Chapter 21

I pull the branch as far back as I can.

I know it will hurt Ruby, but its the only thing I can think of to stop her.

I let it go.

"Ow" Ruby screeched as the branch hit her at the back of the head.

"Did you hear that?" Alf said as he stopped in his tracks

"Hear what?" Colleen asked as she stood beside Alf.

"Ow" Alf replied.

"Oh, sorry, did I stand on your foot?" Colleen asked as she took a step to the side

"No you stupid woman. I heard a noise" Alf said as he looked forward.

Alf shone the light into the trees.

"Its the cemetery" Colleen said "I'm not going in there"

"Colleen we have to" Leah said as she followed Alf

"Who says?" Colleen asked as she clutched her torch

"Ruby might be in there"

"What do you want?" Ruby asked as she looked around

I want to answer, but I can't. She looks so vulnerable.

So scared

"What do you want!" Ruby said again

I place my hand on Ruby's shoulder.

I want you to go home. Be safe.

Riley needs his sister.

The cold breezed swept across Ruby's face.

She felt Charlie stood right next to her.

"Mum, I'm so sorry. It was my fault. I just want him to pay.

Its my fault" Ruby cried out.

I kneel down beside her as she collapses to the floor in a cold shiver.

"Ruby!" Alf shouted as he made his way into the cemetery.

Leah and the others shone their torches around the yard.

Aden looked over to a tree.

"There!" He pointed.

Alf, Leah, Irene, Aden and Nicole ran to the heap on the floor.

Ruby shook with coldness.

"Here love, wrap yourself in this" Irene said as she handed Ruby a blanket.

Ruby reached out for the blanket.

"I'll call Angelo" Nicole said as she took her phone out of her pocket.

Aden walked up to Ruby. "Come on" He said as he picked Ruby up in his arms and carried her back to Alf's ute.

Angelo walked into the office.

Knowing Ruby was safe at home with Morag made him feel a whole lot better.

"Hans Keller AKA Gary Tedman. Wanted in Sydney for fraud. Wanted in Adelaide for armed robbery. And you wont believe this" Georgina said as she walked into Angelo's office

"Try me"

"Wanted in Preston, England, for kidnapping and attempted murder"

Angelo shook his head in disbelief. All the charges he has against him, and he should have been caught before now.

"We have to get this bastard. For Charlie" Angelo said sternly

"For Charlie" Georgina replied

"Why did you look at the cemetery?" Ruby asked Irene as she sat down on the couch.

"Leah got the feeling that Charlie was leading us to you. We all felt her"

Ruby smiled at the thought of Charlie looking out for her.

"You all felt her?" Ruby repeated

"Yea, even Colleen, the biggest skeptic out of all of us"

"Can I tell you something? It sounds stupid" Ruby said as she looked at her hot chocolate

"Rubes, nothing is stupid" Irene replied as she ran her fingers through Ruby's hair

"When I was at mum's grave, I kept seeing that night over and over. I made me so mad. And then I'd had enough, I got up and started to walk out of the graveyard, but, something made me stop"

Irene looked at Ruby, slightly confused "Like what?"

"A branch hit me at the back of the head. I looked around but I couldn't see anyone"

Ruby sounded serious, which made Irene feel bad for letting a small laugh out

"Is that why you said ow?" Irene asked, trying to hid her smile

"You heard that?" Ruby asked

"Its how we were able to find you"

"But I thought mum was leading you?"

"We lost her. Leah looked around for the light coming from Charlie's torch but she'd gone" Irene told her

"So it was mum" Ruby smiled

"Your mum?" Irene asked

Morag walked into the room.

"Riley is asleep" She said as she sat down

"Aww good" Irene said as she looked at Morag.

Silence filed the room.

I stand at the back of the room.

Looking at my distraught daughter.

How could I not know what she was going through?

I'm her mother.

Angelo threw his empty cup into the bin.

It landed on top of the other eight that were already in there.

"Angelo, you have to go home" Giles said to the tired Sargent

"I can't. Not until he is behind bars where he belongs" Angelo replied, wiping his eyes

"Angelo, you're dead on your feet, you need sleep. You have a step-daughter at home who could use your support and a young son who needs his dad"

Angelo knew Giles was right.

But how could he walk away from the case?

"Look, I'll stay and work on this. If I find anything I will call you" Giles said

"You will call?" Angelo said as he pointed at Giles

"Promise" Giles replied

Angelo nodded.

Grabbing his coat and keys he headed out of the station.

The wave broke on the beach,

The moon reflected in the sea.

Angelo kicked the sand with his feet as he walked along the wet sand.

Charlie walked alongside.

Looking behind her she saw her footprints alongside her husbands.

Charlie took Angelo's hand and rested her head on his shoulder.

The couple carried on along the beach.

Leah looked down at Angelo.

Behind him she saw the footprints.

A smile appeared across her face.

"Charlie will help"

Chapter 23.

This chapter (and the next) focuses on what happened before Charlie died.

I stand and watch as Angelo sleeps.

Its been a while since he was this relaxed whilst asleep.

Its nice to see.

I walk down the corridor to Riley's room.

He sleeps just like Angelo.

Hands behind his head, legs spread out like a star fish.

I walk further down the corridor.

Ruby's room.

She is sitting. Looking at the picture of her and me at my wedding.

I remember that day.

I was four months pregnant when we got married. I told Angelo I was pregnant before he proposed.

You should have seen his face-It was a picture.

(2009)

It was a warm April morning.

Charlie woke to the sound of a loud bird outside the bedroom window.

"Shut up!" Charlie shouted out the window

"What? I wasn't snoring" Angelo said as he sat up with a jump.

"Not you, the bird outside" Charlie said with a laugh.

Charlie swayed slightly as her head became light

"Whoa, you ok?" Angelo asked as he rushed to Charlie's side

"Yea, I'm just.." Charlie wasn't able to finish. She ran to the bathroom.

Angelo sat at his desk at work. Wondering what was wrong with Charlie.

His phone rang.

"Charlie? what's wrong?.. Yea, I'll be there in five" Angelo hung up.

Opening the drawer to his desk, he took out a small box.

The item inside glistened as he opened it.

Angelo walked along the beach to where Charlie was stood.

He smiled to himself.

I can't believe how beautiful Charlie is.

This is the right decision. I never want to be without her.

Charlie turned to face Angelo.

Charlie had a smile on her face that wouldn't go.

"Hey" Charlie said

"Hey"

"I've got something to tell you" They both said together.

Charlie and Angelo laughed.

"You go" Angelo said.

"Angelo. I'm pregnant" Charlie smiled

Angelo stood and stared.

His mouth opened in shock.

"Angelo?" Charlie said as she waved her hand in front of his face.

Angelo smiled. "We're having a baby"

"Yea" Charlie smiled

For the next three hours Charlie and Angelo sat on the bench looking out to sea.

"Charlie. I've got something to ask you"

"No, we're not calling the baby Bruno" Charlie smiled

"Funny. That's not what I was going to ask" Angelo cleared his throat. "Erm, I've thought about this all day, and I'm happy with my decision"

Angelo reached into his pocket. Taking the red box out of his pocket and putting it into Charlie's eye line, Charlie's face lit up.

"Oh my god" Charlie gasped.

"Charlie? Will you marry me?"

The next day...

Charlie and Angelo layed in each others arms.

"We should tell Ruby" Charlie said

"Yea, you do that, I'll go to work" Angelo replied

"She'll be happy" Charlie said, not entirely convinced of what she'd just said.

"Agghhh! Oh my god! That's great!" Ruby squeeled

Charlie was taken aback by the enthusiam

"When's your due date? When you getting married? Who's going to be bridesmaids?"

"Whoa, Rubes, we've only just got engaged" Charlie said

"Yea, but, you want to be married before the baby is born don't you?" Ruby asked

"I don't know. I don't want to rush things" Charlie replied

"Mum, you've skipped a few chapters ahead already. Normal people get engaged, get married then get pregnant. Not get pregnant, get engaged then get married" Ruby laughed

"Alright. I'm due November 30th" Charlie smiled

Chapter 24

May (early)

Charlie made her way to the counter in the diner to order her usual coffee.

But then she remembered that she wasn't able to have coffee.

"The usual Charlie?" Colleen asked as she saw Charlie

"Erm, no thanks, I'll just have an OJ please" Charlie replied

Colleen gave Charlie a look.

"Really?" Colleen asked

"Yes" Charlie replied.

Colleen went to the fridge and took out an orange juice. "Three dollars please" Colleen said as she put the bottle on the counter.

Charlie took the money out of her purse and handed it to Colleen.

