Still, look on the bright side, we have been getting a better deal than when the series was shown on Seven back in 1999 & 2001—2 when there were far more disruptions and inconsistencies, including a break that lasted over a year, from the beginning of January 2000 to the end of January 2001. I can confirm this because I just checked the TV Tonight website and downloaded the MS Word document for 7TWO Jan 27, containing that week's TV Guide for 7TWO. While a disappointing milestone has been reached for 7TWO with the break reaching a record 2 whole months, it falls short of the whole-year break the Seven analog channel took between January 7, 2000 and January 29, 2001. Further, in 2001 and 2002 there were increasing signs of instability with many irregularities and cancellations before the stoppage at Episode 623 on May 24, 2002. 7TWO's record has shown a lot more stability, but the worry now is the fact that the breaks have gotten longer with each passing year. Old H&A Fan Posted January 19, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 19, 2013 How did he know I mean someone said it would be back on the 7th and a lot of other people said it would be the 21st (maybe confusing the Early Years with the current ones). Now, we have to be prepared for the next Christmas break, when a similar thing is likely to happen.....someone said they didn't like showing The Early Years during non-ratings periods. Did they decide this this year and not previous years, who knows? We can guess about the tennis because of timezones (11am in Sydney is 9am in Perth) but before the tennis we had to miss out this year (and possibly next year as well) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Old H&A Fan Posted April 13, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 13, 2013 WARNING: ANZAC Day mistake of 2011 to be repeated this year A source who saw an advance guide for 7TWO via a Foxtel iPad app, has told me we are to face another nuisance disruption to what has otherwise been a nice, smooth running of the 7TWO soap mornings since the beginning of the year. Home And Away: The Early Years is not listed in the schedule for Thursday, April 25. Although this may only be for one day, that doesn't take away the fact that the nuisance of the disruption is there that day, and I'm sorry, but I, for one, can't be happy with that.
