

Ella: Let’s go Nat. We don’t want to be bashed.

Natalie: And I don’t want my nose to be more broken that it already is.

*Natalie and Ella walk out*

Alexis: HOW DARE YOU HUMILIATE YOUR BROTHER LIKE THAT!

Lowana: Why don’t you just f*** off? Seriously, you are annoying!

Alexis: ANNOYING? AT LEAST I DON’T RUIN FRIENSHIPS OR DESTROY RELATIONSHIPS!

Lowana: This is really funny coming from you Alexis!

*Lowana slaps Alexis*

Lowana: YOU MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS YOU S**T!

*Alexis responds by punching Lowana*

Onlookers: OH! OMG!

*Lowana spills her milkshake on Alexis’s head*

*Alexis grabs a customer’s banana cream custard pie and smashes it in Lowana’s face*

Lowana: *wiping some of the cream off her face* Oh, that’s it! Bring it on you cheap bimbo!

*they begin to fight*

Meanwhile at Alison’s house, Rachael is talking to her about her argument with Tina.

Rachael: I can’t believe I said that to her. The words just came out wrong.

Alison: It’s hard when someone your close to moves away.

Rachael: I wouldn’t be surprised if she left straight away.

Alison: You were upset. She’ll probably forget about the argument when you return home.

Rachael: Do you think so?

Alison: Sure.

*they hear loud yelling*

Alison: I wonder what’s going on.

*Both Alison and Rachael go out the front yard and see Alexis and Lowana continuing their fight on the lawn*

Alison: Hey! Stop it!

Rachael: Break it up!

*Alexis and Lowana continue to fight*

Alexis: I WILL BREAK YOU!!!!

Lowana: YOU GET OFF!!!!

*Rachael manages to restrain Alexis while Alison does likewise with Lowana*

Alison: Both of you go home in separate directions!

*Both Alexis and Lowana walk home in separate directions*

Alison: I wonder what that cow did this time.

Rachael: One guess.

Alison: Could you talk to Alexis and see if she’s okay?

Rachael: I will. I’ll call you Ali. *walks off*

Over at Donna’s house, her and Tyson are talking about the Leon/Hayley drama.

Donna: I am so mad at those bitches! They’ll be sorry!

Tyson: I hate this! Because of them, Leon’s not talking to me and Hayley’s become distant towards the boys.

Donna: How are you coping?

Tyson: Can’t sleep at night. I look disgusting.

Donna: Don’t say that. I spoke to Kiara in Science and she suggested that we throw a stink bomb into Natalie’s bedroom window.

Tyson: I don’t know where she lives.

Donna: But I do.

Tyson: Still, it won’t solve anything.

Donna: Natalie has had it in for me for as long as I can remember! I want revenge!

Tyson: I guess that means we’re going to have to take care of ourselves if Leon and Hayley won’t talk to us anymore.

Donna: Do you think that’s going to happen?

Tyson: I don’t know anymore. I just don’t know.

Donna: Oh Tyson. *goes over to Tyson and hugs him*

At her house, Alexis is in her bedroom fixing her hair when there is a knock on the door.

Alexis: Enter.

*The door opens; It’s Riggot*

Riggot: What a mission!

Alexis: Is Leon okay?

Riggot: He’s still upset. What happened to your hair?

Alexis: I’ll give you one guess.

Riggot/Alexis: Lowana!

Alexis: I wonder where the slag lives now?

Riggot: Leon told me that she’s staying with some girl named Julie Ann Reynolds.

Alexis: Todd’s cousin?

Riggot: I think that’s what Leon said.

Alexis: One bitch moves in with another bitch and what do you get? TWO bitches for the price of one!

Riggot: Have you even met this Julie Ann?

Alexis: No, but I overheard conversations Todd had with Ella and Natalie about Julie Ann.

Riggot: You wanna go out Saturday night?

Alexis: Saturday is Jenny and Brock’s wedding. Why not Friday?

Riggot: Rugby training. Thursday?

Alexis: I’m going to late night with Debbie and the girls.

Riggot/Alexis: Wednesday!

Alexis: Sounds perfect.

*they kiss*

Riggot: I’ll pick you up at 6:30. *smiles*

Alexis: See you then. *winks at him*

That night, Sylvia is in her kitchen washing the dishes from dinner when the doorbell rings.

Sylvia: Coming. *opens the door to see Wayne standing there*

Wayne: Hello little sister.

Sylvia: Wayne! What are you doing here? *hugs her big brother* This is a nice surprise!

Wayne: I thought I would fly over and see my sister for a few days.

Sylvia: How’s Gloria? Is her face getting better?

Wayne: I need to talk to you about that. *they walk to the living room and sit on the armchairs*

Sylvia: Is she going to be okay?

Wayne: Some idiot threw acid in her face as she was walking to her car. Her face looks like it’s been melted.

