The music that played a lot in scenes of Steven trying to "be friends" with Jennifer, which was the same as the music that played a lot in Blake and Meg scenes

Thank you :) There is another on the way, currently in the annoyingly frustrating editing process.

The music is definitely very special and you can tell Mike Perjanik really put his soul into it, he wasn't just churning out 'anything to fit the scene' but creating these grand masterpieces, some that would be used only the once. He was instrumental to creating a feel of Summer Bay that most casual viewers probably took for granted.

Hi Andrew,

any luck with that piece that you say is on its way. I am patiently waiting as I know it will be worth it!!!

I'm not sure if you are familiar with my favourite every orchestral piece but it is when Lachie leaves in the car. It's beautiful and warm but turns really sour at the end. I think it's the only time it was used. If you could do that it would be amazing. I'd pay!!

A thread to discuss the underscores used on the Early Years of the show, and also listen to clean copies of the music as created by talented fans!

Playlist:

Bobby's Theme

Sophie's Theme

Celia's Theme

Meg's Final Sunrise

Sad Theme (One of the show's longest used pieces. Tom's death, Dale's death and many other moments)

1995 Bittersweet

Early Years Underscore (hints of Bobby and Greg's Theme and Sophie's Theme)

Tense Cliffhanger Music

Marilyn and Donald's Wedding (kiss the bride, She Walks In Beauty)

There is a facebook page dedicated to Mike Perjanik's beautiful piano scores which can be found here:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/neighbourshomeandawayunderscoremusic/

It is also used to post links to rare or hard to find pieces of music played in the Diner and Surf Club.

It is also used for Neighbours early years scores.

Thank you for posting this beaut_t

Bobby's theme is both bitter and sweet to me. ☹️ A version of this theme played at the end of the episode when she finally got Frank, the man of her dreams.

Hello All,

I'm not sure if it has been posted here but do any of you fine folk have the theme that was playing at the end of the pilot when the Fletcher's were taking a family photo with Bobby?

Thanks in advance!

Tear me up

Cut me to pieces

Fold me away in you dark secret places

wanna be part of the ocean of you

swallow me up and drown me in blue

and wanna explore you and taste all your flavours

youre sweet and you salty like poison and pain

i wanna dissolve inside you forever

heal me and feel me, and drive me insane

surely mike perjankik didn't come up with these disgusting lyrics! Lol 😆

"You're right, he has a gift... just don't show it to your dad" 😄

Trying to think now if it did actually become one of their fully-fledged songs (I don't recall a performance off-hand), if not then I imagine it'd just be the work of one of the scriptwriters.

Justine sang it in the classroom and tiegan played the guitar. It had a lovely melody to be fair.

I thought with the Endless Summer we'd have some underscores released. It sucks that Home and Away never used the Production music that was used in Prisoner...

Old H&A Fan may disagree. He pointed out a few scores sounded the same.

The Endless Summer thing was disappointing. Anyway, I hope we get some tracks released. I am reuploading my rips to YouTube when I feel like it, so hopefully it will all be done.

Welp, I am done:
