Home And Away actor Christian Clark was questioned by police after the glass-panel front door of the former Gazebo Hotel building was kicked in last Sunday morning. Clark, who plays Penn Graham in the teen drama, was caught up in police inquiries into the vandalism. It reportedly involved four men shattering the glass entry of the exclusive Elizabeth Bay Rd address, writes TV writer Holly Byrnes. Witnesses alleged the guest star on the Channel 7 series was apprehended by local officers on the scene. As of Wednesday lunchtime, the foyer remained in disrepair but 24-hours later evidence of the damage had been cleared, as had the building owner's complaint to police, with no charges laid. It is understood damage was to be paid for by a third party. A police spokesman confirmed yesterday an investigation had been conducted into the case but, after the withdrawal of the owner's report, no further action would be taken. One resident of the building, who asked not to be named, said: "The person who did the damage should be liable for it, regardless." A receptionist at Clark's management, Creative Representation, said: "We're not allowed to comment on that at this stage." Source