The light glistened from her engagement ring.

"See you later Colleen" Charlie said as she took her juice

"Yea, bye" Colleen said in awe as she realised what she had seen

"Well at least we don't have to worry about telling people" Charlie said as she entered Angelo's office

"About what? Not the baby" Angelo replied

"No, about us been engaged. Colleen saw the ring when I got a drink"

"You got a drink and didn't get me one?" Angelo asked

"I never thought" Charlie said, rubbing her forehead.

"Its fine. Hey I've been thinking. How long are you taking off when the baby is born?" Angelo asked

"Angelo, I'm only three months, I've got plenty of time to think about that"

"Charlie, you don't. By the time we've told family, friends and colleagues, and gone to the hospital appointments, you'll be about to drop" Angelo said

"Do you have to say drop?" Charlie asked

"Sorry. But I am right"

"I know. It just never crossed my mind" Charlie replied.

"So. Who we telling first?" Angelo asked

"What are we telling them? About the baby or the wedding?" Charlie asked

"Both"

"Angelo, didn't you tell me a few weeks ago that your dad is a strong believer in marriage before children?"

"Yea so?" Angelo asked, not grasping what Charlie meant

"If we tell your parents that I'm pregnant and we aren't married, your dad isn't going to thrilled"

"Ohh. No, he isn't" Angelo replied

"So, what do we say? We're getting married, and have been engaged for six months, and me falling pregnant was unexpected" Charlie said

"That could work" Angelo said

"But then we'll need everyone to say the same thing" Charlie added

"Crap. So What do we do?" Angelo asked

"We'll think of something"

A knock at the door took their minds of their situation

"We got a call from Adelaide. An armed robbery left one dead, and three injured. The last they saw of the guy, he was heading north, the believe he lives somewhere near the city" Giles said

"What's the guys name?" Angelo asked

"We don't know" Giles replied

Three days later...

After driving from the bay to the rest home where Ross was, Charlie, Ruby and Angelo were glad to be able to stretch their legs.

"They really couldn't have chosen somewhere further to move to" Ruby said sarcastically

"It was the traffic" Angelo said

As the three walked along the corridor to Ross' room, Angelo began to panic that Ross wouldn't approve of him been a son-in-law.

"What's wrong?" Charlie asked as she looked to Angelo

"Nothing" Angelo lied

Ruby was first into the room.

"Hi dad!" Ruby said as she gave Ross a hug

"Ruby, what a surprise" Ross said

"Hi dad" Charlie said as she entered the room.

"Hi sir" Angelo said as he raised his hand to a small wave

"Charlie, Angelo. What a wonderful surprise!" Ross smiled as a tear fell down his face.

For two hours the four reminisced.

Then Angelo began to get agitated

"Angelo my boy, what's wrong" Ross asked as he saw the look on Angelo's face.

"Nothing sir" Angelo said as he sat still

"And stop calling me sir. I haven't been knighted" Ross said, causing Charlie and Ruby to let a small laugh out.

"Right. Ross" Angelo said.

"That's better"

Ross looked over to Charlie.

He could see a small lump.

He could a smile that wouldn't go.

He saw a glow that he hadn't seen since 1980.

He saw a glisten in the sun.

"Charlie, Angelo. Is there something you want to tell me?"

Ruby looked at Ross, then to Charlie and Angelo. She smiled when she realized.

"What?" Charlie asked

Angelo couldn't stand it any longer. "Charlie and I are getting married. And we're having a baby"

Charlie's eyes widened. Ruby's mouth opened

Silence fell across the room.

"Two and a half hours" Ross said as he looked at his watch

"What?" Charlie asked

"Its taken you two and a half hours to tell me that. I knew there was something different between you two" Ross said as he smiled at Charlie and Angelo.

"You're not mad?" Angelo asked

"Why would I be? I'm going to be a grandfather" Ross looked over to Ruby. She looked lost "Again" Ross added. Causing Ruby to smile slightly.

Charlie, Angelo and Ruby drove back to the bay.

A car drove from Adelaide, through the dense bush.

Police sirens wailed behind the driver.

The driver glanced in the rear view mirror.

An evil grin appeared on the face of the driver.

Angelo walked back into the station.

"You look rested" Georgina noticed as she looked up form the desk.

"Thanks. Have we had any break troughs?" Angelo asked as he grabbed some files.

"No" Giles lied.