Sylvia: Oh no. What’s going to happen now?

Wayne: She’s going to have surgery but it could take months for her face to heal.

Sylvia: How are the kids dealing with it?

Wayne: I left the kids with her mother while she recovers.

Sylvia: That’s understandable. I’ll put your suitcases upstairs in the spare room. Mum should be back soon. She’s gone to the shops.

Wayne: I don’t mind unpacking actually. *follows Sylvia upstairs*

At her friend Julie Ann’s house, Lowana is in the living room watch TV when the phone rings.

*Lowana turns the TV down and answers the phone*

Lowana: Hello?

Caller: Is this Lowana Longbottom?

Lowana: Speaking?

Caller: You want to meddle in other people’s affairs and ruin their relationships!

Lowana: WHO IS THIS?

Caller: Don’t worry dog! Your day will come and if I ever see you out on the street, you are DEAD MEAT!

Lowana: What’s your name?

Caller: Goodbye bitch! *hangs up*

The next morning (Tuesday), Tina goes downstairs to find Rachael sleeping on the couch.

Tina: Rachael. *tapping Rachael’s cheek*

*Rachael wakes up*

Rachael: What? What? *sees Tina* Oh, good morning Tina. I meant to talk to you last night.

Tina: It’s okay.

Rachael: You don’t even know what I was going to say.

Tina: You were going to apologise for our fight.

Rachael: You know me so well.

Tina: Well, I AM your sister. *laughs*

Rachael: Truce?

Tina: Of course. *gives Rachael a hug*

Rachael: What do you want to do today?

Tina: I’m out of ideas. Besides, don’t you have to go to TAFE?

Rachael: I’m thinking of chucking a sickie. I want to look good for Jenny and Brock’s wedding.

Tina: It’s in four days!

Rachael: I just hope it’s a success.

Tina: I’m so glad that Jenny chose us as bridesmaids. Did she get the dresses yet?

Rachael: She’s going to get them today. The dresses are pink with white trim.

Tina: My favourite colour. *smiles*

Rachael: Jenny wants our hair done at Nina’s salon at midday.

Tina: I want my hair curled that day.

Tina: I just realised something. Who are we going to leaving in charge of Isaiah?

Rachael: We could ask Mareta. She’s pretty good with kids.

Tina: I’ll ring her this afternoon. *writes down the Varu’s phone number*

Meanwhile, Alison rushes over to Julie Ann’s place upon hearing about Lowana’s phone call.

Alison: Where is she?

Julie Ann: In the living room, like a zombie.

*Alison runs into the living room and finds Lowana sitting on the couch, her eyes all puffy*

Lowana: She’s threatening me.

Alison: Who is?

Lowana: That trollop!

Alison: Why did you call me?

Lowana: You are the only one out of Leon’s friends I trust.

Alison: Are you saying that Hayley made that threatening phone call?

Lowana: Of course I am! Who else would it be?

*Julie Ann enters the living room with two cups of coffee*

Julie Ann: Lowana, I think you should go to bed and rest.

Lowana: You think that I’m delusional, don’t you?

Julie Ann: We’re not saying that. But you need to calm down and relax.

*Lowana grabs a pillow and walks towards the room she is sleeping in*

Julie Ann: *to Alison* I’m sorry about this. You obviously had errands to run.

Alison: I was on my way to TAFE. Pardon me for not introducing myself, I’m Alison Patterson.

Julie Ann: Julie Ann Reynolds. Who’s this Hayley she’s going on about?

Alison: Her brother’s girlfriend. I mean WAS his girlfriend until Lowana and her friend tore them apart.

Julie Ann: So, that’s why Lowana got kicked out! She told me her parents didn’t want her around.

Alison: She’s always after attention. I wonder why she’s really acting out?

Julie Ann: I don’t know. I could try talking to her. I AM her best friend after all.

Alison: Good idea. I have to leave now, excuse me. *walks out of the house*

Lowana: *from the bedroom* Is she gone?

Julie Ann: She’s just getting out of the driveway now.

Lowana: *from the bedroom* Okay. If she calls about Hayley, tell her I’m in the shower.

*Julie Ann looks puzzled*

At TAFE, Alison is telling Vicki, Amy and Melissa about the phone call Lowana received.

Alison: For once, I actually feel sorry for Lowana.

Melissa: Well, I don’t. That’s what she gets for manipulating and lying to people.

Vicki: I don’t really talk to her, but I have a feeling she’s lonely.

Amy: What makes you say that Vicki?

Vicki: Personal experience.

Alison: She does have a point.

Melissa: Still, it doesn’t change what Lowana did.

Amy: Maybe she’s upset because she doesn’t want Leon to grow up.

Alison: Another great point. She needs help sooner or later.

Vicki: Where does she live?

Alison: I’ll give you her friend Julie Ann’s address. *writes down the address before giving it to Vicki*

Vicki: Thanks. I’ll see her this afternoon.