Angelo put the file down and walked into his office.

"Why did you say that?" Georgina asked

"Because if I told him the truth he'd want to help. I don't think he could handle looking into the eyes of his wife's killer"

"But its what he needs to do to come to terms with what's happened"

"Can't we wait to tell him. At least let us find where he lives" Giles said.

Chapter 25

Giles sat at Angelo's computer.

Staring at him was the picture of Charlie and Angelo.

Unable to bare looking at the happy faces staring at him, he placed the picture out of his sight.

On the desk next to him was the file on Gary Tedman/Hans Keller.

His picture on the front mirror the evilness in his grin.

A cold shiver ran down Giles' back.

Giles could remember looking over to Angelo as he carried Charlie out of the burning building.

This made Giles even more determined to track Gary/Hans down.

At school....

Ruby walked down the corridor in a daze.

The students had no idea about what had happened over the last couple of days.

Teachers were been lenient with Ruby, they were making sure she was ok.

"Hey Ruby. What did you do to get the teachers to be so nice to ya?" Gonk asked

"What?" Ruby asked

"The teachers, they're fussing over you" Gonk replied

"Just leave it yea?" Ruby said as she clutched her folder.

"Sorry" Gonk said as he shook his head and turned away.

At Charlie and Angelo's house...

Angelo walked over to the Tv and switched it on.

Pressing play, he watched the tape that was in.

The film rolled.

Revealing laughter, sunshine, the sizzling of burgers from a barbecue.

A banner showed:

Congratulations Charlie and Angelo.

A tear rolled down Angelo face

"Well done my boy!" Ross said as he shook Angelo's hand

"Thank you sir" Angelo smiled

"What did I say about calling me sir?" Ross asked

"Sorry Ross"

Charlie walked over to Angelo

Gently placing a kiss on his cheek

"What was that for?" Angelo asked as he took the bottle away from his mouth

"For been you" Charlie smiled

Angelo leaned in for another kiss But Charlie let out a gasp

"What's wrong?" He asked as he dropped his bottle

"Mum?" Ruby voiced said over the film

"The baby kicked" Charlie smiled

Angelo placed his hands on Charlie's stomach

A third hand appeared form behind the video recorder

"Oh my god " Angelo said "That's our baby"

Angelo wiped the tears away from his face.

Switching the TV off, he grabbed his keys and headed to his car.

"You sure there are no break troughs?" Angelo asked as he walked up to Giles

"Yes, I'm sure"

I stand back, watching.

I want so badly for Angelo to get Gary or Hans or whatever he calls himself.

But what I don't want, is for him to go off with only half of the information.

How can I stop Angelo from getting to the station on his week off?

As an idea occurred in Charlie's mind, a devilish gin swept across her face..........

A short chapter, just to keep you going....

Chapter 26

Angelo layed in bed staring at the ceiling.

Twiddling his thumbs as he thought of what to do.

Boredom had set in.

"That's it" Angelo said as he through the covers of himself.

Angelo walked over to the closet to get his uniform out.

I walk to the closet before him and take his shirt.

I place it under my top.

Then realize, that Angelo would still be able to see it.

Angelo followed the shirt as it made its way across the room.

"What the hell?" Angelo whispered.

I smiled.

Then I throw it out of the open window.

"No" Angelo shouted as he ran towards the window

As Angelo looks down to the ground, I grab more of his clothes.

I hid them in places Angelo would never look.

Angelo turned back around and was greeted by a coat hanger swaying in the empty closet.

He scratched his head as he tried to figure out what had happened.

Riley cried in the other room.

I follow Angelo as he goes to check on our son.

Riley is holding on the the bars of his cot.

"Mama" he mummers

My heart jumped.

My son's first word.

"Riley!" Angelo said happily.

Picking his son up in a loving embrace

Riley laughed as he was spun around.

The next day.......

Angelo was still in the clothes he was in from yesterday.

Charlie's hiding place still hadn't been found.

"Where did daddy put them?" Angelo said to Riley as he search his room

Riley looked up at Angelo with his big eyes as if to say 'Why you asking me?'

"Right, why would you know?" Angelo corrected himself.

I watched.

Laughing as Angelo looked in all the wrong places.

I know it is mean of me to hide all his clothes, but it's the only way I can keep him away from work.

At least with Riley saying his first word its kept Angelo's mind of the case.

Speaking of that. I wonder how that's going......