Alison: She’s probably still peeved about the mystery phone call.

*Melissa laughs*

Amy: It’s not funny. *cracks up*

Vicki: AHEM!!

*Melissa and Amy stop laughing*

Melissa/Amy: Sorry.

Meanwhile at Civic High, 8 Plato is having English with Miss Owens. They are reading And Then There Were None.

Miss Owens: For homework, I want you all to write down what Vera Claythorne did to Cyril Hamilton that causes her a lot of guilt.

Todd: Would it be because she dumped him? *smirks at Hayley*

*Hayley glares at him*

Hayley: Shut up!

Madison: Don’t listen to him. *glares at Todd* You’re ugly Todd!

Todd: Look who’s talking!

Miss Owens: ENOUGH!!! Now, I want you all to write out at least one 150 words for this homework task. The task will be due next English lesson, which is on Thursday.

Madison: *to herself* Plenty of time.

*the bell rings for recess*

Miss Owens: Class dismissed.

*The class walk out*

Madison: Have you and Leon talked things over yet?

Hayley: No. The things he said really hurt my feelings.

Madison: Everything will work out. I promise.

*As they walk out to the quad, Natalie walks over to them and starts gloating*

Natalie: Oh, Hayley. Isn’t Leon talking to you? I’m not surprised.

Madison: Leave her alone bitch!

Natalie: Shut up Addison!

Madison: It’s MADISON!

Natalie: *sarcastically* Sorry. *to Hayley* Are you and Tyson up for that double bed yet?

*Hayley goes to attack Natalie, but Madison manages to restrain her*

Natalie: No, no Addison. Let her go. I’m sure she would like to get suspended.

*Donna storms over to Natalie*

Donna: LEAVE HER ALONE RIGHT NOW!

Natalie: What are you going to do about it Derelict Donna?

Donna: THIS! *slaps Natalie* AND IF YOU DON’T LEAVE MY FRIENDS ALONE, YOU WILL REGRET EVER KNOWING ME! GOT THAT BITCH?!?

*Natalie just storms off*

Donna: You okay girls?

Hayley: Just fine. *hugs Donna*

Donna: She’ll be sorry. I’ve had enough of her bullying. I just can’t wait for this afternoon.

Hayley: Why? What’s happening?

Donna: I’ll tell you all about it when the home bell rings.

That afternoon, Donna’s class has Maths with Miss Saenz. Donna waits for Natalie to bully someone before she can go on the attack.

Carina: Miss Saenz? What’s the answer to question 4? I can’t seem to understand it.

Miss Saenz: I’ll help you.

*Just then, someone knocks on the door. It’s Miss Ayrton, the head teacher of Maths*

Miss Ayrton: Miss Saenz. I need to see you for a moment.

Miss Saenz: I’ll be right back Year 10. *walks out of the classroom*

Natalie: Aw, poor Carina. Having problems with your Maths again?

Carina: Shut up Nathan!

Natalie: Nathan?!? NATHAN?!?! Why you…

Donna: Don’t worry Carina. I know just thing that will shut her up. *pours an entire bottle of blue paint all over Natalie*

Natalie: MY HAIR!!! It’s covered in paint!

Donna: You got what you deserved for being a heartless bully!! And besides, the colour blue really does suit you.

*Natalie runs out of the room, totally humiliated*

Mareta: Good one Donna.

Donna: Thanks, but you should be really thanking Kiara who supplied me with the paint.

Kiara: Thank you all.

*The class start cheering and clapping. Miss Saenz returns*

Miss Saenz: What’s going on?

Kiara: We were just cheering and clapping because this is the best Maths class ever.

*Miss Saenz smiles before returning to her desk*

When school finishes, Hayley is walking home when Leon walks over to her.

Leon: Hey.

Hayley: What do you want?

Leon: I’m just trying to be nice.

Hayley: Do you realise how much you hurt me when you said those awful things to me? DO YOU?!?

Leon: Yes, I do. But your behaviour isn’t exactly helping the situation.

Hayley: Why is that?

Leon: Giving me the silent treatment. I mean, come on. It’s just immature.

Hayley: YOU’RE A GOOD ONE TO TALK ABOUT IMMATURE!!!!

Leon: IS THAT SO? WHY DON’T YOU STOP BEING SO PIG-HEADED?

Hayley: PIG-HEADED?!? THAT’S CHARMING! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NEXT, LEON? HIT ME!

*Leon looks hurt*

Leon: I would NEVER, EVER hit you! I know you don’t see it at the moment, but I still love you.

Hayley: Well, I don’t love you anymore, so goodbye! *walks off*

*Leon sits down on a metal bench and fights back his tears*

*Meanwhile, Hayley returns home and sits down on the lounge. When she does, she holds onto a pillow and starts sobbing uncontrollably*