At the police station........

Giles hung up the phone.

"Yes!" He exclaimed happily

"What?" Georgina asked as she looked up form her desk

"We have a lead"

"really? That's great! What is it?"

"A witness from across the street saw where Gary/Hans fled to after the hostage situation. He headed South"

"South? There's nothing there though" Georgina said

"Well apparently there is, a couple of road traffic officers checked that area out, turns out someone has been living in an abandoned shack fifteen miles from the hostage site"

"So they think its our guy?" Georgina asked

"It's looking that way" Giles smiled

"Are we going to tell Angelo?" Georgina asked

"Not yet. We need to check it out first"

"How? If we go and he's there, he'll recognize us" Georgina pointed out

"He never saw me and I don't think he was paying much attention to you. Besides, we're going in an unmarked car"

"We?"

"We" Giles smiled.

Chapter 27

I watch as Angelo emerges from our bedroom.

He eventually found his clothes.

Men, they never look in drawers!

Hopefully not been able to get out of the house for four days has given Giles and Georgina enough time to find whats his name.

Ruby sat at her desk.

Gazing at a picture of all four of us the day Riley was born.

I always knew Ruby would be a great big sister.

All the way through my pregnancy, I could see the amount of love she had.

Ruby would never had admitted it, but I knew it was there.

There was a knock at the door.

"Yea?" Ruby said

"Can I come in?" Angelo asked

"Yea"

Angelo walked in. Ruby turned to face him.

"So can actually find your clothes"

"The were in a drawer. I never us a drawer, they were in the closet!"

"So who put them there then?" Ruby asked

"How should I know?"

"I don't know" Ruby laughed

"Anyway, look, can you watch Riley for me? I have to call in at the station" Angelo asked

"Yea, sure" Ruby replied.

"Thanks"

Angelo walked out of Ruby's room and headed out of the front door.

"Come on Riley, we'll go shopping" Ruby said as she got her baby brother ready.

The sight was so beautiful to watch.

My son and my daughter.

I wanted to stay and watch, but I had Angelo to stop.

At the station...

Georgina and Giles we looking over the notes they had obtained from their little drive.

No other police officer knew what they had done.

"What are we supposed to do now? We know where his is, we know what he's up to. Why can't we get him?" Georgina asked

"Its Angelo who needs to do this. But we need to tell him everything. So we need to get all of this paperwork ready for him to read through. Which means we can't let him or anyone else know"

"I hate keeping things from him"

"I know, but he lost his wife because of this guy. Angelo needs to have all the correct information if he wants to get a clean arrest"

He's on a mission.

He wont slow down, god he is stubborn.

This is harder than I thought.......

Chapter 28

This chapter focuses on Ruby/Riley

Charlie's speaking

Ruby walked into Riley's room.

She walked softly up to his cot and gently reached in to take Riley out.

Riley smiled as he was brought closer to Ruby.

"Hi baby" Ruby smiled. "Should we go get some breakfast?" Ruby asked as she headed towards the door.

In the kitchen, Riley was sitting in his high chair, banging the table with his spoon.

Ruby turned to face him and saw him laughing as the noise was made.

"You nutter" Ruby smiled.

After breakfast, Ruby got Riley ready to go shopping.

She changed his nappy, put a top and matching trousers on him- something Charlie had bought when she was six months pregnant, and had no idea what she was having- she got his change bag ready, got her money together and headed out the door.

Walking down one of the many high streets, Ruby felt a smile fill her face.

But something was missing.

Charlie was missing.

"That dress looks good. Don't you think Riley?" Ruby asked as she gazed at a green flowing dress in the window of 'Poppy's Glam'

But Riley just cooed.

"You're a lot of help" Ruby said.

Ruby continued down the street.

Two elderly women walked over to the pram.

"Aww, how precious. How old?" One of them asked

"Fourteen months" Ruby answered

The other woman looked at Ruby. "You don't look old enough to have a child this age" she said

"Excuse me?"

"Girls these days" One woman said

"Girls these days? Firstly, I'm not his mother, I'm his sister. Secondly, whatever age I am when I have a child is not of your business" Ruby said as she sternly walked off. "Oh and another thing. I'm sixteen, my mum is thirty. What do you think about that!" Ruby said as she looked back over her shoulder.

"Disgraceful" The woman said to each other as they looked at Ruby as she walked down the high street.

Entering Riley's room, Ruby put Riley on the floor and got him some building blocks out.

Riley crawled over to them and began banging two blocks together.

Ruby smiled when she saw the delight in Riley's face.

Riley held two bricks in his hand, and tried to put them on top of each other.

Laughing when they fell to the floor.

"Here, let me help" Ruby said as she joined Riley on the floor.

Ruby stacked five bricks on top of each other.

Riley looked up at Ruby.

His outstretched his hand and knocked it over. Laughing as he did so.

Ruby joined in laughing.

Walking back into the front room Ruby sat on the couch.

Riley had just been put down for his nap.

Ruby reached over and took the family photo of the table.

"Mum, I wish you were here with Riley. You'd be so proud of him. He looks like you, you know. The little faces he pulls, his big eyes. Angelo is there in him too, but all I see is you. I promise I'll take good care of him mum. He will remember you"

I watched with such love in my heart.

My daughter and my son. Together.

It was something I wished I was alive to see.

So that Ruby and Riley knew I was watching.

That it made me smile.

Chapter 29

This is a small chapter.

A figure moved in the bushes.

Breathing heavily as they watched the school-child walk down the road.

The police car pulling up stopped the figure moving.

Giles and Georgina got out of the car and walked into the diner.

Ruby was just ahead of them.

"Hey Rubes. How you doing?" Georgina asked as she walked up to the teen

"I'm alright, been better" Ruby replied

"Good. Look, if you ever need anyone to talk to, you know where I am" Georgina smiled

"Yea. Thanks. And thanks for been a good friend to mum"

"She was a great person. How could I not be friends?" Georgina replied as she gave Ruby a hug.

Angelo walked into the police station with Riley.

His colleagues all walked over to him to see how Riley was doing.

"I'm alright too thanks" Angelo said as no one was paying him any attention

"Sorry mate. How are you?" Freddie asked

"I'd be a lot better when we get this guy" Angelo replied.

Piles and piles of paperwork stared him back in the face. "Perfect"

Angelo walked over to the computer.

The screen showed up a file.

Address: Flat 3A West Street.

Felonies: Armed Robbery: Murder

Jail: England- 15 months Hartworth Jailhouse. Sydney- 3 Years Gerick Prison

Wanted in connection with: Bail missal: Arson: Kidnap: Possession of fire-arm: Murder.

Angelo looked away from the screen when he read murder.

Charlie. He whispered.

Angelo continued down the page.

He saw Giles and Georgina's names.

Hitting the desk in anger he walked out of the station, forgetting his son.

Chapter 30

The figure in the bushes moved.

They walked down the road, only to turn the other way when a man walking with determination headed his way.

As the man walked passed the figure, the figure ran.

"What the hell were you thinking?!" Angelo shouted to Giles and Georgina.

The customers in the diner looked over to see what was going on.

Colleen walked out of the kitchen holding a hot plate.

Ruby looked back and forth at Georgina and Giles.

"Angelo, you need to calm down" Georgina said

"Calm down? You've been going behind my back on this case"

"We wanted you to have solid information before you took any action"

"I told you I wanted to be apart of this case!" Angelo shouted

"We thought we were doing you a favor" Giles added

"Well you thought wrong"

"Angelo, we know how important this is. But we can have you getting to emotionally involved. You know that"

"I have to get this guy. He killed my wife!"

Ruby ran out of the diner

"Ruby!" Georgina shouted.

But it was no use, Ruby was gone.

The figure reached a broken down community.

Not may people lived in the houses.

Little fires were made in barrels.

Windows were smashed.

Sirens could be heard in the distance.

The sirens caused the figure to look behind them.

Every siren that went off could be the one for them.

Walking up the three stairs that weren't broken, the figure entered a room.

The walls were full of pictures.

A picture of a school-girl hung from the wall.

The girl had long brown hair.

Green/blue eyes.

A big smile.

Next to this picture was on of the same girl with a boy. Her boyfriend.

The boyfriend had curly brown hair.

Brown eyes.

And a smile that could be loving. Or could be evil.

Next to this picture was the boyfriend and another boy. His brother.

The brother had red hair.

A piece of paper with writing on was under these three pictures.

On the piece of paper it said:

Grant Bledcoe Loves Charlie Buckton

The figure punched the piece of paper.

The wall behind breaking.

Blood trickled down the wall and on to the floor.
